Rosier Mansion ((located in London NOT in HOGWARTS...aka you cannot go there...))

Voldemort thought for a second.

"I believe Erin Rosier has been wanting something to do, he assist you"

Viper nodded in agreement and smiled, kissing Voldemort gently on the cheek. "Thank you, my lord. You are most kind and generous."

Removing his wand Voldemort aimed it at Viper.

"Careful my dear should you fail i will not be so "kind"

Viper stared at Voldemort in suprise, but instead of shaking with fear, she smiled softly and curseyed, kissing the hand that held his wand boldly. "All the more reason for me to excel in this task."

"Indeed. Return to Hogwarts and begin our plans." He tucked his wand back into his pocket and held out the vial of excessum. "Take this. I wish to know what makes it."

Viper took the vial at hand and examined it briefly. "It's doubly based, more than one hand mixed it. (Eglantine's father originally gave it to her, right?) It will take longer to dissect it, most likely a week. But by the looks of the composition, she was a bit careless in terms of the amount of each ingredient used, almost as though she was experimenting. I'd be able to tell you what she used, but not the exact amount."

"That is acceptable. Perhaps later I will be able to see her memories of making excessum." He smiled as he projected horrible images into Professor DeLanquar's mind. In time he would break the wards she still used to protect her memories and deepest thoughts.

Viper smiled and caressed his cheek gently. "Very well, my lord. If you dismiss me, then I shall take my leave." she curtseyed.

"You are dismissed." And as if he had forgotten about her, Voldemort swept out of the room. Vivian Rosier entered the room and began to clean up, removing the sheets and blankets. Her eyes locked onto Viper and she smirked at her.
"Few women make such impressions." she remarked. "You have great skill." It was neither an insult nor a complement; Vivian meant it to be observation and nothing more.

Viper raised an eyebrow at the other woman. She didn't like her before and she definately didn't like her now. There was just something about her that got to Viper. "Indeed. However that skill does not extend to housework. That appears to be your forte and the only thing you are good for, so do as you are bid and clean up my lord's bedchamber." she said coldly as she exited her room. "And tell your first born to come to my manor. My lord informs me that he is in need of a task and is willing to assist me."

Outside the room and away from prying eyes, Viper stared down the hall where Voldemort was walking down. Sighing, she leaned against the wall and closed her eyes, wondering what happened to the tender attentions he had showered upon her earlier, whose absence only fueled her desire to please him in her next task.

Vivian Rosier finished cleaning the bedroom within minutes and then left the room to summon Erin. Her son did not even need to be told where to go, as he had heard Viper speak to his mother.

"What does our lord desire?" he asked, approaching Viper as one would approach an unknown adversary. He shared his younger brother's dislike of Severus, but hated the idea that the position once offered to his sister might fall into the vixen's claws.

Viper broke from her reverie, startled at the unknown voice. Hastily, she straightened her posture and appearance and turned to the wizard beside her.

"Good evening, Erin." she said nodding her greetings. "Our lord desires that you help me get to Surrey and fetch my sister." she met his eyes. "My disowned sister." she said, using her eyes to help him fully understand what she requsted of him.

Erin crossed his thin arms and if it was possible deepened his frown. "Whenever you are ready." he stated.

Viper stiffened. Clearly Erin had a problem with her and she highly doubted it was purely because she had snapped at his mother. Remebering her lord's words to her earlier on deception she graced her face with her courier smile. "You will, of course, be receiving some compensation for your generosity."

(ooh, just read the little bit on Bella. So who is it Voldie really wants?)

(Well...he of course makes a million promises to a million people... and Bella caught his eye because she is 1...pretty...2...shares the name of his last "dedicated" servant and 3...she is intelligent. But Viper has a better chance at getting him than Bella)

"Compensation is unnecessary." His voice lacked emotion and his eyes dulled. "I do not share Corin's lust for flesh or my father's desire for power. The sooner we fulfill our master's wishes, the sooner I may continue with my work."

(ah,ok. i was wondering if the bella rosier-bella lestrange was on purpose.)


She covered her frame with her cloak once more, raising an eyebrow as she finished. "I was under the impression you were assisting me because you have nothing to do. But if you truly feel that way about a small gift of thanks so be it. I suppose I shall have to take care of that blood traitor's muggle husband myself." she said, watching him to see if her words had any effect on him.

Erin just stared at her. Then with grace that belied his thin frame, he pulled a cloak from a hanger and draped it over his shoulders.
"Shall I kill him or distract him?" He asked, as if wondering about how to prepare a meal.

Viper shrugged gracefully as if she was a customer at a restaurant being asked how she wanted her steak prepared. "Oh, I'm not picky. He's all your's. As I said, he is my gift to you to express my gratitude for your generosity." She smiled at the younger wizard's changed attitude. "Are you all set?"

"Indeed." and he headed for the door without looking back.

Viper knocked on the entrance to Rosier Mansion, rolling her eyes at some of the comments her Uncle was making.

"This is Rosier Mansion? Sweet Merlin, out of all the places for the Dark Lord...For shame, Amaranth, why did you not offer Viper Manor?"

Viper sighed exasperately. "Uncle, really! Leave it be. If the Dark Lord wishes to use Viper Manor he will command it." she stated, mentally willing the door to be open faster so sge would not be subject to her Uncle's nagging comments much longer.

Severus Rosier opened the door and held it open for her. "We have been expecting you." he drawled, obviously unhappy about something.

Viper nodded, wondering what had Severus in such a foul mood, knowing that it probably wasn't merely her presence irritating him.

Viper entered the mansion cautiously as Maximus nodded his acknowledgment and greeting and followed.
