Flying creatures/people only please...

Is the beautiful view worth death? ...Rhetorical question. Dying means paperwork and paperwork means papercuts...which we, the management, do not like!

Yes, this is a sky. Therefore it has no floor and nothing much to stand on. In fact, nothing to stand on. So unless you have wings, or magical flying abilities, or brooms, or a very long sky hook, it is requested you remain on the ground.

Mostly because it can get messy when you fall a few hundred metres.

And someone has to clear up.

So, please. Bear the poor cleaners in mind.

Please note: We take no responsibility for any falls, injuries from such falls, death from such falls, mess from said falls, general destruction from these falls, or the traumatisation of any witnesses who witnessed a certain fall which may or may not have been messy. Anyone crashing into another person without good reason (i.e. not because you don't like mondays) shall be shunned. If/When they later fall/get pushed from a broom/creature/fool, there shall be no enquiry.

Graham swooped out of the castle, and caught a breeze, sending him high into the brightness of the sky. Ah, it had been to long.

He soared effortlessly, as he pondered the mysteries and complexities of human existence...

If only he had a fellow creature to discuss such matters with...

Persephone was flying in the sky when she noticed Graham.

"Hello..." Graham nodded slightly distractedly to the flying horse.

Snapping his mind out of the current debate that was raging thtough his mind...What is it that bonds humans to animals...He smiled, in an eagle-like way.

"Lovely day isn't it? I can't believe how long it's been since I felt the wind through my feathers...Hang on, you're an aethanon aren't you? Pleasure to meet you! I am Graham."

"Pleasure," Persephone said. "I am called Persephone."

"A beautiful name...This may be a somewhat random question...but have you ever contemplated the subject of human existence?"

Graham asked, noticing a gaggle of laughing hufflepuffs walk past, far below.

"Always," Persephone said. "Everytime I see a human."

Graham laughed.

"It is fascinating though, how they treat us like they are more important, and then go walk into a wall or some other idiotic pursuit. Although it is annoying when you're on their shoulder at the time. Then it's just uncalled for."

"I don't know why your complaining, Graham, at least they don't ride you," Persephone said.

"True, that must be annoying. You could always accidently throw them from a great height...Say they fell off or something." He chuckled.

"But humans are very strange creatures...How they've survived this long is truly beyond me. They defend themselves with sticks! It's...well, it's just odd."

"For sticks, those things are rather powerful." Persephone said shaking her head.

"Annoyingly so..." Graham agreed. "But without them, they are pretty helpless."

"I wouldn't go as far to say that," Persephone said. "They are powerful... do not underestimate the humans."

"Hm...maybe we have had different experiences of humans. Mine is..."

Graham thought for a moment. "He's odd. And doesn't look where he's going."

"Ah, I think I have met that one." Persephone said. "The boy called Darien Viaght, right."

"Yes..." Graham laughed. "I hope he did not offend you."

"Which one is your human? I may know of them..."

"Nicolas Casillas," Persephone said. "Oh he did not harm me much, but some claws on the boy."

"Ah, Darien rants about him quite a bit. Never met him myself though."

"I do apologise, my human has...issues." Graham rolled his eyes.

"That he does," Persephone agreed. "Of course, mine does too sometimes."

Graham laughed. "Humans are pretty crazy."

"Which is what makes them even more intriguing..."

"Indeed, interesting speices to observe." Persephone replied.

"Yes...They are indeed. The way they all behave around each other, it's quite amusing how evident some emotions are, whilst some can look as emotionless as death...Tis truly fascinating."

"Yes, truly." Persephone replied. "And how some of them can be so cruel."

"Yes...There are so many sides and ends of the spectrum. Some are crueler than nature herself, and yet others revere all life...Truly strange."

"Indeed." Persephone. "If you don't mind, I'm going to land there, there's a bit of grass there that's looking particularly delicious."
