Random Halls in Hogwarts

Kiara sighed as she walked through the halls, yet another sleepless night.

She had the nightmare again and it prevented her from sleep, everytime she closed her eyes she would see someone she cared about dead, because of her. The images were almost etched in her mind she couldn't shake them.

Leaning on a wall she closed her eyes briefly and a images entered her mind again, Eglantine, Sevastyan, Viper, Juria, Horatio all of them dead.

Jerking her eyes opened she shook her head and continued walking, barely blinking away tears.

Horatio carried Eglantine down the hallway, stopping when he saw a student hurry across the corridor. Going up against the wall, he was just hidden by the shadows for the student to not see the two professors.

"He's gone..." Eglantine whispered. Horatio grinned in the dark, his eyes lighting up like coals.
"I know." his eyebrows danced up to his hair line.

"Oh stop it, silly." Eglantine muttered, turning to glance down the hallway. She turned back to see if Horatio still had that silly grin on his face. Eglantine never found out, as he kissed her soundly as she turned.

All thoughts gone from her mind, she wrapped her arms around his neck and deepened the kiss, oblivious to the fact that Horatio was not longer hidden in the shadows.

Kiara was walking through the halls thinking about the un coming yule ball and petting Lav who rode on her shoulder .

However rounding the corner she stopped in her tracks.

She saw Horatio and Eglantine kissing, feeling very awkward she attemptied to back up with out making any sound, to leave two in peace.

However Lav had other plans... being the little trouble maker she was she jumped off Kiara's shoulder.

Kiara went to tell the trould some kitten to get back that minute but then she would be discovered for sure.

Lav ran over to the kissing pair and rumbed her self againts Horatio's leg.

Kiara blushed she would be discovered for sure...as she had back up in to a wall.

Horatio was yanked roughly from his heaven by a cat's head up against his leg. Nearly dropped Eglantine, he chuckled nervously, noticing Kiara.
"Hello, my dear." he stated cheerfully, finding it hilarious that Eglantine paled and buried her face in his robes.

Kiara was blushing feriously as she looked down" Umm hello Horatio... Eglantine... umm I was just leaveing sorry to umm walk in.. hehe" she said nerously backed up.

"Lav you trouble making kitty get back here"

Lav how ever would not move...

Eglantine took a deep breath before turning to look at Kiara.

"It is quite all right, Kiara." she muttered. What else did one say after being caught kissing in a deserted hallway? At least it had not been a student or Viper...she shuddered at the thought of what remarks might have passed Viper's crimson lips.

"Nice kitty. Go back to your owner." Horatio whispered.

Kiara sighed when Lav refused to move yet again despite Horatio's nudging. Really it was awkward enough catching the two people she saw as parents, Real parents and her silly fun loving cat wouldn't let her leave. Plus she had no idea what to say. She was happy for Eglantine and Horatio yes, couldn't be more.

She made a move to pick her kitten up, but Lav seemed to think it was a game and ran over to Eglantine.

"Really Lav....?"

Sighing again he waved her hand and levitated Lav into her arms.

Then looking at Eglantine and Horatio she gave them a smile....

"I am glad for both of you really I am"

"Thank you, Kiara." Horatio stated happily. The entire situation could have been worse and he had always enjoyed a bit of humour. Eglantine however did not find the situation humorous. Twisting slightly, despite the wave of pain that erupted due to the motion, she forced Horatio to release her. Levitating herself inches above the floor, she sighed.

"Nothing happened here." she stated, although her eyes were sparkling. Horatio bowed deeply.
"Your wish is my command, my dear."

((Sometime in December... shortly after Sevastyan tells Boris about Dmitri's death))

Boris had run... limped, really, as the bones in his leg hadn't fully mended yet... through the castle as fast as he could. He didn't want to talk to his cousin. How could the man even think Boris was ready to see what he'd allowed him to see?! The image of his brother's mangled form would be forever seared into his memory...

And why was Sevastyan coming to him with this news? Unless Boris's own father really did want him to see. But that would make it true... It couldn't be true! Vastyan had lied to him in the past - why couldn't this be a lie, too?!

The Russian teen had no real idea where he was going; just that he was walking. Occasionally he turned down a different corridor, but other then that just kept on going. It wasn't until he'd walked off about half of his anger that Boris realized that he was now very much lost. And this corridor seemed very much deserted.

With a heavy sigh, the young man approached a nearby window and surveyed the snowy quidditch pitch. He vaguely wondered if his cousin was still outdoors, or if he'd reported Boris's running off to his Headmaster. Thankfully, Kazimir would be understanding, considering the source this information came from. The Headmaster had drilled it into his head that Sevasatyan Kaminski - family or no family - was a traitor to Durmstrang. Though, Boris really wasn't quite sure why... the job Sevastyan wanted was here, and he wasn't allowed to teach at Durmstrang because he'd been friends with Petrov... but Boris wasn't about to delve too deeply into school politics.

In fact, Boris really didn't want to delve too deeply into anything...

......... and yet here he stood, like a statue: lost in thought.

Becca ran to Raven when she saw her and ran up to her and asked "Hey can you take me to get some butterbeer I want to try some."

Raven saw Becca walk up next to her and was kind of annoyed, "Sure, why not," she replied not looking at Becca, "Follow me."

They walked to the The Three Broomsticks cafe to get some drinks and relax.

Taylor saw Raven and ran towards her, "Raven, I got the most awesome prank! Take me to the infirmary!" he said excitedly.

Raven laughed, she new the pranking had started, "Ok come on." She lead him to the infirmary.

Miranda walked briskly through the halls with a light smile upon her face: cheerful and serene, yet not wide enough to appear creepy and insane. She nodded and greeted the passing students, politely and brightly, pleased to see her cheerful demeanor brought a smile on quite a few of the students faces...

...and a face she knew quite well for it was startlingly similar to that of her late husband and oldest son.

"D-Dracovan!" she gasped, her hand flying to her chest as breathing became more and more difficult.

Dracovan raised an eyebrow in response to the older woman's fright. He had left his sisters chambers where he was currently residing to explore the area, become reaquainted with Hogwarts, only to find his prescence bringing one of the staff an inch closer to death. Surely my prescence isn't that bothersome...? he thought to himself.

"I'm sorry, have we met?" he asked puzzled.

But instead of answering, Miranda turned 90 degrees, racing down the hall, still gasping for breath, even moreso now, leaving a bewildered wizard behind in her wake.

Kiara walked through the halls of the old school intending on going to the Great hall.

When she was nearly ran into by a frantic Miranda. She quickly swerved out of the way so not crash into her.

"Miranda?! what is wrong?" she called out, then she caught sight of a man she had to do a double take to recognise.

"Merlin......." she whispered and her face paled as if she saw a ghost of someone she knew, from her point of veiw she had.

"Dracovan Viper? is that you?" she said with a still stunned tone in her voice.

While Dracovan stared at the older woman's fleeing form, completely puzzled, he heard a female voice call his name. He glanced up, noticing a rather stunned witch in front of him. One he had no recollection of...

"Dracovan Viper? is that you?"

Please don't be an old girlfriend I can't remember, Please please please! he mentally pleaded. After all, he had been a rather wild rascal, especially when he was a teenager! There was no way to say for sure how this woman was connected to him, although he was wishing for the best...

"Um, hello." he offered a small smile. "I don't mean to be rude, but... have we met?"

Kiara blinked and looked very confused, last she saw of Dracovan Viper was being turned to dust by Eglantine when she had been taken over by Cerise.

"Eglantine must have brought him back, that is the only explantion" she thought.

She looked a bit apprehansive as she answered, after all this man tried to kill Edwin.. she wasn't sure how to reaspond to this.

"Yes we have met, you came here looking looking for your sister after you escaped from Azkaban.... don't you remember?" she asked

Dracovan raised an eyebrow. Azkaban? He remembered a few things, here and there, mostly dementors... But that was it. He didn't even remember how he escaped!

"No, sorry, I don't... May I ask for your name?" with a frowned pause he added "Again."

Kiara looked at him in disbelief, he didn't remember? of course a part of her didn't trust him, not one bit, but she didn't let it show. She would most deffibatly talking to Eglantine later find out what the deal was. For now she would play along.

She raised her eye brow, "Kiara... Delanquar" she paused for a moment. "Headmistress of Hogwarts, So... when did you get back here?"

Dracovan nodded, still a bit suspicious over the look of disbelief on the witch's face. "Hard to say, exactly. It's difficult to say one is back when they aren't exactly sure where they were in the first place. I suppose a few days would be the best answer."

Kiara nodded "I see, so you don't remember anything about your time her at Hogwarts before...." it was not a question.

"Must be.... disconcering....." she said, she decided he didn't know he had died and was confused as to how he even got here.

"So will you be staying here for a while? or...." said not really knowing what to say to the elder Viper who she had know to be dead up until two minutes ago.

Dracovan slowly shook his head. "Other than my days as a Hogwarts lad, no."

He shrugged in response to Kiara's question, not too sure on his decision. After all, technically he was either considered dead or Ministry bait so it was quite difficult to plan ahead with those circumstances. "Not too sure, actually. Probably not too much longer. After all," he grinned. "I'd hate to stick around my sister's place too long. Three's a crowd." he snickered.

"Ah no doubt you have meet Sevastyan then, yes I can understand that" she said with a nod.

"I can give you guest quarters until you know what you are doing if you like?" she offered. Feeling a incredible sense of deja ve.

Dracovan smiled and nodded. "Yeah, nice bloke isn't he? I gave him a man-to-man chat when I found out about him and my sister." he chuckled.

"That would be lovely!" he replied with delight. After all, considering the circumstances, it was quite awkward to hang around his sister's quarters for a lengthy period of time. "If it's not too much trouble, of course."

Kiara found Dracovan to be differnet then the last time she met him and not nearly as formal either.

One thing she was relieved about was the fact he wasn't being flirty as he was the first time.. yes that would have been very.. very.. awkward. Plus she still didn't know what to think of the new alive Dracovan Viper.

"Ah I see, isn't is wonderful? May I say I have not seen your sister as happy as she is now with Sevastyan. I am glad they two of you get along" she said with a nod.

"And it is nod trouble at all, Hogwarts has alot of room, plus I know exactly how awkward it is to be around those two love birds.. three is a croud indeed" she said.

"I will arange something for you'
