Avalon Mansion January 2 2019

Amy waited in her room nervously getting ready, her father had been less then happy about Nick coming over, she doubted he would behave himself.

Then again she was nervous Nick would take her fathers bait to.. she had a feeling tonight was going to be.. difficult.

Allan Avalon waited in the kitchen with his wife Melissa... His second daughters new boyfriend was coming over for dinner.

Amy had been hurt by boys before and he had no reason to believe this boy was any better.

"Remind me again why I agree to let her have the boy over?" he asked.

"Because dear, she is your little girl you can't say no to her when she bats her eyes at you" Melissa answered. She had always been the one to mend Amy's broken heart after the boy left her because of her connection to her twin brother. She was willing to see what her daughter saw in the boy... for now.

Aiden sighed, It was going to be a interesting night, and for Amy's sake he hoped it went well.

"How are you doing Ams?" he thought over to her.

"Nervous.." she replied.

"My fingers are crossed for you sis" He thought as he head over to her room to escort her down to the entrance room.

Nicolas was flying over head on Persephone.

"Oh there it is, Amy and Aiden's house." At this Persephone soared down and landed gracefully.

"Thanks Seph," Nicolas said dismounting his winged companion. Persephone for her part, nodded.

"Well, wish me luck." Nicolas grinned, facing the house. "Not that I need it, Parents love me."

Persephone neighed and it sounded a lot like a scoff.

Nicolas looked at her. "Gee thanks for your confidence in me Seph." He said sarcastically, "It really helps."

"Well I better go in now." Nicolas said taking a few cubes of sugar out off his pocket and feeding it to Persephone. He stroked her gently. "Don't go too far off, considering what happened last time, we might need to stage a quick exit."

With a neigh that Nicolas always took as an affirmative, Persephone took flight.

"Here I go." And Nicolas rang the door bell.

Amy quickened her pace to the door, noticing her father go for it.

"I got it Daddy" she said grabbing the handle

Allan frowned but turned around and went back to the kitchen.

Amy opened the door to find Nick. "Nick come in.... just in time" she said. standing as side to let him in.

"You will meet my parents in a moment... just please.. please been nice, they are not happy tonight" she said.

"Not happy tonight?" Nicolas said stepping inside but not before giving her a quick peck. "And why is that?"

"Because you are here" Aiden supplied.

Amy glared at Aiden, "Really Aiden... use your manners" she said as she hugged Nick she was so nervous, hugging him helped her feel at little better.

"Oh, well then," Nicolas said with a raised eye-brow. "In that case, I'm glad to be here."

Amy pulled away, "Alright umm Nick you should now, that I have had 2 other boyfriends over in the past and well.... both kinda hurt me so... Mom and dad are just.. um lets say a bit unsure of what to.." Amy was interrupted when her farther entered the hall.

"Think about you.." he finished glaring at Nick.

Amy looked nervous again, "Daddy this is Nicolas Casillas, Nick the is my father Allan Avalon"

"Hello Senor," Nicolas squared his shoulders and offered a hand for Allan Avalon to shake.

Allan went to shake Nick's hand, and held it in a firm grip. "Pleasure..." he said though it was obvious in his voice the meeting was anything but a pleasure.

"You may call me Mr. Avalon" he said.

Amy sighed and blushed, "Daddy please you promised you would be nice"

"I am being nice sweetheart" he said still glaring at Nick. "So how old are you Mr, Casillas?" he asked.

Melissa rolled her eyes, "starting the interrogation already Dear?" she asked, it was easy to see the Malfoy in Mrs. Avalon the Light blond hair and gray blue eyes.

Nicolas raised his eye brow. "Alright, Mr. Avalon."

"It's alright, Mrs. Avalon, I don't mind. I've got nothing to hide." Nicolas smiled at Amy. "I'm seventeen."

Amy held her breath and looked at her father pleadingly..

However Allan over looked his daughters look. "What are your intentions? You know of her and her brothers connection?" he asked.

Nicolas looked at Mr. Avalon. "My intentions?" Nicolas frowned. "I'm not sure I know what you mean... and as for the connection. Yes, I do know about that."

Malissa blinked, "And you don't care about it?" she asked surprised.

"Lissa?" Allan questioned.

Melissa raised her hand to silence him, it was obvious she didn't need magic to silence her husband.

“Well I find it slightly inconvenient..." Nicolas said honestly. "I mean when we go on dates, Aiden here, tags along... can be slightly awkward at times, especially when I kiss - well we can't be alone..."

Nicolas stopped talking and gulped. Well that wasn't really the best thing to say.

Amy blushed and hit herself in the forehead as she cautiously looked at her parents. Her mother... well of anything her mother looked shocked, yet amused at Nicks honest answer. Her father however was turning and nice shade of red and looked be about to shout or yell something but couldn't get the words out.

"Daddy, breath.. I am turning 16 this year, I am not a little girl any more..." she said trying to make her father see reason.

However it did no good as Allan ignored his daughter and seemed to be debating punching Nick.

Melissa, seeing her husband about to blow quickly took charge, "Come Dear, we must get the table ready... Dinner is almost done" she said nudging his arm away from Nick.

Allan seemed to calm down a little bit but he still shot daggers at him, "I swear if I ever find out you have.." he was abruptly cut off by Melissa for a shot while.

"Yes.. yes we know you'll kill him" she said as she started pulling her husband away from the children towards the kitchen.

With on last glare at Nick Allan and Melissa vanished in to the kitchen.

Amy had since moved to the nearest wall and was tapping her head against it.

"You are bloody lucky Mother seems to like you Casillas" Aiden muttered. " Dad looked like he was gonna punch ya"

"Yes well... I seem to appeal to the female population, more than the male portion." Nicolas muttered.

He took a deep breath, "I think that went well, don't you?"

Aiden looked to Amy who was still tapping her head on the wall. "Ummm.. I am not so sure"

Amy sighed, "Nick... you are just make things worse on us, my father won't trust you a wink now... you know that?" she said finally stopping tapping her head and walking over to Nick.

She was about to hug him when her mother walked back in to the room.

"Amy Honey... I wouldn't if I were you, your father is about to blew a gasket" she said quietly, "Dinner will be ready soon, Nicolas do you have any preference for drink?" she asked.

"Why?" Nicolas said. "Isn't it a good thing your brother can trail us... well from your father's perspective anyway since Aiden can make sure we are good little boys and girls?"

That was before Mrs. Avalon entered.
To her question, he answered. "Not at all," Nicolas said easily.
