Voldemort hissed in anger as the real Kiara bounded into the room, transforming from a black panther and his forced-bonded partner threatened his life by raising a knife to her throat, in shaking hands, much to his fear.

"This will end him." Eglantine stated, her voice level.

Viper had followed Eglantine from the office and was torn at the sight in front of her, unsure of who to assist. Biting her lip nervously, she pushed past Kiara towards Eglantine.

"Professor Delanquar! Please don't this!" she said softly. "Don't let him win! Not this way!" she leaned closer to whisper in her ear. "Your life is more valuable. Break the bond, seperate you two. He'll lose everything, including his immortality and youth. Please, trust me..."

"How can he win if I kill him? It would be fitting. He will die just as he tried to gain life." Eglantine pressed the sharp metal against her skin, but still kept from slitting her major artery.

"I will find another way to return." Voldemort hissed. "Your logic is flawed. Just as you nephew's and your sister-in-law's."

Gasping for a breath Kiara stated.

"Viper... is right Eglantine... Don't do this. there is a better way. Please don't do this"

Viper placed her hand over the blade. "No it wouldn't be fitting! Hogwarts would lose a great Professor and this murderer wouldn't get the death he deserves!" Viper's eyes filled with tears, for she had taken quite a liking to the older Professor. Especially after the incident with the boggart.

"I am only one person." Eglantine whispered. Tears were forming in her eyes from the pain she was sending to Voldemort and from the thought that she would actually be missed.
"Tom Riddle, you are bound to me by use of Excessum, my father's and my creation. Therefore I call upon the spirits that have given you life to end it and return to me the force that they have divided. I offer my life in exchange for this procedure."

Both Eglantine and Voldemort began to glow with white light and a disembodied voice that sounded a great deal like Eglantine's began to mutter various unknown incantations.

Images flashed around them as they were lifted into the air. There was a image of a small girl with blonde hair playing with a younger boy; the same girl older now experimenting with obviously dangerous magic; a muggle auto accident; an older wizard giving something to Eglantine; Eglantine finishing Excessum by offering it a piece of her very soul and then Voldemort taking it. The images began to flash to brightly to be seen and then with a blinding burst of light both Voldemort and Eglantine DeLanquar were consumed in brilliant light.

((Note-it is not over yet...there will just be a moment of struggle))

Viper watched in amazement of the scenes coming to play, her wand resting tightly on her wand under her cloak, should the need occur. She bit her lip nervously, for fear of the outcome.

Kiara watched awe struck as at the miraculus site before her.

"Would it work the way they wanted it to?" she thought

Edmund Rosier flattened himself against the wall. He was confused and troubled at seeing himself in what obviously were his sister's most important memories.

A beam of light appeared in the centre of the room and the walls shook as if a raging battle between forces was taking place. Finally after several minutes, the light faded and in its place Eglantine DeLanquar appeared with a child in her arms.

As soon as her feet touched the floor, she collapsed and the child, a boy roughly 2 or 3 began to cry.

Viper gaped at the sight of Voldemort turned into a child. "Holy F******* Circe," she breathed out, frozen by the shock of the sight.

Briefly, she prayed to Merlin and Circe that she wouldn't have to be the one to take care of him. Children and Viper didn't clash too well.

Kiara went to Eglantine and the boy's side.

Checking Eglantine's pulse she sighed in relief when she found one. Looking over at the boy she asked.

"Is that who I think it is?"

Eglantine lifted her head and nodded, drawing the child into her arms as he began to ask where his mother was.
"Obviously the spirits found a more fitting punishment for the dark lord than killing him. Perhaps this time, he might grow up differently."

Kiara smiled but let out a caugh her lungs were tighening up again.

Then she remembered they weren't the only ones in the room and turned to Edmund Rosier. She moved in front of Eglantine and the now innocent Tom Riddle and aimed her wand in front of her.

"Well what do you plan to do now? now that your lord is no longer a dark lord hmm?"

Edmund recovered from his shock much faster than expected. "My sons and I will go to Germany." he stated, clearly wanting nothing more to do with the whole situation. "I have lost my wife and son, please let me go." His fingers curled around his wand, but he did not pull it out.

Ana edged out of the room, unsure what she was going to do.
Noone seemed to know she was involved...
Silently, she turned and began to run, still hidden behind the disillusionment charm. Back to Hogwarts.

She hated it when Darien was right...

All of Kiara's Auror beliefs were demanded she arest him right them and there, but she was in no condition to fight or chase after someone. She could hardly breath right now as it was.

"Fine then go, but hear this if I hear you are reviving more dark lords I will not let you go next time"

Viper met Edmund's eyes, using legilimency to tell him she would be in touch soon.

Turning her attention back to Eglantine and the child Lord Voldemort, she asked. "So what are we to do with Lord Voldemort now? Shall he go into an orphanage?"

((So if Viper used an aging potion on Voldie, would he still have all his memories? or is it like starting over?))

Kiara looked at Viper in shock.

"No! Do you want history to repeat it's self" letting out a cough she turned to Eglantine.

"He needs a Parent, someone to teach him right from wrong so this doesn't happen again......"

She stopped to catch a breath.

"You agree..don't you?"

Viper bit her lip in thought. She knew from previous conversations that Eglantine was not able to have children with her husband, although she would have made a phenomenal mother. However, was Eglantine willing to raise a child that had been the darkest wizard the world has ever seen?

Turning her attention back to Eglantine, she waited for the older woman's answer.

((It is starting over...))

Eglantine looked down at the tear filled eyes of the young boy. He had wrapped his small arms around her and was holding on for dear life.

"I agree." she whispered. "What will the ministry say?"

((So the 'Voldemort is back' reign is over?))

Viper shrugged. "What can they say? You saved their world, Professor. To say it frankly, you own them!"

((I suppose so...but that does not mean that everything settles down...as in the Rosier are alive, Viper is alive... along with the Vaights and everyone else...))

"He is about 2 years old, with no memory of his adult self or life." Eglantine offered, looking at Kiara.
