Amy and Aiden stood in them middle of a stage. Aiden sat at the piano and Amy held on to a Violin.

"So which one will it be today sis?" asked Aiden.

"You pick i will jump in"

"Alright", said he stared playing the piano.

Suddenly Artemis the owl flew in and dropped a letter on the piano. Then she perched herself on Aiden's head.

Aiden lifted his eyes up at the bird on his head.

"Do you mind? Do I look like a perch?" he asked as he lifted his arm for the owl to perch on instead.

Amy llooked at the letter on the piano and picked it up. Silently laughing at Aiden new friend as he tried ot persuaed it off his head.

"Hoo, hoo!" Artemis replied to Aiden and flew to his arm.

The letter read,

Amy,

Here is a few boxes of chocolate. Aiden has a box for himself, since I'm technically dating him too.

Meet me the Grounds for our next date.

Amy laughed.

Aiden sighed, "From lover boy hub? Must beonly his owl would oertch on my head'

"Want to go to the grounds? you can bring you broom or something"

Aiden nodded "I need to study more spells on tranfiguration s for the duel soon anyway"

"Thanks Aiden lets go" she said grbing her Viiolin and off she went.

Artemis hooted and flew back to the Owlry.

The room of requirement’s setting for a place where one may come and practice or perform musical pieces was rather impressive, Sevastyan couldn’t help but mentally point out to himself. Seeing as how it tailored itself according to the user, and the user had not yet made it clear to anyone here that he played an instrument, it wasn’t really that much of a surprise to find that the room’s recent alteration was rather modest. In fact, it even had a familiar feel to it: almost like the family room of the Kaminski Mansion, only without any connotations of Dark Magic having been practiced alongside instrumental ensembles.

Exploring the room, Sevastyan found precisely what he was looking for: a seven-stringed guitar, with distinctive markings and shape that made it a Russian make. He had one just like it in his personal quarters, but deliberately hadn’t brought it with him to see if the room would indeed facilitate the user with whatever they required.

Without any coaxing, the professor sat upon the cushioned seat and attempted to find the key the instrument was in. To his increased surprise he found it was already tuned in the Russian manner. With a smile he began to play and became so engrossed with the song his attention completely evaporated from everything, the only exceptions being the instrument and the resulting music.

Eglantine entered the room, her wheelchair making no sound as it hovered over the smooth stone.

She had been hoping to find someone in the room, since it had been designated a "music-practice" place. However instead of finding several students practicing various instruments, Eglantine had surprisingly found Professor Kaminski playing his guitar.

The music he was playing sounded lovely and soothing and thus she simply remained silent. Listening to the strumming was a wonderful break from the usual screams and chatter of her students.

When Sevastyan finished he looked up briefly and realized he unknowingly had an audience. Smiling congenially to the Professor, Sevastyan stood and bowed slightly to her. The strap on the guitar made certain the instrument would not crash to the floor.

"Good day, Professor. I did not even hear you come in," he greeted her. "I vos expecting to find at least a few students here practicing, vot vith all of this at their disposal." At the word 'this' he indicated to all of the instruments and related equipment.

Eglantine nodded. "I was expecting the same." she paused. "You play very well." There was a great deal of admiration in her voice. "How did you learn?"

"Vy ((why)), thank you, Professor," Sevastyan grinned at the compliment. "My Grandfather Kaminski vos a musician in his day, and declared to my father, 'So long as I live there vill never be a Kaminski that doesn't know how to play an instrument!' Ve got to choose vich instrument ve learned, so I chose the guitar," he explained.

"Vould you like to hear another?" he offered.

"Yes, please." Eglantine smiled. She moved her wheelchair a bit closer and folded her hands in her lap.

Sevastyan felt his smile widen as he sat back down and got comfortable once again. For a few seconds his fingers danced around the fretboard for to warm up slightly. He glanced back to Eglantine briefly before focusing once again on the guitar and playing the next melody that came to mind...

Eglantine sighed and closed her eyes, listening to the fellow professor play. He was a very talented musician. She had been to a Russian Ballet once when her family had lived in Russia; but the musics were different.

"Do you play an instrument, Professor?" Sevastyan asked as he reached the end of the melody.

Eglantine opened her eyes.
"Yes. I do." she muttered, her smile fading quickly. "However I am unable to play it, due to my hands."

"I should not have brought it up," Sevastyan suggested by way of apology. Though his words hadn't specified it, the tone was right on. He hoped that his playing wasn't making her feel bad about not being able to take up her instrument, and without thinking strummed into another song.

"No!" Eglantine stated, listening to the next piece. "It is fine. Perhaps it is best that I cannot play. I never played well."

"What is its name?" she asked. Her father had listened to a great deal of music and she had memorized countless songs and pieces.

Sevastyan nodded, still playing. He had no idea how to respond to the opinions of her own music playing, for he had not heard it for himself. Therefore, the professor didn't want to judge here nor there in the decision of who did or did not play well.

"This song is called Zhalobno Stonet Vyeter Osenniy. In English, one vould translate it as 'Sorrowfully Moans the Autumn Vind'. It is Old Russian," he kindly explained. "My Grandfather did not like the new music of the generation, and hence ve learned these older pieces."

"I see. It is lovely." She sighed. "My nephew plays the guitar as well. But mainly modern pieces. It is rather difficult to listen to his music." She winced as she remembered her nephew's electric guitar's squeals and whimpers. The first time she had heard him play, she had been tempted to ask him if it was tuned correctly.

"Thank you," he replied with a nod while continuing to play.

A chuckle of sorts escaped Sevastyan in response to hearing about the professor's nephew. "Because of the style?" he inquired, though withheld the fact that he too had relatives that played that type of music as well.

"Personally, I don't mind the modern pieces, but I am grateful to have learned vot I have," Sevastyan admitted. He didn't mention that he had attempted to play songs of the modern era, with a different guitar obviously, mostly because he felt he wasn't very good at playing them. Classics and Folk songs, however - that was another story.

"If you can call it a style." Eglantine returned. "It sounded a great deal like a dying dog." After a brief moment of thought, she sighed.

"I do not mind modern music, as long as it does not break my ear drums."

Upon reaching the last few notes of the melody, the pair of heavy brows above Sevastyan's gray eyes rose with a semblance of amusement at the description of Professor DeLanquar's nephew's music. Any comments he might have had remained locked up within his head, for Sevastyan did not want to take the chance of offending his colleague, unlikely as it was.

Her next comment earned a peculiar smile from him. It was peculiar because, though it clearly reached his eyes, there was also an air of chagrin about such a countenance. Sevastyan didn't think it prudent to recite the anecdote of how a weekend at Durmstrang Institute wasn't a weekend without at least three professors magically forcing their way into the boys' dorms to find the source of some incredibly loud music; music being played by a group of rambunctious youngsters that just happened to include Sevastyan at its core.

"Then you vould probably like this one - it's a favorite of my mother's. Though, I don't believe it is exactly 'modern'..." he trailed off, slowly working his way into the next tune. It was actually quite a lot of fun playing for someone here at Hogwarts instead of being off on his own, he concluded.

Eglantine smiled. "Time in a Bottle." she muttered. Her father had actually played the piece for her once.

She did notice that the fellow professor's smile seemed rather unusual. Thinking she had perhaps accidentally offended him, she frowned. Apparently even without being possessed, she still could not hold a decent conversation.
