The Park

Kiara smiled "All things concidered, pretty good. haven't run into Lashanra..." she stopped and looked around. "Or Cashmere..." she said with a laugh.

"Talked with Ana Vaight, I hope she realizes what she got herself into"

Looking at Viper she asked "Have you heard from her father yet?"

Viper shook her head. "No, I haven't." she sighed. "What do we do about Ana? She's advanced for her age and talented, to be sure. But when you think about Kazimir and Lasharna...they're going to push the limits, not holding anything back. And considering Ms.Lasharna's previous encounters with Ana and the fact that her mother's, well, you've met her. We can expect something from them, all of them really."

Kiara nodded "Yes I know, I don't think Lasharna would doing anything to hurt Ana just because she is the second champion. She will want to see her punished yes, hiting she will spread whatever trouble she can for Ana, and discredit Hogwarts. And Kazimir, I have threat over his head, he could lose his school if he so much as lifts a finger to anyone. But like lashanra with try to cause as much damage as he can without phicially hurting some one. Things may get difficult later once the first task starts"

"Is it absolutely necessary for both Heads to stay here? Hogsmeade has lovely little inns and hotels." Viper suggested with a smile

Kiara smiled and shook her head, "as a tempting as offer as it is to banish them Viper I can't there would be a up rowr. I would casue more trouble then they are worth"

"So other then the annoying Heads what on your mind?" Kiara asked

Viper shrugged at Kiara's reponse and shook her head. "Nothing really. Just worried about Ms.Vaight."

Kiara nodded, "As am I, I will do my best to keep Kazimir and Lasharna off her back, but she did pass the exam aswell as the others...."

Juria had no idea what was going on but just stayed out of the way of the conversation. She thought to herself as they talked, "I need to get out of the Infirmary more often."

Kiara turned to Juria and explained "A under age witch was selected to compete in the triwizard tournanment, it is creating a big scandal here plue her being a 4th champion make thing even more difficult the other schools arn't to happy about it"

Juria's eyes widened,

"How on earth did she get in?"

Juria was aware of the rules of the Tournament, and the spell protection should have made her able not to get in.

"She might get extremely hurt!"

Kiara entered the Park and turned to Tav "This place I find is a good substitute for the forbidden forest... only no dangerous animals" she said with a smile.

"Well unless you count my cat.. she likes claiming trees" she laughed.

"You have a cat? What's...um...her?...name?" he asked rather careful about whether it was male or female.

Kiara smiled and nodded " Laverne, I call her Lav for short though it is what she responds to the most now" she said.

"She is in my quarters at the moment though"

Sevastyan was taking a peaceful walk through the park, sandalwood staff in hand, for relaxation's sake. Unfortunately he was very much alone. Amaranth Viper entirely encompassed his thoughts... particularly the surprise party he was arranging with Kiara's help. Sevastyan wasn't sure if anyone else was in on it yet...

That was about when he'd heard two voices nearby. Glancing up from the path he was contemplating as he walked, Sevastyan spotted the familiar form of Kiara and... well, the not-so-familiar form of a young boy of - he assumed - around eight or nine years. The three of them weren't quite within hearing distance yet, but Sevastyan at least pinned a smile onto his features.

"Lav? I like it. Cool name." Tav exclaimed. Sliding his hands into his pocket, he pulled out a large frog.
"This is Albus." he stated.

Kiara smiled "Albus, good name" she laughed.

The she glanced around and her smile widened "Ah Sevestyan, fancy meeting you here" she called out.

Turning to Tav she said "Come on let me introduce you to a friend of mine" she said with a smile.

"Alvays happy to see you as vell, Kiara," Sevastyan called in return, having already decided to see if the pair wouldn't mind a third person being added to their party.

He was wearing dark blue robes today, with fur lining the lapels and sleeves. Beneath them was a traditional Russian tunic of blue with a red border around the collar, and heavy cotton trousers of a warm brown color. The collar of his robes covered up both sides of his neck.

"And who might this be?" he asked, now in hearing range and gesturing to the boy at her side that was clutching a frog.

"I'm Tavish McConn." Tav stated, offering his hand to the man. He sounded like a foreigner, but having never heard a Russian speak before, Tav had no idea what country he was from. "This is Albus. And it's great to meet you."

Kiara laughed "You as well Sevastyan" she said with a nod.

Turning to Tav she said.
"Tav this is Professor Sevastyan Kaminski, his is the defense against the dark arts professor here

McConn? Sevastyan wondered, curious as to why a boy so young would be here. The closest surname in his memory was McKevin... "A pleasure to meet you, too, Tavish," Sevastyan replied with a friendly air about his voice, his part of the handshake firm but not vice-like. The Russian loved kids. "And Albus, of course," he added, though had gotten the 'u' sound slightly wrong. (('ooh' instead of 'uh'))

"Vot brings the two of you here?" Sevastyan inquired, partially genuinely curious while the other part was attempting to make conversation.

Kiara smiled "Giving Tav a offical tour of Hogwarts, while his father is off doing some seceret mission." she said as she winked at Tav.

Turning to Sevastyan she asked " What about you, out for a walk?"

"Yeah." Tav nodded. "What country are you from and why do you have fuzz on your
coat?" he asked curious.

By Kiara's words, 'Tav' seemed to be a diminutive of 'Tavish'. And a secret mission? That made Sevastyan rather curious. Who was this kid's father? Perhaps in time he would find out... though he had a hard time thinking that the surnames McKevin and McConn were more than just coincidence. At any rate, the Russian nodded his comprehension. "Yes. I thought it vould be good to get out here again soon before the grounds become a snowball var zone..." he laughed.

Kneeling so he was Tav's height, Sevastyan smiled warmly at the lad's double question and laughed lightly at the mention of "fuzz" on his robes. "It is bear's fur..." Sevastyan explained, plucking at the fur on his lapels. "And I come from Russia - a frigid place that even the very ground can be frozen in vinter, vithout the help of snow," Sevastyan continued to elaborate, infusing some fun and mystery into his words. He had been referring to permafrost. "Ve use the fur lining as decoration and as a vay to keep varm."

Kiara smiled at Tav's curiousity and she listened herself to Sevastyans explaination.
It was already quite cold out, she could already see her breath and she was wearing her thickest robes with warming charms. They kept her from freezing but she was always chilli.

"There will be feet of snow on the ground by this time next month..." she stated.

"Do you like snow Tav?" she asked.

"Yeah, snow's fine. My grandparents already have it, ya know." Tav folded his arms. "Do you have McDonalds in Russia?" His mind was already formulating the next blur of questions.
