The Park

"Well, we just got approval not long ago, so we haven't really set up a meeting time yet. But it's going to be different - that's for sure! There'll be games, music obviously, refreshment, and McKevin even suggested a weekly party," Michael listed off pretty much all of the details he could think of.

"You'd think history professors would be as dull as drying paint... but there's something about Professor McKevin that just seems," Michael trailed off, not quite sure how to word what he wanted to say. "It seems he likes to have as much fun as we do," he finished, the 'we' clearly defining teenagers as a whole.

"A weekly party?" Bella repeated, eyes slightly widened. It was not everyday that one heard that their professor was planning on doing something fairly unprofessorish.
"Well, that does sound like fun." she agreed. "He did start out his first class with games... wonder why he teaches that way?"

Michael nodded at the repeated words. "We should have posters and stuff up soon - Meeting place'll be his classroom, once classes are done of course."

"Dunno - but I'm not gonna complain. Anything's better than the usual 'open your books to page blah-blah-blah...'" he said with a laugh, equally curious as to how the professor acquired his style of teaching.

"Maybe he had Professor Binns as his History of Magic professor. No doubt that would be enough to make him desire to teach differently." Bella suggested.

"I guess," Michael shrugged. "Binns... he's the guy that taught last year, right? Ghost, rather... It'd make sense, if so - I can't tell you how many times it felt like I fell asleep in Binns's classes," he laughed.

"So, whatcha think - gonna give Phoenix Edge a try when the meetings start?" Michael asked, giving Bella a look that seemed to combine a winning smile and grin.

Bella nodded. "Yeah, last year was terrible." she agreed. "I will give it a try." She returned the smile and locked away Michael's grin for a special memory.

Kiara walked throug the Park with her Kitten siting in her shoulder. It seemed her shoulder was her favorite place to hithch a ride.

"Hmm now what to name hmm?" Kiara asked as she fed the kitten a small piece of tuna, which it ate happily.

"Merci?" ((lol))

The little cat just looked at her.

"No.. umm Heaven?"

The kitten swated playfully at Kiara's face.

laughing Kiara said "I guess not"

Then the kitten jumped down off of Kiara's shoulder and jumped into a tree that they passes by.

"Hey! don't you dare get stuck up there!" Kiara said as the Kitten climed the tall tree and sat on a branch up in the middle of the tree. then looked down at Kiara.

Kiara sighed "Are you going to make me climd up there to get you?" she asked.

The kitten seem to give her a look to say "Yes, whats it look like"

Kiara shook her head and laughed as she started climing the tree.

"The thing I do for cats" she mumbled.

Finally she reached the middle of the tree, and the kitten. The little kitten jumped onto her shoulder again.

Sitting on the branch to catch her breath form the climbing Kiara looked put to enjoy the view.

"Hmm you picked a marvalos spot, it is a great veiw of Hogwarts" she said.

"hmm now why did you make come all the way up here huh?" Kiara asked.

The kitten swated at branch of leave and played with leaf that fell off.

Kiara laughed at her antics, that is when a though struck her, the tree, a park, Woodlands.

"Thats it!, that is what your name will be Laverne (pronounce Lav-ern- EE,, hehe my way)

Lanverne moved over to kiara and nugded her hand looking for pets.

Kiara smiled "I am glad you agree" she said as petted the smell cat, newly dubbed Laverne, or Lav for short.

Zabby walked along, with Tiger Lily on her shoulder. She glanced up. "Headmistress! What are you doing up there?" she asked, pausing.

Kiara looked down, "My little friend here decided to take off in to tree and have me come and get her"

Balanceing on the branched Kiara mangaged to jump from one branch to another until she was low enough to the ground to jump al the way down.

"Ah you have one to it looks like, what is her name"? Kiara asked.

Zabby smiled. "Her name is Lily. Tiger Lily, but Lily. What's her name?" she asked, pointing at the kitten on Kiara's head.

Kiara smiled " I just named her Laverne, or Lav for short. I means wood land in french, since she love climbing trees.

" And I live name you gave yours, Lily... lovely name" Kiara said as Lav jumped on to her shoulder and started playing with her long hair.

Lily jumped off Zabby's shoulder onto Kiara's and patted at Lav. Zabby said, "Lily... Get back here!"

Kiara chuckled, "Well aren't you a feisty one" she said as Lav batted back.

"Ah sibling rivalry" Kiara laughed as she pick Lav up and moved her to he other shoulder.

Then she picked up the feisty Lily.

"She certainly has some spunk in her huh?" she said as she handed the quirming kitten back to her owner.

Zabby took back the proffered kitten. She sat her on her shoulder and scolded, "Lily, you shouldn't do that! She's the head of my school and decides if you stay or leave."

The cat looked up at her like, "What? I'm innocent."

Zabby rolled her eyes. "And you are not innocent." She looked up at Kiara. "Must be. Yes, she is. Lily is always attacking something, be it fuzz, light or my hair." The wind blew her hair across the kitten's face, and as if to prove her point, Lily started biting the offered hair, yanking in Zabby's head. "See?"

Kiara laughed "She must be the one that bit my finger when I was looking at them"

Then Lav jumped of her shoulder and started to climb the trees again.

"Oh no you don't, I am not climbing up to get you again" Kiara said and with wave of her hand Lav floated back on to her shoulder.

"Why I didn't do that the first time is beyond me" Kiara said as she patted Lav on the head and she licked her face.

'Suck up.." she mumbled at Lav.

"She is a adventurous one no fear what so ever, I have a feeling I am going to be looking in the trees when ever she goes missing"

Zabby laughed too. "Maybe, Headmistress." She smiled at the kitten who tried to climb the tree. "I wouldn't have thought of it, either." She grinned. "Aren't all kittens? I don't know where I'm going to look for Lily if she goes missing."

Kiara walked through the park still in a high over her previous evening with Ciaran, but managing to gread her essays. As she hummed her favorite tune (May it be lol)

Juria saw the Headmistress and went over to her, smiling she greeted,

"Hello Kiara, fancy meeting you here."

Juria smiled, she had just been taking care of a student and now that she was done she was on a short break.

Viper wandered through the halls on a mission looking for Kiara. She hadn't been in any of her usual places and Viper was getting quite tired of running around everywhere.

Suddenly, as Viper made her way through the Park, she heard a soft humming. She turned and was pleased to see her hunt was over and the object of her search was a few feet away.

"Kiara! There you are. I need you to sign these forms regarding the Potions Lab insurance policy." she greeted as she handed the paperwork to the Headmistress.

Kiara smiled "Ah hello Juria, how was you day?" she asked puting a handfull of Eassy's away.

When Viper came in she nodded "Very well, what brought this on if I may ask?"

With a semi-amused look Viper replied. "Parents threatning to sue me if their child makes a stupid mistake that endangers their life."

"Good day, Juria." Viper greeted politely.

Juria chuckled; she was the one that would take care if the child hurt themselves.

"Greetings Viper" Juria smiled at the professor.

"I guess if anyone hurts themselves it will be my problem later on wont it?"

Juria slightly laughed.

"Yes, but then when the kid's fine he or she runs off and tells mummy and daddy and what do they do? Blame me! Honestly...After about the dozenth howler I decided to just write up my own contract and insurance policy. All it needs is the Headmistress's approval."

Kiara nodded and sighned her signature on the dotted line sorta speak.

"Kiara Riddle" she wrote in her swift handwriting.

"Here you go can't have you, getting sued now can we, I agree with you by the way, potion make can be deadly if one is careless" she said.

With a nod of thanks, Viper took back the paperwork, vanishing it back into her office. "So how has everything been with you?"
