Entrence Hall

Lachesis frowned. "Yes she was. The awful things she did...makes you wonder why no one did anything about her until her staff took care of her." she sighed. "Hope you do not think that I was happy she was "killed". I am not a homicidal manic... just grateful that she was not longer hurting and destroying people."

"And did Eglantine tell you what she did? Prepare yourself, I almost didn't believe some of these things. They say she broke every bone in the Charms professor's body and then reconnected them all together at once. Poor woman is insane now... And that she forced all of the staff to wear a charmed bracelet that tracked them wherever they went and if they attempted to leave the school grounds, it released a toxin into their blood stream that only she had the antidote for." She stopped herself from continuing as it suddenly struck her that Kiara had not exactly asked to hear any grisly details.

Kiara stopped for a moment, "All I can say is that that woman is lucky she is already dead. I'd kill her myself if she wasn't., I though Voldie was bad. "

Lachesis shrugged her shoulders. "As they say "the past is past at last." adjusting her hat so that she could tuck a loose hair under it, Esis smiled at Kiara fondly. "You look after Eglantine, don't ya?"

Kiara give a small sigh.

"Well I try, Eglantine can be a difficult patient sometimes, for a reasons I have yet to figure out she likes to hide it when she doesn't feel well. Usually resulting in nearly giving me a heart attack. But when most of the time we take care of eachother..."

Kiara looked down a she aching shoulder and remembered Eglantine had gotten her to the hosital wing dispite all the pain she must have been in.

Darien took a step forwards.
"Got a problem with that Pony-boy? You can't choose your family...but she can choose her boyfriend." His twirled his wand, pointing it directly at Nick.

Esis snorted. "Tell me about it..." she sighed. "Nobility I suppose... damn nobility. I tell her and tell her that it is going to kill her some day, but she just ignores me. I guess she is from a forgotten generation, one caught between the old ways and the new ways."

Pausing for a moment she glanced at Kiara's shoulder. "I look forward to getting to know you better. You're just lovely to chat with. Will you be alright with me filling in for her classes? I have the credentials to teach just about any subject and I'm sure I can find her lesson plans somewhere."

"Very well thank you, I am sure Eglantine will be relieved her classes will continue, I look forward to getting to know you as well "

((Are Darien and Nick in a different time to Esis and Kiara?))

Darien began to plan his strategy. Avoid hitting Diana with any spells, and hex her stupid cousin and creepy friend.
Simple.
All he needed was for Nick to respond.

"Please tell me he is lying Diana." Nick looked at her pleadingly.

Diana avoided his glaze but that alone confirmed Nicolas' worst fear. "I thought you had more taste then that! Him? A Vaight? You couldn't have possibly chosen worst!"

"Oh god! The thought of you and him - "

"Hey, you weren't the one who caught them snogging!" Helena added viciously.

Nick looked at her. "Okay, I did not need that mental image."

"Really? Cause it's been burned into my mind forever," Helena said dislainfully.

"You don't even know him!" Diana defended.

"Oh but I do! I do Diana, I went to Durmstrang with him. And even then we didn't get along, just for the simple fact that he is a Vaight!"

And with that Nicolas whipped out his wand. "Are you sure you want to do this Vaight? Cause, if I remember it, you aren't much of a duelist."

Amy and Aiden watched the exchange from the shadows.

"Really what does being a Vaight have anything to do with it? Aiden mentally asked Amy.

"I think he is just sore because his dear cousin is lovey with his worst enemy. If Darien wasn't with Miss Prefect over there he probably wouldn't care as much"

"Probably right"

Then Aiden thought over to Darien.

" We would be more then happy to knock him on his but...

" Only if you want us to of course"

Esis nodded. "Good. Well I suppose we should head on up. I'm just dying to see Eglantine. You know its been a good 10 or so years!"

Diana saw both boys have their wands out. She put herself in between them.

"Stop it! Both of you!" She said staring each of them down. "This is ridiculous."

Thanks guys...but can I pound him first? You guys can have the final blows... Darien smirked.
"Don't worry Diana, he hasn't got the guts." hie eyes narrowed. "However, I, as a Vaight...HAVE!"
A jet of ice cold water shot over Diana's head and splashed into Nick's face. Darien smiled.

Nicolas cursed at Darien.

Helena however, who wasn't blocked by Diana cast a jinx on Darien. "Aquamenti!"

Thinking quickly, Diana pointed at all of their wands respectively and shouted, "Expeliarmus!" She caught all of their wands.

"Stop it!" Diana said. "I'm serious! I'll take house points off! Yes, Helena, even in my own house!"

"Traitor!" Helena shouted.

"You took the words off of my mouth Hel," Nicolas said glaring at Diana.

Darien raised an eyebrow.
"Whats the matter Mr Pony? Can't fight without a stick of wood to portect you? You always did run away from the fight."
He raised his fists. "Come on Casillas, didn't you learn hand-to-hand in your spanish shed?"

"I don't need a (insert curse word here) wand to hurt you, Vaight!" Nicolas said. He threw himself at Darien.

Darien jumped forwards, kicking upwards and ducking under a blow.
Graham flew upwards, circling the fighting pair.

"Stop it you two!" Diana screamed.

Nicolas threw a couple of sucker punches at Darien. He then tried to elbowed him.

"Stop it!" Obviously she wasn't getting through to them.

They rolled around in the floor.

"Stop it!" she pointed two wands at both Darien and Nicolas. "Immobulus!"

And they stopped. In fact they stopped moving all together.

"Okay, now I'm going to give you the counter, and you will stop fighting."

"Finite Incantatem!"

Darien shot out a fist, connecting with the side of Nick's head.

"You little- I'll teach you how the british fight."

"Baboso!" Nicolas shouted and started punching him once again.

Diana looked up at Helena. "Help me!"

"Your on your own here, it's all your fault." Helena said viciously.

"Gah!" Diana said in despair. "Petrificus Totalus!" She pointed at the both of them. She leviated Nicolas several metres from Darien so that when she took of the spell, she could go in between them.

"Finite Incantatem." She said again. "10 points from Gryffindor, 10 points from Slytherin and if you two don't stop I'll stop speaking to the both of you!"

Darien stood up slowly.
"You're lucky that I value Diana's conversation more than pounding you, pony-boy. I guess we'll talk later Diana..."
He turned on his heel and walked out of the hall, Graham flying in his wake.

Nicolas stood up. "I can't believe your with that Maricón."

Diana said, "Don't call him that! You don't even know him!"

"Do you?" Nicolas said wipping the blood of his mouth. "Come on Helena, let's leave this traidor here."

"With pleasure." Helena said and he and Nicolas left a very upset Diana.

After nearly a week at Viper Manor, Viper approached the Entrance Hall with an air of confidence. Not that she lacked any confidence to begin with, but ever since the Diablo Inglacia was cast in the Viper Tomb, Viper had never felt more alive. Finally, things were in her control, free to bend to her will.

As she entered the hall, her hand unconsciously brushed against her now-white bangs ((think of Rogue from X-Men)), wondering if the others would be able to guess the reason for it. She sighed silently at the thought of her whitened raven-hair. It was one of the draw backs of Diablo. Because of the rate and amount of magic being absorbed it sometimes got to a point where a body couldn't withstand that much magic all at once and would go into overdrive, stressing itself.

Still, at this point Viper was past the point of caring about her hair color as she waited for any familiar faces. After all, dead people really weren't suited for conversation.
