Entrence Hall

"Can you side along with two people?" Diana asked cautiously.

"Yeah." Darien shrugged. "And if not, Ana can use me as a guide and go on her own."
Ana grinned. "Sometimes it's good having an older brother...you can force them to teach you cool stuff like apparating."
Darien rolled his eyes. "She is a very manipulative little-"
"Apparating Darien, not talking!"
"Right, let's go! Hang on, both of you."
He spun slightly and felt his way into the darkness...

((to the courtroom of doom...after the witnesses and stuff of course...))

Diana closed her eyes shut as Darien apparated them. She did not enjoy apparating one bit. Flying was a much better sport.

Kiara walked, intent on going to the great hall and some how manage to survive the massive head ache that had made its self at home on her head.

She had somehow managed to stop the bleeding the night before and she had placed a bamdage over. Then with a quick concelment charm she looked as good as new. To bad it didn't make her feel anybetter though, she was still suffering from after effects of curciatus so it was incomfortable to say the least.

She didn't want to worry anyone however.so she put on a "I am just fine" face as she entered the hall.

A raye of sun light didn't help in that department. as it got in her eyes and casued a puls of pain from her head.

"Ow...."

((After Kiara, Sevastyan, and Eglantine leave the Ministry...))

There a loud, echoing pop as Sevastyan apparated onto Hogwarts grounds, feline Eglantine on his shoulders, and walked at a brisk pace up to the castle. The speed in which he went was obviously magically enhanced by a spell of some sort. In no time, the pair found themselves in the Entrance Hall.

Vell, here ve are: our home avay from home you could say, Sevastyan mused, sending the thoughts to Eglantine.

Vhere to now, Professor?

Eglantine almost vomited as the feeling of apparation swept over her. She had rarely apparated in animagus form. As a shudder passed through her lithe frame, she dug her claws lightly into Sevastyan's robes to keep her balance.

Anywhere that I can wash my paws, Eglantine muttered to Sevastyan, glancing down at her bloodied claws...

Vould a cleansing spell be sufficient, or vould you prefer getting your feet vet? he asked, withdrawing his wand and holding it within view to show he was offering. There was a slight bit of cat humor there, in the Russian's voice. His sister's cat hadn't liked water one little bit.

The Headmistress should be along soon, shouldn't she? I thought she vos right behind us? Sevastyan asked curiously as he walked a little ways down the hall to get out of the way of any possible on-coming human traffic. He paused for a moment in wait for Eglantine's decision.

Kiara apprated just behind them, "Ah home sweet home' she said, Hogwarts was her home now afterall as the house she had been living in before was know out of her ownership.

"Anywhere you guys want to go is fine with me, I am just glad to be out of that court room"

The spell will be more than proficient, Eglantine muttered, her voice slightly amused by the mention of water. She disliked getting wet almost as much as she disliked dogs. As for where they went after the entrance hall was hardly something that she put a great deal of care into.

Sevastyan laughed at the response he received and muttered, "Scourgify" whilst aiming the wand at Eglantine. It didn't take long before the spell had finished its work, and Sevastyan replaced the wand back in his pocket.

"Perhaps your office, Headmistress? Unless you vould rather not have the portraits listening in?" he suggested, trying to think up a good place for them to speak in private.

"My quarters, will be preferable, I am curious to hear your guys thoughts on the trail now we don't have to keep quiet about it" she said.

Eglantine nodded her feline head.
It would also be lovely to have any sort of verbal communication. she quipped, licking her clean paw and then raising it to wipe at an itch on her ear.

Kiara nodded "Alright am not used to this mind speaking thing and I need a potion anyway" she said as she rubbed her arms. The after effect of the prolonged Curciatus curse had dimmed greatly over the days, but she nerves after such stressful week had taken a beating. "That trial took longer then I anticipated it would" she explained as she led the way to her quarters.

"Agreed," Sevastyan concisely thought and said the word. There were several levels of agreement: firstly, it would be nice to have verbal communication about the trial. Second, he wasn't exactly used to mind-speaking either; third, Kiara's quarters would be an agreeable location. And, finally: the trial took a lot longer than he'd expected as well. Odd how one little word could stand for so much all at the same time.

"It did take much longer than I had expected as vell," Sevastyan elaborated and followed the Headmistress at a leisurely pace.

Eglantine nodded her head and yawned, lying down so that she was more comfortably draped over Sevastyan's shoulder.
Why Flora? She asked her carrier, purring contently as he began to walk after Kiara.

((Yes, she is still on his shoulders...))

"Hmm?" he'd asked aloud without realizing, the sudden noise sounding much louder than it really was as it echoed through the hall. Then, he realized, that the question was asked mentally rather than verbally.

Your given name sounds like vone associated vith a flower to me, for some reason... instead of calling you by your real given name - vich vould have made certain individuals in the courtroom suspicious - I decided to go vith something less obvious, and Flora vos the best I could come up vith off the top of my head.

Vy? Vould you rather have a different alias? Sevastyan explained congenially, his tone slightly amused.

Eglantine blinked at the rather loud verbal exclamation.
No, I have nothing against Flora. Wondering, nonetheless. she murmured mentally. Truthfully, she was only curious, which was not a common thing for her. In her animagus form, she had taken on a least ten different names, each by a different person. Some had been muggles, who had had no idea that they had been giving their cream and table scraps to a witch and others had been family members fascinated by her ability and had named her cat form accordingly. Still, Flora was a new one. And it was better than some names the muggles had given her...

"Over here Tio," Diana said leading the group. She was the first to set foot in the Castle floor.

Calista stayed close to Armando. The castle may have sounded safe from Azkaban, but now she wasn't so sure...
Darien followed Diana into the hall, making sure Calista and Armando were following.
"Where will we find the Headmistress?" Calista asked. "We must find her and...request asylum as it were."

"She's probably in her office." Diana said. "It's this way..."

((To her office?))

Calista followed the teenagers, still holding on to Armando. No matter how many weird looks they got, she was not going to let him disappear again.

Eglantine sat in her wheelchair, patiently waiting for her cousin, Lachesis, to show up with her son, Edwin. Horatio had desired to accompany her, but she was finally convinced him to allow her to meet her son without him being present. She wanted a few minutes to have the child to herself, before the adoring mob, as Horatio had affectionatly put it, took away his attention.

"Mama!" Eglantine beamed, as the little boy ran from Lachesis to throw himself into her waiting arms. He was slightly taller than he had been when he had left, but only a mother would notice. Hugging her tightly, he snuggled into her lap and laughed.
"I wished you." he stated, in childish speech. She sighed.

"I know, love. But you're back now." Eglantine kissed the top of his messy hair.
"And Toliwer and Viper too!" he shouted, pointing back to Lachesis, who was setting his trunk down on the floor. Opening it, she pulled out the plush snake Professor Viper had given him. Edwin disentangled himself from Eglantine and ran over to clutch the snake. However, instead of running back to his mother, he beamed up at Lachesis.
"Can we shrow her?" he asked. The woman bit her lip. "Sure."

Edwin giggled with delight and ran around the corner. He returned carrying a carrier. Setting it on the ground, he opened it's door and pulled out, to his mother's complete horror, a Saint Bernard puppy.

Shocked speechless, Eglantine stared at the happy puppy as it licked her son's face. The puppy was quite young, but she knew enough about the dog's breed to know it would soon be much much larger. At that moment hexing her stupid Malfoy cousin was a wonderful idea.

"Well, I ought to be going now." Lachesis smiled nervously, not liking the glare her cousin was giving her. Patting Edwin's head, she kissed him on both cheeks and hurried for the door.
"Dow't you wike Towiver?" Edwin asked, lugging the large puppy over to his mother. Eglantine groaned.
"Toliver, I'm sure is a lovely animal, biene. But..." With the enormous puppy eyes he gave her, she couldn't say it.
"Come along, we'll go to our kammern." he nodded, smiling as Eglantine shrunk the trunk and levitated it along behind them. Maybe Viper...or Kiara, or Horatio, or Sevastyan or even Ethan could convince the child that the dog had to go, she thought.

Sevastyan was dressed in his usual blood-red robes, crimson mid-thigh length jacket, and black slacks. The sandalwood staff he had not displayed since his arrival clicked in time with his heavy footsteps. It was the boots he was wearing. Though he was proud to be a former student of Durmstrang, he was not dressed this way in a show of ethnic pride. At least, not this time. This time, on the contrary, he was considering on taking a little hike through the outer perimeters of the Forbidden Forest. The staff always went with him when he went hiking.

Walking along the hall, the Russian spotted Professor Eglantine DeLanquar... with a very young child walking astride her wheelchair? Sevastyan did a double take. Yep: that was indeed a small child; not a student some distance down the hall from them. A smile came to his face in realization that this had to be none other than Edwin.

The moment he was within earshot, Sevastyan halted practically in military fashion and stood off to the side to let her pass even though the hallway was more than big enough for the three of them. The loud thump of the staff meeting the ground echoed through the hall. "Good day, Professor DeLanquar," he greeted her warmly. "I take it this young man vith you must be Edvin?" His tone was light and cheerful, albeit a little deeper than as was his normal range of vocal pitch. A look of amusement crossed his face the moment Sevastyan realized that Edwin was carrying a plush snake and lugging along a rather large puppy. If he didn't know any better, Sevastyan would assume that it was likely a Saint Bernard.

I bet 'Flora' is simply thrilled about this vone... he mused humorously to himself. It was no secret that that particular breed would grow to be quite large, and quickly.

Kiara entered the entrance hall and a smile lit her face when she saw Edwin walking along side Eglantine and Sevastyan was with them as well.

"Long time no see Edwin" she said with a smile.

Then she spotted the Saint Bernard puppy "Oh dear, Eglantine must be thrilled" she thought sarcastically.

"How are you?"

Eglantine nodded and stopped her wheelchair. "Good day, Professor. Yes, this is my son Edwin." The boy beamed up at the DADA professor, hoisting his puppy a bit higher into his arms.
"Hewol!" he cheered happily, "Twis is my puppy, Towiler." Just then Kiara entered the hall and Edwin ran, as fast as he could with the large puppy to greet her.
"Do you swe my puppy?" he asked, despite the fact it was rather hard to miss.
Eglantine sighed.

"Apparently my cousin found it humorous to get him one of the world's largest dogs." she stated seriously, staring at the dog as if it had morphed into a nuclear warhead.
