Entrence Hall

Kiara waited in the entrence at felt several witches and wizards pass through the wards of Hogwarts.

The ministry snopes were here.

"I am not looking forward to this" she mumbled.

Not even a minute later Hermione Granger and a full squd a Aurors walked through the main doors.

"The Aurors are not at all nessesary Miss, Granger((I know she married Ron Weasley but calling her Mrs Weasley doesn't sound right)). We are not harbering a criminal here" said Kiara, not impressed by their attempt at intmiation.

"No one said you were Headmistress, they are only here as a precaution" said Hermione.

"Right" Kiara said not sounding at all convinced. "A precaution for what? Please this is a school Miss Granger, I will not have armed men wondering around looking for something that isn't here"

"They are here in case of resistence Headmistress nothing more, if everyone cooperates the Aurors will not be needed." said Miss Granger.

Kiara sighed as students began to stare, not in the mood to make spectical in the enterence hall said.

"Miss Granger can we please continue this in my office?"

Hermione nodded "Of course..."

((Hehe my office is in a different time line at the moment I so have to go the defence office))

Diana pasted the Entrance Hall as she got out of the Great Hall. She felt that Helena was following her and thus decided to take a detour.

Helena followed her loyally. But suddenly, a bunch of Ravenclaws started arriving in full force. It took all of Helena's might to keep Diana in sight.

She saw Diana go into the Bathroom. She weaved her way from the Ravenclaw riot and headed for the Bathroom. Then she arrived, the Bathroom was empty. "Stupid Ravenclaws!"

Ana was jostled from all sides, the idiotic Ravenclaws unable to see her.
Swearing, she ran out of the crowd, following Diana, but was bowled over by a first year Ravenclaw.
Getting to her feet, removing the disillusionment and swearing, she could no longer see the Gryffindors.
Her eyes became cold as flint.
Depulso. She spoke coldly, without emotion. The first-year was slammed into a wall.
Ana turned and walked away, ignoring the staring Ravenclaws. Back to the common room...
She'd corner Darien about this later.

Kiara walked through the halls of Hogwarts feeling awlful.

The numbing potion for her shoulder had worn off some time during the night and to make matter worse she ended up falling asleep on the sofa. So she shoulder was throbing and she was still a little tired from her use of wandless magic . Also the ward around the lake was weakening because of her own weakness. There was no telling how long it would last now.

Going to the great hall she needed alot of coffee.

Casey leaned up against the wall, she was starting to feel dizzy and light headed. Plus she was still bleeding heavily from her leg.

"oh I'll never make like this...but I have try"

Darien wandered aimlessly into the entrance hall. It was deserted.
Perfect.
He leant his back against the wall and slid downwards so he was sitting on the floor, his back against the wall. He pulled out an old essay and began tapping it with his wand, changing odd words so it didn't look like he'd written it beforehand.
Transfers were good. Do all the essays, then just edit them a bit and give them in.
Simple.

"And this is the Entrance Hall." Helena said gesturing in her arms. She pretended to take the role of guide at heart.

"I think he knows that Helena." Diana said

Helena ignored her. In fact, Helena made it a point to stay as far away from Diana as possible.

And Nicolas sensed this. "Hey what's up with you two?"

"What do you mean?" Helena said innocently.

"Did you have a row or something?" Nick said thoughtfully.

Diana nodded. "Yeah."

"I thought so." He said nodding his head too. "What was it about?"

"It was because of..." Diana stalled as she thought of something to say. Should she tell him or shouldn't she?

"Darien Vaight?" Nicolas said suddenly.

Helena wheeled at Nicolas. "How did you know?"

"What the hell are you doing here?" Nicolas exclaimed.

Darien laughed.
"You are so funny aren't you Nick. How's Your Little Pony?" ((yup, mocking the My Little Pony thing...they have wings now! lol... ))
He folded up his essay and packed it into his bag.
"So Nick...What are you doing in my school? I thought we had an arrangement. You stay away from me and I don't tell people about your horse obsession." He smirked slightly. "Although apparently Graham didn't. The Headmaster must have been pleased."
He casually rolled his wand between his fingers, a couple of sparks flying out of the end. He noticed the two other Gryffindors. That weird crazy friend of Diana's and...
"Diana?" He stepped forwards slightly. "I've been meaning to talk to you...If I could see you past Pony-boy."

((yup, Darien is in an arguementative mood...))

Nick's eyes narrowed. "So it was you. That was low. Even for you. I kept your... furry little secret."

Then he stood between Diana and Darien in a protective stance. "Leave my cousin out of this."

"Nick..." Diana whispered. She didn't like where this was going.

"Your cousin?!" Darien blinked in surprise.
"It wasn't me...It was my dear friend Graham." He whistled and a flurry of wings could be heard. An eagle with plumage as black as night itself, a pale yellow/golden beak and sharp, intelligent eyes, emerged from the halls and landed on Darien's shoulder. Darien stroked the eagle with one finger then glared at Nick.
"Kept my furry little secret? You have got to be joking! You didn't keep it, you kept dropping hints to all my friends! Jealousy is so sad on you Pony-Boy."
He smiled grimly. "It was hardly low...merely returning a...favour. I am a Slytherin and a Vaight after all, and pure-bloods don't tend to be merciful when it is not in their best interests. Or the interests of those they care about."
His eyes flickered to Diana.
"Come on Diana, I need to talk to you...without Mr Pony."

((OH I get the Graham thing now! lol. That took awhile! By the way, you can't shove the blood thing at Nick's face he's a pureblood.))

Nick scoffed. "Jealous? Of you? And what exactly do you have that I want? Psychopathic parents? Thanks, but I like mine the way they are."

"Come on." Nick said. Nick turned but noticed that Diana and Helena still hadn't moved.

Helena was scrutinizing Diana. "Who are you going to follow, Casillas? Your cousin or your boyfriend?"

"Boyfriend?!" Nick exclaimed. "Diana, he's your boyfriend?"

Making her way into the huge familiar castle, Lachesis sighed sadly. She missed those happy school days.
Not sure of what else to do, she stood patiently in the centre of the hall.

Kiara walked in to the entrence hall have felt the new but welcomed arrivel of Eglantine's cousin.

"Welcome to Hogwarts, or should I say welcome back"

Said Kiara as she walked in to greet Lachesis.

"I am the Headmistress, but you may call me Kiara"

"Oh hello, Kiara. Please call me Lachesis or Esis if my name is a bit tough to say."

She was a medium height with a rather solid body that could neither be called portly nor thin. Brown hair pulled back into a pony tail was covered by a rather floppy witches hat that looked like it had been trampled by a hippogriff and she looked to be about 30. She was wearing red and brown robes that appeared well-worn but clean and a pair of horn-rimmed glasses set on her nose. All in all she presented a rather odd appearance.

Kiara smiled, when she had seen the Malfoy crest on the falcon she a expected to see a tall, and blond haired woman. Esis was a plesant surprise.

"Alright Esis it is nice to meet you, though I am sorry it under the circumstancese that they are. Eglantine has not been well these last few days I am afraid. Now will you be staying in her quarters or do you want onse of your own?"

Lachesis shrugged her shoulders, picking up a heavy battered suitcase.
"It depends. How sick is Lenty?"

((Oopes should Edwin be with Kiara? ))

Kiara frowned recalling the night before.

"She is quite ill, after every thing that has happened to her recently I am not surprised. She will need your help quite alot for a while until she gets her strenght back"

((No, she could have left him asleep in the room with a charm to alert her if he woke up...))

"Ah, I see." She bit her lip. "So...um... I realize that Eglantine is a very private person, but what exactly "happened to her recently"?"

Kiara sighed, "what hasn't happened would be a better question"

"She was severly injured by a mountain troll about a week and a half ago, she has been treated for those injuries but her healing process has been interupted..." Kiara paused wondering if she should tell about her posession.

"About 6 days ago a man broke in to her quarters and threatened her sons life. Eglantine fought him and the man died. The fight made her previous injuries even worse, so here we are now."

Kiara explained.

"A troll and an assassin. Sounds like I'm at Hogwarts." Lachesis stated cheerfully. "When I attended we had major problems with the trolls. Something about finding a ward to hold them at bay. Of course that was quite a few years ago." She glanced around her.

"Um...where did the son come from? Or do I want to know?"

((sorry Roommates boyfriends birthday, they dragged me with them))

"Well thing with her son is rather complicated, comes down to a rather ingenious potion. I think I'll let Eglantine exlpain that when she is well enough."

Flicking her wrist she placed a feather weight charm on Esis's suit case and asked "Would you like to see Eglantine now?" asked Kiara.

((ah I see... Did you have fun?))

Lachesis nodded, mulling over all that Kiara had said in her mind. "I suppose I had better." She remarked lightly, smiling broadly. "How long have you been Headmistress? Enjoying the position?"

((Yeah I suppose did, I forgot how funny her boyfriend is))

Kiara smiled, "This is my first year as Headmistress, and yes I am enjoying it very much. It has all my passions rolled into one job. I must abmit it is becoming a roller coaster ride more then anything"

((Funny in a good way or funny as in strange?))

Lachesis laughed loudly at Kiara's last statement, pausing to push her falling glasses up toward her eyes.
"I can imagine." she giggled. "I was Headmistress of Beauxbatons for a year or two before some who-eh...nasty lady forced me to resign. Rumour had it that the whole staff conspired together a few years later and killed her off. I had a celebration that day."

Kiara eyed Esis.

"Hmm yes Eglantine told me about her, she was an insane maniac if you ask me"
