Hospital Wing

"Ugh," Helena said now that the Hospital Wing was empty of teachers. "I was kinda hoping they excluded us of the work. How are you feeling Diana?"

Diana quickly catalogued her injuries. "Well I don't feel any pain, so I guess that's a good thing."

"Yeah, that's probably the pain killer the nurses gave you, wait until that wears off..." Helena said.

"Well aren't you the one for a silver lining?" Diana said sarcastically. "Ow!"

"What?" Helena said alarmed. "What is it?"

"I've got bruises everywhere! I can't move, I can't even twitch my leg!" Diana exclaimed.

"Yeah well here," Helena said handing Diana something. "I got you a Chocolate Frog to make you feel better."

"Thanks." Diana said, before consuming the entire thing completely.

Minutes later, Diana and Helena exited the Hospital Wing.

Mae turned, "Professor DeLanquar did what?" She tried to smile, but the air the Headmistress had just left with, worried her.

As the first year explained, she kept her eyes on the door. Then as soon as he finished, she darted for the door and make a quick escape to the Great Hall.

((Mae is now in the Great Hall.))

"Oh look, the Gryffindor's awake."
Ana flopped back down on her bed and fiddled with her wand.
"Well, my father would have a fit if he could see me stuck in a hospital wing with you lot. If he hasn't joined Voldemort already."
Ana felt surprisingly calm. She'd always expected it to happen if Voldemort returned.
She walked out of the hospital wing, a determined glint in her eye.

Reappearing in Hospital wing Kiara managed to get the still unconscious Eglantine on to a bed.

By the burning in her arm she guessed it was the excessum that had done it, it had to be.

Summoning pain relief and strengthening potions she spelled them to go down Eglantines throat.

Then all she could do was wait for her to wake up, She didn't want to wake her up right away by magic there was no telling how much pain she was in or how far Voldemort had managed to reach her.

Eglantine felt as though she was floating, a sensation that frightened her to no end. Ever since she had become a cat animagi, she had feared water or anything like water. Her mind was unable to order itself and she was only aware of several chaotic spurts of memories and thoughts. In truth, Eglantine felt broken, as if her very sanity had been ripped from her and the pieces left behind had been too small and jagged to put together again.

Her eyes finally opened, despite the fact that she could not see through them, and her body shook violently. The black abyss that she appeared to have fallen into crashed in its entirety over her and she saw conjured images in her mind.

There was a bloody Kiara leaning beside a wall. Her eyes held great pain and she appeared to be getting weaker.
You couldn't save me! she spat, her face contorted in pain and betrayal.
Eglantine attempted to sit up, trying desperately to help the injured Headmistress.
"Kiara!" she screamed as flames engulfed the woman.

Kiara jumped as Eglantine yelled her name. Usually she never called by her first name.

Running over to her bedside she kneeled down.

"Eglantine?"

The image contorted again so that the flames reached out to her, lapping at her white robes. Blood from Kiara's burning body was staining her hem as she attempted to save her.

Eglantine the dying woman gasped. You did this to me. Professor Viper can save me, but you can't.

Unknown to her, Eglantine, outside of her mentally forced nightmares, began to cry. The image faded into nothing as it had before and she watched horrified as the image reappeared only this time as a random student. She struggled to get away from the awful sight before her, but her body refused to cooperate.

The image melted away again giving her temporary relief only to be replaced by another and another. Finally as her dying husband filled her eyes, she used the last bit of her strength to erect a barrier. A shrill shriek left her lips as pain both mental and physical crashed into her.

Her eyes opened again, this time seeing Kiara standing next to her and the Hospital Wing's walls. Terror filled her eyes and she struggled to get away from the Headmistress.

Kiara seeing the transfigurations professor frightend and suffering form the effects of a nightmare.

Kiara slowly raised her hands, and lowed her self to her knees.

"Its alright, you were having a nightmare, you are awake now in hogwarts" her voice was calm and quiet as she looked at Eglantine.

"A nightmare?' Eglantine gasped. "If only." She repeated her words several times in French, German, Scottish Gaelic and then again in an African dialect. She could see Kiara, but did not believe that the woman was really there. It was another conjured image trying to deceive her, she thought.

Kiara bit her lip,

"she still thinks she is dreaming" she thought.

Doing the only thing she could think of to prove she was real and some made up image. She placed both her hands on Eglantines shoulders. Firmly but not hard.

"Look at me Eglantine, look at me, I am really here. I took you here after you collaped in hogsmeade..... "

Eglantine nodded obediently as if she had been scolded. "I could see through Him." she whispered.

Releasing Eglantine, Kiara sat next to Eglantine on her bed.

"Voldemort? what happened?" she asked almost afraid to hear the answer.

"Nothing. He just was stronger."

"What happened in Hogsmeade I wouldn't call nothing, you screamed bloody murder before you collaped. You nearly scared me to death and..." she let the sentence drop. Figuring telling Eglantine that her arm felt like it had been on fire wasn't the best time.|

"Anyway how could he suddenly become stronger? when you zapped his energy"

Eglantine brushed a lock of hair that had fallen from her bun out of her face and sighed.
"I don't know. He somehow conjured images in my mind. I saw...terrible things." she shuddered and became very interested in a speck on the wall.

Kiara looked at Eglantine sadly and place a hand on her shoulder. Mind rapes were one of the worst forms of torture,

Sighing she said.

"Knowing you I doubt you want to tell me what you saw, but if you ever need a shoulder to cry on as I said my door is always opened to you"

Eglantine nodded. "Thank you, Headmistress." she whispered. With a great deal of effort, she climbed down from the bed and looked around for her cane.

"Where do you think you are going?"

she said as she raised her eye brow, it was obvious the women was still very tired.

"I must find Professor Viper." Eglantine stated, still looking around for her cane. Obviously she was too tired to remember that all she had to do was pull out her wand and accio it.

Kiara shock her head and rolled her eyes..

"I am afraid she is not at hogwarts at the moment, you can wait and rest until she gets back."

"She is not at Hogwarts, because she is with Lord Voldemort!" Eglantine snapped, turning to look at Kiara. "I saw her as clearly as I see you now and she was not "acting"."

"I know where she is Eglantine, which is presicely why I don't think it is the best idea for you to go walking up to Voldemorts doors step"

"He cannot harm me." she tried to reason. But instead of continuing for the door, she returned to the bed and seated herself.

Kiara moved next to Eglantine, in a calm voice she said

"No he can't harm you, at least not in the way he could harm anyone else. But he can keep you there aganist your will, to ensure no harm comes to you. You know as well as I if not more, that the thing Voldemort values the most is his immortaity. If it means locking you in a room to ensure that he won't hesitate to do it, and you know it. As for Viper her loyalies are still in question.... What did you see?"

Eglantine blushed and looked away from Kiara. Rather hesitantly she replied. "She was kissing him. Quite passionately I might add."
