St. Mungoes Hospital ~ September 15, 2033 ~ Fixed Future

Nicolas apparated carrying his son.

He headed straight for the front desk.

The reception lifted her head to greet the next man with a child come up to the desk.

She had red hair and was dress in a lad coat, she was a older woman possibly in her 50s or 60s and she was rather grandmotherly looking.

She could practically feel the worry pouring off the young man, so she decided to skip the pleasantries and get right to getting him any aid he needed.

"What is the trouble sir?" she asked she cast a concerned glance at the baby she did hope if there was something wrong with the child there wasn't some thing serious.

Amy and Aurora appeared in the St. Mungo's seating room, Amy quickly saw Nick and rushed to his side.

"We don't know," Nicolas said as calmly as he could without going into hysterics, "We went out for a bit, and then when we came back, our Elf told us there was something wrong... He's not breathing properly!"

Amy also quickly added "And he has a really high fever to, it came on really quickly, we weren't gone for very. we just Managed to make him fall asleep, before... well we had another family emergency and we didn't want to wake him."

Marry nodded to who she assumed was the mother, she took a quick look at the baby herself and he didn't look well. She usually asked new comers to take a form and fill it out before the saw a healer, but considering how ill the baby looked....

She quickly looked and on her magical chart the showed all the rooms and beds in the hospital. She quickly marked off one of the rooms in the infants ward taken. She quickly gave Nick a form and a slip to go to the room she had just marked off.

"Fill out this for on the way to the room, a healer will either meet you on the way or meet you at the room." she explained. " I do hope he gets well soon Dears" she said.

Amy nodded "thank you"

Nicolas nodded and headed towards the room, with the slip the lady gave him security between his arms and little Noah.

Aurora just stayed quiet throughout this running about. Wondering if she'll ever get fed.

Amy hurried along after Nick as they entered the room the receptionist had assigned them.

The healer was waiting for them inside there room.

She was a middle ages woman, maybe a little older then Amy she self, she had black hair and slightly tanned skin.

"I am Healer Carolina, now lets have look at the little guy, but I do ask you fill out the form Marry gave you I can't treat him for anything until you have filled it out" she said.

Amy nodded as she held on to Aurora, hoping the her little girl didn't get what ever Noah had. One child sick was bad enough.

Nicolas nodded and started filling out the forms. His hand was shaking slightly as he wrote.

Aurora blinked in confusion. What was going on?

Amy went over to Nick, it was easy to tell he was scared just as much as she was, placing her hand on his shoulder and hugging him slightly. "He is going to be fine Nick, he is going to be alright" she said reassuring not only for him but for self to.

She looked at Aurora, " Come here sweetie" she said as she motioned to her daughter to sit on her lap.

Healer Carolina examined baby Noah, his raspy sounding breathing concerned her the most. It was probably just congestion but in a baby so young it could cause problems. The fever was something to worry about to, it was almost 102 degrees F. Much to high for a baby this small.

She cast a diagnostic charm on Noah that made a chart of his vitals appear above the pediatric crib.

She didn't show anything on the outside, but she was worried for the baby as well, he was a very sick little boy.

Nicolas forced himself to smile encouragingly. But looked on to Noah with worry.

Aurora went up to her mother and sat on her lap. "What's wrong with him?"

Amy sighed and bit her lip as she looked worriedly at Noah as the healer examined him.

Holding Aurora she kissed her head and tried to explain, " He is sick honey" she said.

Then Healer Carolina approached them. "That he is, I am afraid, when you are done with paper work for his medical file, I will start giving him something for the congestion and fever, those are concerning me the most" looking at the two worried parents.

Amy nodded her head and swallow back tears, " Thank you Healer, please you whatever you can for him" she said holding on to Aurora.

Nicolas rushed past the paper work glaring at it angrily. Honestly! His son was in trouble and all they could think about was the paper work?!

"Here, it's finish." Nicolas said holding out the form. "Can you please heal him now?"

Aurora nodded at Amy and looked at Noah with slight curiousity.

Carolina nodded she took the paper in her hand and muttered a spell, immediately the chart above Noah's bed stated his name and listing any allergies he may have to the ingredients they use in the potions.

"Oh course Mr. Casillas, Sorry about the paper work, we need his medical info before we are allowed to treat him" she said as she went back to little Noah and took out a small potion phial and rubbed the contents on Noah's chest.

Noah's breathing improved, but only slightly.

"hmm..." she said as she waved her wand over the infant. The results concerned her, Noah had a rather nasty strain of a wizard flu. A flu that was a bit resistant to potions, they were in for a long night.

She then got the strongest fever relief potion she could use on the infant with making things worse. It would stop the fever from rising.

Sighing she turned to the Casillas's "Mr. and Mrs Casillas, your son has a rather strong strain of the Wizard flu, I assure you I will do everything in my power to help him. I have him stabilized for now, he should rest a bit more peacefully now but will be a few more hours before I can give him more. Because of his age it would do more harm then good to give him any more for at least a few hers." she said. She wanted to make sure the knew what was going on.

"The Wizard flu?" Nicolas paled. "But... he's just a baby. How is that possible?"

Amy hugged Nick, trying not to cry for wanting to be strong for her family as she listened to the healer.

"The virus can still infect babies Mr. Casillas, it happens, you can go to him if you with your presents may help keep him calm" she said motioning for them to got to their son.

Nicolas took a deep breath. "How long will he be here? When can we take him home?"

Carolina sighed, " I am not entirely sure Mr. Casilas, it all depends on when that fever goes down, Right now all I can do is stop it from rising any higher. Once his fever goes down he should be out of danger and he will be alright to return home" she said.

Nicolas nodded in resigned understanding. "Please do whatever you can for him."

Carolina nodded, "Oh course, for now I have done all I can, I am just going to step out side for a moment to look over somethings. I will be back in bit to check on him, " said she was about to leave when she turned around again.

"I am confident he will pull through, This flu aside he looks like a healthy baby" she said with as small smile.

Amy nodded to the healer and hugged Aurora again, "Thank you" she said her gaze still on her baby boy.

Nicolas leaned against the wall, then bounced back up again. He needed to get his mind of off things. Thinking of 'what could happen' would drive him mad.

"Amy, Princessa do you want something to eat?"

Amy shock her head she was far to anxious to eat.

"No thank you" she muttered.

Then she looked at Aurora, "Are you hungry Princess?" she asked.

Aurora nodded. "Yes!"

Nicolas frowned at Amy's refusal to eat. "You have to eat love..."

Amy nodded to Nick, "I will Amor... later, I will just have a Coffee for now" she said softly. Feeling very depressed and like an awful mother again. First Aurora runs away cause she believes they didn't love her anymore, which was far from the truth. Then when they get home they find Noah dreadfully ill, she should have noticed something sooner.

"I'll get you a muffin." Nicolas said to Amy.

"How about you Princessa?" Nicolas turned to his daughter. "What do you want?"

"Pancakes." Aurora said automatically.

Nicolas smiled at her, hopefully to make her feel more at ease. "I'll be back."

And with that he left.

Amy sighed and sat in a chair beside her sons bed, and put her hand through the bars in the hospitals crib and placed her finger in Noah's small hand.

"Get well soon my little prince" she said.

"Mummy," Aurora peered through Noah's cot. "What's wrong with him?"
