Hospital Wing

"Not exactly...It's complicated. It just makes me feel really sick and makes my thought process so slow...I'm surprised I'm understandable right now! And I keep falling...asleep..."
Ana's eyes began to roll and she fell backwards, drifting back into unconsciousness.
Who even invented that stupid potion?! Whoever it was, she was going to kill them!

"Right. Sleep tight then," Finn replied with slight amusement.

With some great force of will, Ana tried to force her eyes open again.
She couldn't give in to this potion again! The room swam back into view. Where was her wand?!
She noticed it, a few inches away on the table by her bed. Somehow, she managed to force her hand to reach out and grab it.
She pointed it at her head and her eyelids dropped, conscious thought being banished from her mind.
She fought to remember the spell... She mumbled something she couldn't quite hear, and a great weight vanished from her stomach. It had worked.
Relief overcame her and she let her arm drop, knowing that she would be over this strange reaction in under an hour...
Let the countdown commence...

Finn raised a curious eyebrow, but didn't do anything other then that.

Kiara unceremoniously banged her head on the wall.

"Stupid...Stupid, who ever at the ministry said Hogwarts doesn't need student medical records should be shot."

Kiara said guilt written all her face.

"I didn't give her very much, very mild amount.... Viper is going to kill me or her Father"

"Just great...." she said with a sigh as she turned to Finn.

'Sorry Professor you caught me on a bad day"

"Happens to the best of us, Headmistress," Finn replied with a reasuring smile. "And you can call me Finn, you know. No need to be so formal when there are no students around... Well, ones that are not knocked out, that is."

"Alright, thanks you call me Kiara then if you want then, most everyone else does, except Eglantine she still insists on calling me Headmistress.... Oh mind if I ask you something?"

"What is it?" Finn asked.

"Are you related to Filius Flitwick? he used to be my charms Professor while I went in school here"

"He's my father's cousin," Finn replied with a nod. "And he was my teacher too. Head of House, even!"

Kiara paused suddenly remembering something.

"Oh yeah... I remember we went to Hogwarts around the same time didn't we?"

"I believe so," Finn replied.

Kiara smiled.

"Well I am glad you came back to Hogwarts, The Charms department could use your expertise in that field. I was teaching the class before you, but it isn't my passion like Defense and wandless magic."

"Well, since Filius Flitwick - I just call him uncle Flius - Flitwick had retired, I figured Hogwarts was in some new Charms tallent," Finn replied with a smile. However, that was a lie. Finn's main reason was to look after the experimental seal that Mark carried and make sure it didn't break. It had been going well for over four years now, and once Mark graduated this year, Finn planned on quitting this job and going back to being an Enchanter and keep an eye on Mark wherever the boy went.

"Hmm oh speaking of Charms talent, you know Mark Farland in Ravenclaw don't? He mentioned you taught him the Patronus Charm in my advanced spells class a while ago"

"Oh, yes, during the summer," Finn replied, nodding. "He comes over to my house a lot during the summers and I teach him some things that aren't normally taught in class. However, this summer was the first time I could help him with actual spell casting, since he turned seventeen just before the summer break."

"Ah that is good"

Then Kiara's face went serious.

"...it will extremely handy know that Voldemort has returned, why can't the monster stay dead"

((He does know about Voldemorts return right?))

"Three times' a charm, they say," Finn replied casually with a shrug. "Hopefully Harry Potter can deep six that guy for good this time."

(I'll just play along and say yes.)

Kiara shrugged,

"It was supposed to be for good last time. I haven't heard any news from the ministry regarding what they plan to do about it. Which it very unnerving considering one of his deatheaters kidnapped a student right off school grounds and injured a teacher"

Ana stirred and opened her eyes.
A conversation seemed to be going on somewhere near her. It was blurred and fuzzy, like a view from a misted window. She concentrated on the conversation, and it gradually became sharper and more audible.
She coughed and yawned. Weird sound when you combine the two...
She sat up slightly and tipped her head on one side. No dizzyness, that was a relief. She glanced at the two Professors deep in conversation and wondered what they thought of her.
A pathetic first-year who couldn't even deal with a Boggart and had peculiar allergic reactions, probably...
She really couldn't wait to escape this Hospital Wing.

Kiara looked when she saw Ana Vaight wake up.

"Ah good you are awake, how are you feeling now? I do apologize about the potion, I will make a demand from the ministry to let me have Student medical records. I understand if you want to inform your family what happened. It was irresponsible of me and I am sorry" said Kiara sincerely. She truly felt bad about what happened.

Ana blinked several times. That was... unexpected. An apology?

"Er- I feel much better, and it's fine. No harm done. And I'd really prefer not to inform my family," she grimaced slightly, "my mother gets a bit overly protective about these things. And um... Sorry I thought I could take the Boggart... It was stupid. I should have known better..."

Ana sat up, leaning her back against the wall at the end of the bed. Surprisingly, she was still holding her wand loosly in one hand, and she replaced it on the bedside table. Hopefully she'd be able to leave soon.

Kiara sighed in relief she hadn't exactly looking forward to dealing with angry parents.

"Don't worry about the boggart Miss. Vaight it has been taken care of. If you are feeling better you may go when ever you wish"

Kiara leaned in slightly closer and whispered.

"I had trouble with my Boggart to..... If either of us should have known better it should have been me. Don't worry about dear, alright?"

"Okay Professor."
Ana's shame was lessened slightly, although she stilll hoped her parents wouldn't be informed. Vaights don't fail. Well, they weren't meant to anyway.
She pushed herself out of the bed and stood up carefully.
"Um... Professor, I am feeling better so can I go now please?"

Kiara nodded.

"Of course Miss Vaight, I will see you in class later"
