Viper's Office

"Awkward..." Viper breathed out, smiling as she drained a goblet, offering one to the other two witches.

Eglantine's indifference faded into an obviously cold exterior.
"Good afternoon." she replied, stiffly. "I came here to tell you that my cousin returned to France with my son."

Viper raised an eyebrow. "Alright, maybe not..." she said as she withdrew the goblet. "I'm very sorry to hear that, Professor."

"Well, it is best. After all I am a danger to the student body. My son should be safe as far from me as possible." Her voice held a icy edge.

Viper nodded, amused by what she had created. although willing herself not to show it. "Don't take it personally...I suppose?" Viper's voice held a note of question, not really knowing what to say.

"I do not see you accusing anyone else. Thus I would have to take your statement personally." Eglantine's glare increased in intensity. If looks had the ability to kill, Viper would have long since been buried two meters under.

Viper raised an eyebrow, not at all afraid of Eglantine's glare. "Who else is there to 'accuse'? You're the only one who can't get a grip on themselves, throwing knives and glass shards everywhere. Who else is to blame for that?" Her voice held no anger or menace. Merely curiousity with a hint of incredulity.

Kiara whinced and glared at Viper and gave her a 'thank you very much" look.

"Eglantine that isn't what was meant, or at least that wasn't what I meant" she said shooting another glare to Viper.

Viper looked over at Kiara. "I thought we were allies..." she muttered under her breath, the corners of her mouth twitching.

Kiara rolled her eyes "With an ally like you who needs an ememy" pausing thinking for a moment and put in to the combo she was sick, annoyed, and now stressout compliments of Viper. Kiara did something she would usually never do.

She lifted her hand and muttered a spell causing black ink to sput out of her hand, aim directly at Viper smirking face.

Eglantine blinked. "I suppose no one is to blame for it...save me." she smirked. "Sort of the pot calling the kettle black though isn't it?"

Viper retreated behind her desk, coughing and sputtering ink unto her face. "Ugh, Kiara-wh- ink? What are you, twelve? Ugh, this is disgusting!" she said as she wiped away the ink with a quick scourgify.

Once she dried off, she sat on her desk with a glare at both witches. "Not funny." she scowled. At the back of her mind she she wasn't truly angry. After all, she did kind of deserve this...

She smirked at Eglantine. "Yes, I suppose it is. Except this pot." she gestured to Eglantine. "Can't seem to take the heat and is splattering everywhere."

Kiara place the glare right back a certian blue light burning behind her eyes " that is better, next time you pull that again it will be permanent ink that won't come off for 24 hours"

Turning back to Eglantine she said "I am sorry"

Viper raised an eyebrow. "Pull what? I did nothing except speak the truth. You agreed with me, Kiara!"

"You twisted what I said and put your own meaning to them, you do that a lot, you like caueing chaos don 't you" she said.

Eglantine merely listened. There was nothing she wanted to say to either Kiara or Viper, so it appeared that she had only to sit and watch.

"I told the truth! I told you, I worry that Professor Delanquar can no longer handle herself. You agreed with me. You were the one who wanted to put wards on her!" Viper exclaimed. "There wasn't anything to twist. She can't control her magic, you agree. End of story."

Kiara shook she head and face away from Viper, Turning back to Eglantine.

"Eglantine please there more behind what she is saying, I only wanted to help if it became absoutly nessesary" she said the last part to Viper.

Viper scoffed. "Yes, let's all wait for a student to have a fork gouge out their eye or better yet, have a tower fall on their heads. That will be a real joy." she replied venemously. "Is that the plan, Kiara?"

Eglantine's eyes suddenly showed intense pain.
"You wanted to put wards around me?" she whispered. "Like you did around the Forbidden Forest and the Lake? Like you put around Cerise..."

Viper looked to Kiara. "That was all you."

Kiara nodded to Viper, but repiled to Eglantine.

"No Eglantine not like that, never, just stablize magic nothing more, it wouldn't be made to inprison or hold you in any way"

"Yet." Viper muttered, still glaring. "Not imprisonment yet." she smirked slightly at Eglantine.

Kiara glared at Viper "Want a squid in your face now?"

Viper fought a laugh. "Want a new potions mistress? Employment's difficult enough without the added setback that a fellow colleague is incapable of controlling their magic." Viper warned.
