Viper's Office

Viper diverted her attention away from her paperwork and stared at the woman before her with a rather dull expression.

"Yes?" she asked, expecting the other woman to be another iritated parent coming to wreck havoc on Viper's hearing.

Juria asked in a friendly tone,

"Are you the potions master that i heard great things about?"

Juria hoped she wasnt interupting anything too important, she hated to be a bother.

Viper raised an eyebrow at the older woman's overly-friendly voice. "Madame, flattery will get you nowhere. It is merely wasting your time and mine." she said impateintly. "Now, what is it that you want?" Viper asked crossly, her irritation skyrocketing. She hated people who beat around the bush

Juria smiled, she saw that the professor was obviously annoied with something, hopefully not her, but trying to not get the professor more annoied she said,

"I take it as you are her, Kiara sent me to you... Im sorry to be a bother but I need a memory poiton for myself... and also i am the new hospital healer so can you please get these poitons?"

Juria handed the professor a list of everything she needed and hoped that the professor would be preoqupied with the list and not ask WHY she needed the memory poiton for herself.

"Kiara said you might be able to make them, oh im sorry my name is Juria."

Juria was annoied that she forgot to introduce herself yet again.

By now both of Viper's eyebrows were raised. Was this lady a ditz or what? How dare she ask Viper to make her those potions, as though she was some low-class worker at the apothecary!

"Excuse me? Forgive me, Madame. I am quite sure I did not hear you correctly. Would you repeat what you have just uttered. she asked, forcing herself to smile politely.

"I know im sorry..."

Juria looked down at the floor, ashamed that she had to be so up front about it and treat the professor as if she was just a worker and not respected.

"Kiara sent me, and i really do need the poitons, will you please make them, there is no one else that would probally be able to make them so im sorry to bug you but they are needed"

Viper glared, so she had heard the other witch correctly....

"Madame, I am a potions mistress. My job is to make sure no one loses a limb while they are in this classroom and to make sure that the Slytherins don't cause the other students to have a breakdown. Nothing more. If you are in desperate need of potions, do what everyone else does and go to the apothecary like all the others have done! Did Kiara not inform you of this?" she asked impatiently.

Casey knocked on the door hoping she wasn't disturbing the professor, she held the box for the illusion potion as well as a book on the procedure on how to make it.

She could brew is after making this mouths supply of Wolfbane potion she just hoped the professor didn't mind her using a cauldron for alittle longer.

Juria held her emotions in, but inside she was terribly embarresed.

"Im sorry, but... I didnt know who else to go...im sorry"

Juria nodded and calmly walked out of the classroom, though she wanted to run out of there.

Juria then decided to go to the headmistress to see where she could get poitons, she didnt want to have to speak with the poitons mistress again, at least not in that mood.

Viper nodded, annoyed. Remembering there had been a knock on the door, she called out, "Enter!"

Casey walked in to the office.

"Good evening Professor Viper, Umm I was wondering if I could use a cauldron for a bit so I could make this months Wolfsbane and do my own on the side project. Is that alright you won't even know I am here"

Viper raised an eyebrow in genuine interest. "What side project?"

Casey looked down at the box of ingredints in her arms. As it is turned out the illision potion had been her mothers invention. Professor Viper would probably know what potion it was as soon as she layed out the ingrediants. So there was no point in lieing to her.

"It is the illusion potion" she said hoping the professor wouldn't be interested in what she planned to use it for.

Viper nodded in understanding. She pondered for a moment what to do in this situation. More than likely, Casey was trying to find a solution to the current the dilemma. The current dilemma that was technically Viper's fault. Sighing, Viper stepped aside and uttered a piece of advice. "Add a hint of asphodel to start off, it'll keep the heat from getting erratic as it tends to do with the combination of ingredients you are using. The illusion potion is a very fickle one. The slightest change in temperature and its ruined."

Casey smiled "Thank you Professor Viper" said as she went over the nearest cauldron and began to set up for Wolfsbane first and then the Illusion.

Viper nodded as she silently watched Casey brew the illusions potion, not agreeing or disagreeing.

Finishing and placing the Wolfsbane and Illusion into their viles. Casey cleaned her mess up so it wasn't like she was even there.

The illusion was ready all she had to do now was set it and tell the mer people what she wanted them to see. Their kings heart.

" I will see you later Professor Viper" she said at the door.

Viper nodded once more, wondering if she would regret letting the young Hufflepuff brew an illusion potion. Sighing as the hammered Professor-mode part in her mind pressed down on her, she scribbled a quick note to Kiara, informing her of Casey's newly brewed potion.

Amy and Aiden ran to Professor Viper office, they were worried things may get out of hand with Dracovan only one to handle him would be his sister well at least the hoped.

"Professor Viper!! Professor Viper!!" they as one and pounded on her door.

Viper raised an eyebrow at the banging and opened the door. "What is it?" she hissed at the panicking twins.

The when panicked Amy and Aiden often go extremely into "twin mode" often not saying to words before the other took over.

"Professor.." Amy starts.

"..it is"

"your brother."

"We think he..'

"Went to far"

"in his plans.."

"He wanted to.."

"Kill Professor DeLanquar's"

Viper swore before she fled past the twins in a state of panic, fear and confusion towards the Head of Gryffindor's chambers, not caring about her brother's plans. Only that the last of her kin may be in danger, assuming he was alright.

"Heaven help me." she thought to herself as she ran.

((Viper is on her way to Eglantine's personal chambers))

Ana walked up to Viper's office door and knocked with a knuckle.
She needed the Slytherin Head of House's permission for her, Darien and the twins to visit her family home.

"Enter!" Viper called out in a drunken haze, playing with her third bottle.

Ana pushed open the door and entered.
"Hello Professor."
Was it just her, or did the Professor seem a bit drunk?
"Is everything okay professor?"
