Withdrawing a letter from her bag and glancing around, Ana's sharp eyes scanned the speed of the owls around her.
Realising it would take all day, she turned to the man behind the desk, putting on her best innocent face.
"Excuse me sir, but which is the fastest owl you have?"
He smiled. "277. 15 galleons."
Ana made paid for the delivery and tied the letter to the owl's leg.
"He'll bring back your reply within two hours."
"Thank you."
Ana turned and left the shop, watching the owl become a speck in the sky and vanish from view. The assistant hadn't been lying, that bird was fast.
