My Office

Ciaran looked slightly confused still but accepted what had been said without questions...that was until the young woman's name was mentioned. "Eleutheria..." he muttered, his eyes widening. "Kiara, that wouldn't be her niece...that's her daughter." He shook his head.
"Not ta be saying ya wrong, Professor. But are ya sure it was Eleutheria."

A raven eyebrow arched upwards at the news. "Daughter? I was under the impression she had no children..." Viper recalled Eglantine mentioning a miscarriage, yes, but not a living child. Perhaps she lied... again.

The witch frowned slightly at the wizard's response. "Eleutheria is not a common name. What else could I have mistaken it with?"

Kiara's eyes widened at the name Eleutheria and the image of the little girl in the car, in the memory Ciaran had shown her. Didn't he also say she was dead? but Eleutheria was such a uncommon name it couldn't be a coincidence.

Nodding to Ciaran achnolaged she remembered them name and the memory.

She turned to Viper, "I think it is time we should meet Eleutheria Delanquar, something doesn't add up here. Eglantine had a daughter named Eleutheria who was killed along with Richard, 10 years ago. Eglantine had her memory modified to forget her" Kiara exlpained to the two Professores.

Sevastyan's eyes widened upon hearing news that Eglantine had had a daughter. According to what little he knew about the professor's family, Edwin was her only child. However, he kept silent. Even about the name. Sevastyan was pretty sure it couldn't have been anything other than Eleutheria... it was an odd name: how could it be anything but? Yet, on the other hand... if this was as much of a shock to them as it was him, he couldn't really blame the other wizard for asking confirmation. He did, however, offer Amaranth a light squeeze of her hand.

"Vy vould anyvone vant to forget their own child?" the Russian asked incredulously, though turned to leave as soon as Amaranth was ready to. Speculation could be offered en route insofar as he was concerned. "I vill need to lead Morana back outside vhere she belongs, but I vill catch up. Dungeons, right?" he offered to the group at large, but his eyes traveled back to and lingered on a pair of emeralds. Amaranth emeralds, to be specific.

"Maybe she didn't modify her own memory." Ciaran offered. "And as for why she might ifn she did. She thought her lass was killed." His blue eyes were filled with a deep regret for a moment as he thought about the memory. What if it had been his son and wife that had been murdered? Would he have done the same as Eglantine? Or did she? Maybe Charles wiped her memory so he could protect his niece...

Kiara turned to Ciaran when he spoke , It was possible Charles could have wipped her mind of it, he had done it to Ciaran, that was different though.

She could see Eglantine being in alot of pain over the death of her only child, what parent wouldn't be? Yes it was even more possible that Eglantine eraced her own memories.

Then she saw the regret in Ciaran's eyes, she moved her hand to his and gentally have it a squeace. Offering what ever comfort it brought him.

"The most painfull thing a parent can have happento them is having there child die" it is possible she did it by her own hand." Kiara added.

"Charles isn't beyond making deals, as long as he gets what he wants on his end, perhaps Eglantine managed to make a deal with him to spear the life of her daughter provided neither of them had any memory of the other." she offered.

Viper stayed silent as she absorbed all the information given. Despite not having any children of her own, she could imagine the trauma Eglantine had gone through, though she didn't allow her expression to betray these thoughts, opting to look neutral and expressionless. She acknowledged Sevastyan's gesture by lightly trailing a finger down one of his.

She nodded in affirmation of Sevastyan's question, keeping her gaze one his. "Yes, my classroom."

"Shall we be off then? There's a bottle of veritaserum in my desk in case we need it." Viper offered, looking to Ciaran and Kiara.

Kiara nodded and stood up, she saw anxious to meet the girl who could be the daughter of Eglantine Delanquar.

"Yes lets go, and we will see about the veritaserum Viper" she said heading for the door, not really know what to expect from their newest guest.

((to the potions classroom?))

Ciaran said nothing, nodding in agreement as he followed Kiara toward the dungeons.

Sevastyan still didn't quite understand why anyone would want to erase their memories of a child that had passed. True, there was pain, but was there not also joy in having known the child for at least a short time? He didn't comment any further, though. Who was he to say what one should or should not do? He hadn't even experienced parenthood yet. Perhaps they were right... if there was indeed a right or wrong answer to this matter of opinion.

The fact in his mind remained though that while he grieved for Nikolai even after all of these years, he would not for the world want to erase the memories of his cousin from his mind. There was so much fun and joy... and mischief. The fun memories were worth the inevitable pain that would emerge sooner or later. Or, at least it was worth it to him.

"I vill be there momentarily," he murmured to Amaranth, giving her a chaste kiss on the cheek before following her out of the office. Sevastyan closed the door behind him, and made sure it was secure before striding up to the thestral.

As the rest of the group headed toward the dungeons, Sevastyan climbed onto Morana and led her in a more comfortable trot down the stairs and back to the outdoors...



((I'm gonna make a quick post on the grounds to have Sevastyan let Morana back outside, but then he'll be headed for the potions classroom.))

Viper nodded in comprehension to Sevastyan's murmur, accepting his kiss with a small smile. As shallow as it seemed, especially considering the circumstances, Viper couldn't help but feel as though she was the third wheel, the odd one out, without Sevastyan beside her.

Wanting to get things over with as soon as possible, she led the way to the Dungeons without another word.

((Whenever Kiara returns to her office...))

A scroll sat, tightly rolled, on Kiara's desk. It was black and tied securely with a thick red ribbon. Within the scroll were listed the names of the purgers targets.

The ink was blood and freshly written. In a thin script under the names was written the following words.

Kiara walked out of her personal chambers and in to her office it was still early in the morning, 5: 30 at least and she would be head down to have breakfast soon.

After slipping her rode on she headed for the door, when she spotted a croll on her desk.

"Hmm? whats this" she said as picked it up and opened it.

As she read through it her face lost all its colour.. Everyone was on it, including her self.

"Oh my..." she said as she dropped to her knees.

"Even Ethan, but.... I have got to warn them... tell them" she said there was distint look of fear in her eyes. Everyone in the world she cared about was on an assigns list.

She got up to leave, but not before a glint of fire came to her eyes and she charmed a letter to go to back to Charles with the simple words of :

"Go to hell"

It was also charmed to blew up in flames in his hand....

Then she turned around and headed to Sevastyan's Quarters His entire family and Viper was on it, he should know first so he could warn them.



But who to could she go to first

A golden coloured Hawk flew into the Headmistress' office.

Kiara walked in to her office, she was totally exsausted, mentally and phyically as she collaped in to her chair. Then she noticed the golden hawk.

"Now what...?"

The hawk dropped a letter right at the Headmistress' desk and flew off.

Kiara sighed, she was half tempted to leave it until morning, but the reaponsible Headmistress part of her wouldn't let her.

So she picked up the letter and read it.

The letter read:

Dear Headmistress,

I have just been informed, that my nephew Armando Casillas, who I know to be dead, is in fact alive and teaching at your school. If you do so deny these allegations, I will inform your Ministry that you are hidding a convict by the name of Calista Vaight, which is a felony on your part. Be prepared, I shall arrive there shortly expecting a full explanation of these events.

Kiara growned after reading the letter.

"Oh just bloody perfect.... an angry Casillas is all I need.." she said with a sigh.

"How did he find out?"

First Reginald Vaight about Ana and now Ferderico Casillas about Armando and Calista.

"Why do I get the feeling his temper is just as bad as Mr, Vaights?" she wondered.

Laura Amello-Addams shepherded her three children through the vast halls of Hogwarts, having to stop more than once for to explain something or retrieve a wayward son or daughter from getting too inquisitive and exploring on their own. Finally, after an adventurous trek, they came upon the gargoyle.

"I'm here to see the Headmistress about enrolling my daughters here during the next school year," she told the gargoyle.

All three children gasped in awe as it jumped aside, and chattered excitedly to one another as they headed toward the door.

Laura couldn't help but smile, offered a half-hearted "shh," and knocked upon the door.

Kiara looked up and hide the letter, she hoped it wasn't Mr. Casillas not yet at least, she couldn't garrentee she could hold her temper with the angry pure blood.

"You may come in, the door is opened" she said as she waved her hand to open the door.

"Was that the Headmistress, Mama?" asked Erica.

"Is she nice?" inquired Heather.

"Yes, and I'm sure she's nice, sweetheart," Laura replied and then put a finger to her lips as she opened the door.

The children preceded their mother, looking around in awe. Erica and Heather were almost huddled side-by-side, holding on to their little brother to make certain he didn't wander off. Laura entered mere moments after they did, and guided them further once the door had closed.

"Greetings... Headmistress Kiara I presume?" asked Laura courteously, extending her hand in greeting once she was close enough to do so. "My name is Laura Amello. Please excuse the little ones - I couldn't find a sitter, and our family House-elf is on a special errand."

The three children immediately focused their pairs of brown eyes onto the woman they didn't know. Both girls were smiling brightly. Valerio, on the other hand, was simply beaming with a grin so much like his father's expression.

His father, of course, being one Ethan Addams.

Kiara stood and extended her hand to Laura "It is a pleasure to meet you, welcome to Hogwarts, Miss. Amello"

Then she turned and smiled at the kids, they looked familiar.... "Oh of course those are Ethans kids.." her smile widened. Boy would Ethan be relieved.

"There is no need to excuse them Miss Amello, this is a school after all, they are welcome here" she said still smiling.

"So how May I help you today?" she asked.

Laura smiled and shook the other woman's hand. "Thank you," she replied with a nod of her own blonde head, about to explain the matter at hand when prompted, but a certain eight-year-old cut her off:

"Is there really a giant squid in the Lake?" asked Valerio cheerily.

"Shh," Laura half-chuckled and placed a gentle hand upon her son's head. "Go take a seat, the three of you," she added before returning her attention to Kiara.

"I was wondering if by any chance you would consider enrolling my daughters - Erica and Heather Addams - here at your school, Headmistress, as they will be turning eleven come June," Laura asked politely. "As we live in France at present, I wanted to make certain of their educational destination before we actually received a letter."

"And me, too, when I'm old enough!" Valerio cheered happily from his seat. At least he had waited until the adults seemed to have paused in their conversation this time...

Kiara nodded to the energetic 8 year old, she could see alot of Ethan in him that was for sure.

Kiara then turned to Laura, as she nodded her head in confirmation.

"Wonderful to her...." she said as she summond the list of names for all the students that would be attending the next year and she checked it.

Going down the list she smiled "I seems their names are you already on the list for a owl this summer there isn't anything you need to worry about. Miss Amello"

"I am sure Professor Addams will quite happy to hear this" she said with a wink.
