My Office

((Yep that's what I was talking about XD))

An owl swooped into Kiara's office window, depositing a copy of the Daily Prophet unto her desk. Big black letter stood out and read "Charity McDoogle Found Dead!" The gruesome details revealed in the article below, stating how she died, but nothing whatsoever of the culprit or any clues pointing to him or her.

Kiara lifted her head from her desk, she hated cold water in duced fevers. They totally left her whipped.

Looking a the Profit and her eyes widened as he picked it up, "Oh no, now how this this happen?" Getting up her walked out of her office.

"Thank you." Bella took the water. "Headmistress, you seem to be very nice." she commented smoothly. "I hope nothing happens to you." and with her final statement the young woman walked out of the office.

Kiara shook her head, "Now that was weird, what do you think Saturn?"

The pheonix gave her a glare, "I think you should be in bed"

kiara laughed softly "I know, but I have work to do"

((After taking Eglantine to hospital wing))

Kiara walked slowly to her office and looked at the gargoyle.

"Don't let Professor Viper in without my approval first" she said coldly and she cast a wandless protection ward in the gargoyle so Viper couldn't force her way in out of anger.

Once in her office she let her self fall into her chair.

Closing her eyes she whispered "Severus, keep an eye on Viper for me, she has made up her mind on whose she is now"

"Hmm, fine I haven't talked to her yet anyway, could be interesting, but why are you letting her stay in the castle?" he asked.

Kiara chuckled, "Simple, Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer"

Eglantine did not knock on the door, she merely stood there. She wanted to see Kiara but at the same time wasn't sure what to say or what to do. Maybe Kiara would be angry at her... for what Cerise did and almost did.

She finally decided to risk it. Tapping her knuckles against the door, she formulated a plan... she would assure Kiara that she was in full command of her mind and body... and that she was rested and well. If Kiara was angry at her, she would resign and go to Nice. Simple plan that would work, she thought, hopefully. The best laid plans...

Kiara sighed tieredly, Eglantine.

"Well at least it isn't Viper yet...."

Wipping her forehead which still shined with sweat from her fever, she pulled her hair out of her face and put it in a pony tail.

"Come in Eglantine, it is opened"

Eglantine rolled into the room. She noted that Kiara looked terrible and feverish, but said nothing. After all, she thought sadly, it is no longer my place to say anything.

"Headmistress, I wanted to assure you that I am control of my magic once again." she stated clearly.

Kiara nodded

"Yes Eglantine I can see that and I am relieved that you are, you have no idea how relieved.... but why didn't you say anything, why didn't tell me you were having trouble? I could have helped before it got to the point that did... Just why?"

"It would have happened no matter what." Eglantine said softly. "She fought me day and night, every hour, moment. If I involved you, she would have only fought harder. Viper's statements broke the control I had..."

Kiara clunched her fists and threads of blue fire streched her way up her arm.

"Viper....yes What a fool I was not to see through her game earlier. No longer..." Kiara looked at the empty portait frame that has once held Severus Snape.

"You were not a fool. She is a very good manipulator and we both trusted her, despite the fact that we knew that." She tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

Kiara sighed and leaned back in her chair, "Still..... it is unnerving how easily she got into my head, she brought up points that made sence dispite how ridiculus it sounds at first....."

She rummed her hands on her arms as if she was cold and changed the subject.

"So how are you truthfully feeling now that Cerises is gone? I told you magic breaks its own rules no didn't I?"

"I feel weak." Eglantine responded softly, not meeting Kiara's eyes. "As if part of me is missing and only a shadow is left behind." she lifted a hand to cover her mouth.

"But I could have just become used to the power of having a dark lord's soul in my body and mind... It may pass."

Kiara smiled sadly.

"You are no slotch in the magical deptartment either Eglantine I am sure you will feel better soon just give it time. hopefully both of us will be good as new in a few days"

"Yes, I had noticed that you appear to be under the weather. Is that from "rescuing" Edwin?"

Kiara nodded "But not to worry, my reactions to cold water are temporary, the fever will go away on a few days. on its own"

Eglantine nodded absently. "That is good." she murmured.

"Umm, now that Cerise is gone will Edwin becoming back?"

Eglantine sighed. "Maybe...but it may be too dangerous. I do not want a incident like last time to occur again. I will have to give it a great deal of thought."

Kiara nodded "I can understand that, entierly your choice, of course It is just you seemed so happy when you were with him."

Eglantine winced at Kiara's words. She would have been happy with her son, had a voice not been telling her terrible things every time she did anything with him. In a short amount of time she had grown terrified of being with her son. Afraid she would either hurt him or else kill him...

Now she could rest in the knowledge that she could control herself again. But Edwin was still an adventurous child, which a need to explore and endanger himself. For now, Esis would be able to watch him closer in Nice.

Kiara did not miss the wince at her words and she felt bad.

"Cerise ruined it for you didn't she?" she asked softly but she didn't really expect a answer.

Kiara sighed it appeared she only slowed the inevitable.

"I' am sorry I guess I wasn't much help with helping you with Cerise was I? turned her into a devil on your shoulder"

"No, you were only trying to help." Eglantine defended. "There was little time and I had already killed..."
