Kiara rolled her eyes "Oh and it's my fault the ministry doesn't do their job, you try getting inside that cup. Figure out what wrong and fix it! It won't let you, look at the thing to closely and it will get you. In fact why don't you take all anger out on that might do everyone some good. There is Nothing more I can do Mr. Vaight I have already talked with your daughter she knew perfectly well what she was doing"

Reginald snarled. "The headmistress can't do anything about it. Useless. I can see I have wasted my time being under the assumption you could deal with a problem."

He turned on his heel and stormed out.

The goblet would be in pieces by the time he'd finished with it...

Miranda glanced around the old school, just breathing in the moment. It had been decades since she had been here and to her delight, not much had changed.

Raising her left hand, she knocked on the door, waiting to be allowed in.

Kiara breath out a sighed 'That better not be Mr, Vaight again..." she mumbled. Nah couldn't be he wouldn't knock.

"Come on in the door is opened" she said with a wave of her hand. As she tidied up her desk. Paper were everywhere after her yelling match with Mr Vaight.

Miranda smiled brightly as she entered the room. Her first impression of the Headmistress was that she was quite. Not that it was a bad thing in anyway. If anything, all the power to her for that. By the way she was composed, clearly was confident in her abilities.

"Good day, Headmistress." she greeted with a smile.

Kiara smiled back "Good day to you as well Mam"

With one last flick of her hand all the paper were back in order.

"I am Kiara, you are the new School counselor am I right?" Waving her hand again she conjured a chair.

"Have a seat, anything I can you with help with?" she said with a smile.

"Thank you." Miranda nodded as she sat down. "And please none of that 'Mam' business. Titles build barriers, barriers strain relationships. Please, call me Miranda." the witch smiled.

"Actually I just came by to check in, meet you in person, introduce myself properly."

Kiara smiled she liked Miranda " I couldn't agree with you more, you can of course call me Kiara everyone else does. Headmistress sounds strange, especially coming from people who are older then me"

"And it is wonderful to meet you Miranda, I am sure you will like it at Hogwarts" she said

"Oh, well thank you, Kiara. I'm sure that I will as well." she hesitated for a moment before as though her next question would be a bit too personal.

"Kiara, I wonder...how is the relationship between the staff members? As a counselor, not only do I look after the emotional and mental welfare of the students, but of the staff as well. After all, it would be a real pity if the students suffer because of a few..discords...between staffmembers, isn't it?" Miranda inquired gently so she wouldn't sound intruding.

"Are there any particular students and staff members you'd like me to keep an eye on? Or perhaps have a little chat with?" she said, winking slyly. "Anonymously of course."

Kiara laughed slightly 'If you had been here a few months ago I would have pulled you to our Heads and Slytherin and Gryffindor they fought like cats and dogs a while back. But now, No I think everyone is getting along beautifully now. Even Professor Viper has softened up a bit" she said.

Miranda stiffened the moment Viper's name was mentioned. "Professor Viper? Yes I have heard of her. She works here too does she? Well, I'll certainly look forward to meeting her..." realizing the direction the conversation may lead to, she quickly smiled and added. "I can't wait to meet all of the staff really. I'm just thrilled to be back!"

Kiara smiled "I am glad to hear it Miranda, I think you will get along wonderfully with them" she said with a nod.

"So you have been to Hogwarts before then, as a student?" Kiara asked.

"Erm yes. For a bit anyway. I rotated around schools, finally graduating under the care of a private tutor. It was during the days of Grindelwald, you see..." Miranda offered, regretting that she had let it slip that she had been here before.

Kiara nodded somberly "I see, dark times..."

Then offering a firendly smile she said "well I hope you will find hogwarts more enjoyable, this time round, there is always something going on around here with the triwizard tournemant and all. Lets say you will not be without anything to do"

"Yes I heard of that, along with the second champion. Please, do tell the poor student to not hesitate to see me, if she chooses. My door is always open."

Kiara nodded "I will, I am concerned as to why she thought she should enter in the first place.. I couldn't stress enough how dangerous this tournament is and she entered anyway" Kiara said with a sigh.

Miranda smiled softly, reminiscing of her old life. The life she chose to leave behind, though the decision never got any easier, even after all these years. Slowly, she nodded. "I can understand why she did." she replied, her voice thick with emotion.

"It may seem wrong to us, but in her mind, its logical. I've known more than my share of people who think that: Die for the glory, for life is nothing if you are nameless."

Kiara sighed "Nameless? This tournament brings 15 minutes of fame for the winner and that is it. Yesterday news as it were to the rest of the public, she want glory and remembrance? she will be disappointed in it. She is remembered through the people she forms relationships with along the way.. Not be winning over rated contests"

Miranda laughed bitterly, the girl they spoke of reminding her of so many she had known in what felt like another life to her. "Perhaps, but to her, its a jewel in her crown of glory. A remarkable crown so few can acheive. Kiara, this victory would mark her path to greater victories."

Kiara shock her head "Does she remind you of someone? you see to already know her pretty well for some who hasn't even met her yet" Kiara asked

Miranda stiffened and let out a snall laugh, but whether from nervousness or to help ease the atmosphere one could not say. "Kiara I have been a counselor for many years. It is only natural for me to undertsand how minds work." she replied logically.

Kiara notice the older woman tense but chose not to say anything about it. It was her business.

"So what made you want to come back to Hogwarts? just out of curiosity?" Kiara asked.

Miranda smiled softly. She had her particular reasons but she wouldn't share them. At least...not yet. "It's been decades since I've seen this school. I suppose it was calling me back."

Kiara nodded "I can understand that, Hogwarts has away of calling us back I suppose, A parts of it's magic it guess"

"Indeed. It seems one can never stay away too long..." Miranda mused, her eyes fading to a faraway expression. Quite like the clan. You can run as far and fast as you can, but you will always be pulled back...
