My Office

Ana smiled. "Okay Professor, I'll try to control him..."
Darien suddenly had a thought. "Is that Ravenclaw going to sue me for assualt or anything? 'Cos I'd like to know now, to give my lawyers an advance warning... They get picky about things like this."
He was deadly serious.

"Miss Katelynne is still recovering in the hospital wing at the moment, I will talk with her about what she plans to do later. We don't know exactly why she collapes in such pain yet. Could have been a muscle spasim for all we know. I will let you know what happens, she needs to inform me and her parents if she wishes to sue you"

Darien nodded. "Alright."
Ana rolled her eyes. "He means thanks."

Kiara smiled at the siblings.

"Very well, unless there is anything else you think I should know about, you may go.... And Mr. Vaight should something like this happen again I want you to come to me first. Don't wait for another frightend student to tell about it"

Darien froze.
"Did you see the...the three brooms thing then?"

"Miss Katelynne told me what happened and she mentioned your names, before she collapsed. But I didn't see her memory of what happened."

Kiara raised her eye brow "do you not remember what happened after you jumped in the Pensive?"

Darien shuffled his feet.
"I wasn't really watching...I was busy trying to make her leave the memory."
Ana bit her lip. "Did she show you how it actually started...before the hurricane?"

Kiara shook her head.

"No, but i know Miss Katelynne can be a bit cheeky.... From what you two have told me she may have over stepped her bounds, am I right?"

"She burnt Ana!" Darien blurted without thinking.
Ana rolled her eyes. "We had a little disagreement, well a little spell fight. She heated my bottle of butterbeer, and I touched it. Of course, I was burnt, not badly and Darien lost it in the moment."
Darien's eyes blazed. "It was her own fault, she deserved it."
Ana ignored him. "Yes and he felt it necessary to cause a mini hurricane. Then he transformed and shoved me out the way."

Darien shrugged. "I could've bitten her...but I didn't. Don't I get some credit for that? Would you prefer it if I'd just mauled her?"
Ana hid a grin.

Kiara sighed.

"No, I would prefer it if you didn't maul her... Do that and I will have no choice but to expell you. However as I said she will attempt to stay away from you, or at least I pray to merlin she will."

Taking a deep breath, her mind traveled back to her earier converation with Casey Silvertounge.

"Mr. Vaight how do you get along with Werewolves? in their human form I mean?"

Ana blinked in surprise...Was there a werewolf in the school too?
Oh well, she could hardly be judgemental after Darien's wolf form... it was her fault he was a natural animagus at all.
"Um...I don't really know..." Darien bit his lip slightly. "I don't think I know any werewolves. Would depend who it was I guess...and I'm not sure how the whole pack dynamics would work out. Even in human form, the wolf pack idea affects me."
Ana was tempted to ask if there was one at the school, but decided against it. If there was a werewolf, she doubted they would want everyone to know what they were.
She glanced at her watch. "Melin- Professor, can I go now? I've got to be somewhere. See you later Darien!"
Darien watched her leave, closing the office door behind her. "Professor, not to be rude, but why did you wonder if I was okay around werewolves?"

Casey walked up to the Headmistress's office again, she couldn't shake the feeling of another wolf being around and so close to full moon her instinct was even stronger. So she wanted to ask the Headmistress if there was another wolf in the school.

Lifting her hand she knocked on the door.

Darien felt a prickling at the base of his spine.
A wolf? Knocking on the door?
He fought to clear his mind and keep his human brain. The last thing he needed was to attack another student.

"Well because there's......
Then there was a knock at the door, it was Miss. Silvertougne.

Now what? They would still meet eachother weather she turned the Vaight siblings away or not. Then again they were bound to meet sometime, now would be the best sinse they are being supervised. She could attempt to interfer if things got out of hand.

"Becasue there is a Werewolf attending Hogwarts as well, it may be best if you meet now I think instead of in the hall and have something go wrong"

Sighing she lifted her wand and unlocked the door.

"You may come in Miss Silvertounge"

Darien's nose grew, becoming hairier and wolf-like. His ears grew too, his face sprouting hair.
There was a werewolf.
Fighting to keep calm, he recognised the girl from the Quidditch pitch. It was close to a full moon, so she was more noticably wolf.
A low growl began in his throat, and he shook his head to clear it.
"Um, hi."
He struggled to maintain his human form. It was getting harder, but his will was iron.

Casey pushed the door opened, and her senses went on over drive.

Standing in the middle of the room was a boy alittle older then her and the sent of wolf was coming form him.

She glared at the over boy and she could feel her amber eyes widen.

She had to restrain her self from actually growling but took out her wand in a defesive stance. He was bigger then her after all, but she wouldn't let him push her around either. If it came to that anyway, it all depended how he reacted to her.

He noticed her take out her wand and casually replaced his in his pocket.
In that moment, his concentration wavered.
He transformed.

Kiara was up from her seat the moment Miss Silvertounge pulled her wand, and she quickly ran inbetween the two students as Mr. Vaight transformed.

Maybe running in between them was stupid or susidal but she wouldn't have two student kill eachother in her office.

"Back off the both of you!"

The Headmistress' words somehow connected with his human brain.
Darien couldn't transform back, but he managed to speak english for a moment.
"Wolf...dominance...thing..." he blurted, before his wolf side resurfaced. His teeth were bared and he howled loudly.
He was the top male, but then he was the only male.
Darien's mind returned and he returned to his normal self.
"I wouldn't want to be in your bad books on the full moon."

Casey lowered her wand she was breathing hard and her heart was pounding.

"Wouldn't matter, wolfsbane potion helps me keep my human mind, I won't attack you if you don't attack me"

Darien grinned.
"Okay. Sorry about that by the way. My wolf side has issues with dominance etc."

Casey drew a breath making her heart calm down.

"I am sorry to.. instinct went in over drive, and it didn't help I have been smelling your sent since hogsmeade. Closer to full moon the more highened my sences are"

Casey moved closer, hesitently at first she had never met a wolf animagus before.

'Your not like other animagi are you? you are much more one with your animal form." she said.

"Yes...I didn't learn. It was an instinct, when I was in trouble. My young magic just made me an animagus. I didn't have a choice." Darien shrugged.
"I just have to deal with it...when Ravenclaws aren't jinxing my sister and provoking me..." He muttered.

Casey smiled "Luckly I am not in Ravenclaw, nor do I have a habit of provoking people...."

She stopped for a moment and then added


"Intentionaly anyway, so I don't think we will have a problem"

She held out her hand.

"Friends?"

Friends...
Darien's thoughts flicked to his dead friend...to the ones who'd wanted to be his friends until he was an animagus.
He reached out and shook Casey's hand.
"Yeah alright...hang on, just check the world won't end because a Slytherin and Hufflepuff are now friends...Nope, it's not raining blood so I think we're okay."
He grinned.
