Viper stared at the scroll in her hand, she opened it and skimmed through it quickly. Like Englantine's her's also burst into flames once it was read.

Mae watched intently, wondering why the scrolls kept bursting into flame, but shrugging, she kept her eyes on the door.

"Yes, he also hates having his eye gouged out." Viper stated, holding the handkerchief in front of the Professor. "And if anything, he's lucky I didn't kill him. I hate having hexes aimed at my robes!" she said, brushing off her robes.

Viper jerked away from the Professor's wand once she realized she had it drawn nearby her shoulder. "What are you doing? Trying to kill me for him?"

Mae smiled, but she kept her eyes on the door, then she looked up, "What about the rest of the school? They'll be safe if Edmund tries to attack them right?"

Eglantine stared at the bloodied handkerchief for a moment and then extracted a hand for it.

Mae smiled at Professor Viper's comment, she agreed, it was best to protect the school and people within, healing could be done later.

(ooh, sorry. forgot to mention. Viper has this medical condition where she can't feel pain. its her main issue when she's dueling. she wont feel it if her leg gets ripped off. so her resistance to the healing isn't because of moral fiber, lol)
