Personal Quarters

Kiara shock her head, she did not trust the attacker to just be satisfied with what he had already done. What if he came back? or went after someone close to Eglantine? No her being ingnorant of the attacker didn't make him any less of a danger.

"Eglantine keeping is Identity from me will not help, who is to say he won't go after anyone else anyway?....."

Shaking her head she continued,

"Eglantine we already watched Ciaran's memory of what happened, you already tokd me someone is after you. I can't help it you don't tell me who it is. Horatio and Ciaran already know someone is after you. We just can't figure out who." she explained.

Eglantine said nothing. For a moment, she thought about erasing Kiara's memory. Doubtless, she had the ability to, but she found that she couldn't bear the idea.

"Fine..." she whispered. "I'll tell you."

Kiara waited by Eglantine's bedside, wondering who it could be and the hell they would face if she were to ever come across him, for all the pain he had cause the ones the she loved.

"When ever you are ready Eglantine, and thank you it would drove me insane knowing you were in danger and not knowing who was behind it"

"Charles DeLanquar." she muttered, her voice very soft.

Kiara's eyes flashed "Delanquar? he is related to you? thats just....he is related to Richard then? how?"

This was just terrible, the next chance she got she would make the wards stronger. If it did any thing to keep Eglantine safe.

"His brother." she answered. "Richard was a muggle, but Charles was born a wizard. He was able to keep that from his family and even attended Hogwarts without them knowing about the magical community."

Kiara bit her lip "Was he the one that attacked you and Richard the night?"

There were so many questions going through her mind, had this wizard been Ciaran's boss? had he altered his memory? would he go after those close to Eglantine? weather they knew who he was or not.

"He was apart of the group...and I spared him, because he was Richard's brother." she confessed. "I thought he was like Ciaran...but then my father's letter arrived..."

Kiara paled, so one of them was still alive.."He killed his own neice" forcing the tears in her eyes to remain in her eyes and attempt to hide them from Eglantine she said.

"What did the letter say?"

Eglantine shook her head. "You know enough...maybe too much. And the letter went beyond this." she wondered briefly if Kiara was beginning or already had begun to hate her for lying to her...

Kiara sighed "You protect me to much Eglantine, and I am so sorry about your father...." she said.

"Alright now fine you don't have to tell me about the letter, but least tell me about this Charles Delanquar, how far would he go? What are his reason for comeing after you? "

Eglantine bit her lip. "He desires me dead...and the rest of my family. But he will stop if the price of keeping me alive is greater than delivering news of my death. He is one of the last "knights" from the purging and is handsomely rewarded for every dead dark witch or wizard. I have escaped him four times now..."

Kiara eyes darkened, the bloody purgeing... It was supposed to have ended, it was for this reason alone she didn't tell many people her last name.

"What price would it take for him to leave you alone?" she asked.

"Unfortunately, the price would have to be someone more worthwhile killing." she sat up, and levitated herself to hover beside the bed. "Who is watching Edwin?" she asked, heading for the door.

"More worth while kill.....I bet the last remaining relative of Voldemort would fit that discription....hmmm... there is a way" Kiara's mind formed a plan that involved a secret she had not told a soul about she could take Mr. Delanquar off Eglantines back if she timed it perfectly that is....

When Eglantine got up Kiara imediately got to her side.

"You are not got going anywhere Eglantine Horatio is watching Edwin, now back to bed this second, you still need to rest."

Eglantine turned to look at Kiara, the levitation charm barely keeping her feet off the floor. She sighed heavily. "Very well. But I do not want Juria or Horatio back in here." she whispered, her shaking hands gripping the bed to help keep her up.

Kiara sighed heavitly "What about your injuries Eglantine? you can't stay like this, I can help but I am not a healer" she said worriedly as she stayed at Eglantines side so she didn't collapes.

"I can tend to them." Eglantine muttered. "I've tended to worse."

Kiara shook her head sadly. " I may be able to keep Juria at bay... but Horatio, no he would worry about you to much. you can't block him out Eglantine, he won't let me and won't try to stop him. Just let him be with you Eglantine Please"

Eglantine said nothing, but slowly nodded. She wanted Horatio to help her to her rooms and there was no way he would let her tend herself.
"Thank you, Kiara." she stated, softly. Her green eyes looking meekly at the younger woman.

Kiara sighed and shook her head "Well at least you will have someone...." she said.

"Do you want me to get him, he can take you to you rooms where he can help tend to you injuries there? you can take the floo to you your quarters" she said if this was the best she was going to get out of Eglantine she was going to take it.

Eglantine nodded. "Sounds lovely."

Kiara nodded and moved to the door "Horatio? could you come in here please" she asked as she opened the door.

Kiara had barely finished the statement, when Horatio entered the room. "What took so long? Did she tell you? Why are you up?" Hurrying forward, he lifted Eglantine off the floor.

Kiara sighed Eglantine was more stubborn then she was.

"Yes she did tell me what happened.... it was more then a simple fall Horatio..."

Looking over at Eglantine she said "You will tell him what you told me right? he should know"
