"What bubbles?" Edwin asked, enjoying all the floating.

Kiara smiled "I take it you have never had a bubble bath before...These are bubbles"

With wave of her hand a dosen or so bubbles floated into the air in front of Edwin.

Edwin giggled and tried to pop them, waving his arms in the air. "In the bath?" he laughed. He wanted a bubble bath, it sounded fun.

Kiara nodded and gently let her floating charm set Edwin on the ground.

"Yes, come on I'll set one up for you, would you like that?" she aked as she held out her hand.

"Yes, Kiara." Edwin nodded, grabbing her offered hand with his. "All sticky." he apologized, looking at his other hand. Viper had been tucked under his arm.

"Don't worry we will take care of the skickyness" she said as she walked toward the bathroom.

Once in the bathroom she turned on the water and charmed it so it wouldn't be to hot for the boy and so it would produced bubbles. It was one of the problems she had, she couldn't tell if something was to hot or not, since heat didn't burn her.

She got Edwin ready for bath and also conjured a few bath toys.

"Here you go, it isn't to hot is it?"

Edwin shook his head. "No." he stated, splashing around in the tub. "Pop!" he laughed, smacking a bath toy against a pile of floating bubbles.

Kiara smiled, though she was being asulted with memories of Serena her daughter, she used to love bubbled baths. Her eyes misted over for a moment but she shook them away as she summond some soap and a hair cleaning potion of the counter.

Lathering up a cloth she began cleaning the laughing child.

She used her hand to prevent the soap from getting in Edwins eyes, the night was going so well she didn't want it ruined becuse of stining eyes.

Once he was all clean she was happy to watch him play in the water with the bubbles.

"You can play for a few more minutes, almost time to go to bed"

"And a story!" Edwin giggled, diving into the water. He usually got baths with a few inches of water and no toys. Mama said water was suppose to be used in conservation and although he did not understand what conservation meant, he supposed it meant a short bath.

Laughing slightly Kiara nodded, "Yes and a story, do you have a favorite?"

"Fwavtie?" Edwin looked up from the soapy water. "Mama weeds black book." he said seriously.

"Black book? hmm I will have to look for it then"

Summoning a towel Kiara stood up.

"alright time to get out, then it is story time" she said with a smile.

Edwin climbed out of the tub, rather sad that the bath was over so quickly, but anxious to find out what Kiara was going to read to him.

Wraping Edwin up in the towel so he wouldn;t catch a chill she took him back into Eglantines room. Hoping she wouldn't wake Eglantine, Kiara summond some pajamas and dried Edwins hair.

Conjuring a chair and seeing black book on the desk, Kiara opened it and rolled her eyes.

"Of course.... why am I not surprised it is in Gaelic" she mumbled.

Looking over at Edwin she smiled and floatedhim onto the chair beside her.

"Why don't we try something different, hmmm I know. it all started a long time ago when 2 wizards and 2 witches got together and formed a school. Together they created a magical place full of magic mystery and adventure. Their Names were Helga Hufflepuff, Salazar Slytherin , Godric Gryffindor and Rowena Ravenclaw...."

Edwin listened intently, enjoying the story. Mama only told him written stories and Viper's stories only came once.

"....And that is how Hogwarts came in to being..." said Kiara standing up from her chair and floating Edwin in to her a waiting arm.

"Now little one it is bed time"she said as she held him on to her hip and walked over to his crib.

"Your mama usually sings to you before you go to sleep right?" she asked softly.

"Yeah, and she cries too." Edwin looked down at his crib. "No cwying, peas." His finger pointed to the rocking chair in the corner of the room. "Ower there."

Kiara looked at Edwin a little confused.

"She cries?..." she trailed off and sighed.

"Alright I won't cry I promise" she said walked over to the rocking chair and saw a book beside it.

Wandlessly flipping it opened and found title of the song.

"Hmm I wish I know the melody to this.... hmm oh I remember"

Casting a spell she had learned years before, it played the music to the song you wanted.

Listening over the song once she picked the melody and added the words to it.

She sang in perfect tone, softly and calmly. Though she had no Idea what the word to the song mant.

Before the last note had echoed through the room, Edwin had fallen fast asleep, clutching viper to his chest, thumb in mouth.

Kiara smiled, children always looked so peacefull when they slept.

Floating Edwin over to his crib, Kiara whispered "Sweet dreams little one"

Eglantine moaned in her sleep, her eyes flickered and she was on obvious pain.

"No..." she whispered, dreaming. "Stop... arrêter."

Kiara glanced over at Eglantine and she moved toward her bed. Worried by the look of pain on Eglantine's face.

"Eglantine?" asked as she placed hand in Eglantines and shock it slightly.

Eglantine's eyes opened and she gasped, tears forming in her eyes. "He keeps dying." she whispered. "Er hält sterben. Again and again. Cendres...ashes."

Kiara had a feeling she knew who she was talking about, ashes it had to be Dracovan. She couldn't even say it was only a dream, cause it wasn't.

"Oh Eglantine, it's alright"

Kiara moved in closer and placed her arm around Eglantine. It suddenly occured to her Eglantine hadn't actually talked about what happened yet.

"Shh... it will be alright"

"No!" Eglantine weakly pushed Kiara away. "I'll hurt you too. Stay away." She was perspiring badly, her skin more pale than normal and her body shook violently.
Her eyes opened and closed in rapid intervals.
