The Quidditch Pitch

Casey smiled, a friend? Normally she didn't have friends, cause as soon as they found out about her Lycanthropy they ignored her or felt betrayed because she was one.

"Yes it is very hard, loneliness is such a sad emotion don't you think? Never being able to talk about things with someone, or ask for help if you need it....." she said as she stared up at the moon, it was after full moon but it still looked relatively full.

Its silver light pricked her skin, leaving her a reminder.

Turning away from the moon she sighed.

Darien was surprised by the arrival of Diana.
Get out of there...before you say something stupid.
Would Ana say bye?
Darien sped off and landed on solid ground once more, glancing at his watch. Library phase...
He nearly changed into a wolf for speed but remembered just in time. Cursing himself inwardly, he headed to the library to await the arrival of his sister...

"Hey there," Diana appoarched the Hufflepuff and the (Ravy) Ravenclaw. "Sorry I didn't come earlier but I'm not very fond of that Slytherin." Diana nodded in the direction of the Slytherin girl.

"Yeah. Her wo-" April started, but quickly stopped herself. No-one should know. She started again. "Her brother is such a... goblin!" She looked at her watch. It was nearing 6. She had to see someone. Someone no-one should know about.

Diana blinked that the Ravenclaw's would be comment. How did she know that? Diana thought but she choose not to comment on it aloud.

"Yes..." She said rather balantly. She disagreed but to voice that would arouse suspicion. Everyone knew that Gryffindors and Slytherins didn't get along... Just look at their two head of Houses.

April stopped short. The look on the girls face when she had nearly said wolf had shocked her. Then, April gasped. She was the girl who April had liplocked with Darien. Shoot!!!!!!! April quickly mumbled, "I have to go..." She waved bye to Cassie and flew down to the ground.

Diana watched the Ravenclaw leave at a rush. "Well that was odd."

((Casey and Cassie are completely different names... hehe sorry but people call me Cassie in RL and it bugs me, It is pronounced Kay-see))

Casey few over to Diana in time to see April leave.

"Yeah I wouldn't hold it against her though"

((Yeah I thought so, I mean, I have this classmate named Casey. Cassie's my RPG's cat's name. I don't have a real cat, though I want to.))

Diana shrugged. "I'm Diana Casillas by the way."

Casey nodded and held out her hand.

"Hi, I am Casey Silvertongue"

Diana shook her hand. "So, how come I've never seen you here before?"

Casey shrugged

"Err well medical issues I guess, that and I usaully keep to mey self"

"Oh," Diana thought about what she said and decided that a change in topic might be in order. "So trying out for Quidditch?"

"Maybe... not sure how good I am though"

"Oh, what position do you want to try out for?" Diana said. "Let's go down, having a conversation up here's a little awkward."

Casey nodded, bolted down to the ground and jumped off.

"I was hoping to try out for seeker, what about you?"

"Keeper," Diana said as she dismounted her broom. A bird suddenly flew near them.

"I love birds."

Casey shook her head, birds were to chatty in her opinion.

"And wolves to it seems...." she slapped her hand over her mouth. Why did she say that??

Diana couldn't believe her ears. "What?"

Casey blushed, really this was why she kept to her self, she always said something stupid that was hard to take back.

"Well I umm.... I saw you and Darien that day in hogsmeade at Madame Puddifoots. sorry it just slipped out"

Diana turned a bright shade of red. "Oh... listen," Diana said seriously. "I'd really appreciate it if you didn't tell anyone else about that. It's not something we'd exactly advertise to the school. I mean, Gryffindors and Slytherins aren't suppose to like each other yet alone...."

Casey smiled, and crossed her heart.

"Won't say a thing, as long as you don't say anything about a Hufflepuff and a Slytherin being friends as well....."

Then she quickly added

"Don't worry, just friends"

Diana eyed the Hufflepuff girl for a few seconds before saying, "S'long as it stays a friendship... " There was a hint of a threat in Diana's words.

Casey smiled, she wouldn't be intimated by the sudle threat, the wolf in her wouldn't let her.

"Hey, relax you are his girl, I am his ally"

Diana smiled, "Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like the jealous girl-friend type."
