The Quidditch Pitch

Nicolas was already in the Quidditch Pitch and was rather annoyed that someone had disturbed his flight.

"What the hell...?"

"...Pony-Boy."

Darien acknowledged Nick and halted in mid-air.

"You are a scheming little rat, you know that? He's your uncle for god's sake! And what do you do? Go taddle to grandpa like the spoilt little brat you are! ...I bet you were just after his fortune, good thing Roberto has some concept of loyalty...unlike YOU!" Darien yelled across, voice full of anger.

"Please," Nicolas said. "The fortune was just an added bonus. I just wanted to make sure your blood doesn't taint ours."

"Well you failed! And you're going to pay for even trying to break them up!"

Darien snarled, shooting forwards at great speed, aiming the broom handle at Nick's head.

Nicolas easily dodged the speeding Darien and flew several metres up.

"If I were you, I'd be more interested about keeping my own relationships." Nicolas laughed.

Darien replied with a snarl and began to circle Nick slowly, a few metres below.

Nicolas realized what Darien was trying to do and swooped all the way down, only stopping before he was an inch from the ground.

Nicolas laughed. Taughting Darien.

Darien snarled again.

"Pony-boy...I never thought you'd stoop so low...betraying your own uncle, that's low. And pathetic."

He rolled in mid-air, hurtling past Nick and turning sharply 180 degrees to face 'PonyBoy'.

Diana was whizzing past the goal hoops, trying to get some speed. Because of the Tournament, she'd rarely came out to fly anymore....

Darien approached the Quidditch Pitch carrying two cups of punch.

Celina appeared from around a corner. Darien visably jumped. "Oh Dari...Deed I startle tu?"

"Uh...No."

"Where are you go-ee-ng Dari?"

"Um...To give Diana some punch..."

"Some punch? Ah, zat makes me zo thirsty..."

Darien felt awkward. After all, he had used Celina cruelly...and he felt a bit guilty about it. "Here, have this one." He held out the cup, which Celina accepted.
Darien headed onto the pitch. "Hey Diana! Got you a drink!"
Celina waited for Diana to arrive before drinking.

Diana stopped shorty to find that someone had shouted her name. She looked down to see Darien holding out a cup. She was slightly peeved to find that Celina was on his heels, but despite that fact she flew down to him anyway.

She dismounted her broom and went up to give him a peck on the cheek. "Thank you, that's so sweet..."

Celina glared, but rearranged the glare into a smile when Darien glanced at her.

Darien grinned. "You're welcome."
Darien felt awkward. Very awkward.
And slightly thirsty.

Celina sipped at her drink, for lack of anything else to do.

Then everything got a bit odd...

Wasting not a second, she took the drink Darien was holding that she supposed was for her and she took a sip.

It was nice and cool and...

She blinked several times...

She blinked more times when she realized she didn't know where she was...

She blinked at the boy in front of her...

She screamed.

Darien yelped at the five-year-old Diana.

Then he turned and screamed at the young Celina.

"This. Is. Scaring. ME!" Each word was a scream.

Celina put a hand on her hip and pouted. "Dari, ven deed yoo get zo tall?"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Darien yelped and leapt backwards. He landed on the side of his foot, and crashed onto his back. "OOOOOOOOW! Aaaaaah! Ooooow! Aaaaaah!"

Celina blinked, then glanced at the screaming Diana. "Oo are you?"

"I- I'm Diana..." Diana said looking around for anyone she knew. Finding no one, she started to cry again.

"I am Celina." Celina glanced at the broom and grinned. She began to edge towards it.

Darien stopped screaming and crouched, facing Diana.

"Diana? You don't...you don't remember me?" He asked, cautiously.

Diana shook her head. "Who are you?" Her little voice trembled.

Darien opened and shut his mouth. "I'm...I'm Darien..." He forced a smile and held out a hand.

"Come on, we'll take you to find..." He paused. "Nick." His tone was bitter.

Celina touched the broom and screamed as she felt a burning. She started to cry.

"Dari! Dari! Eet 'urt me!"

Darien sighed. "It's alright." He cast a quick healing charm on Celina's hand, which she then slipped inside his right hand, the left still extended to Diana.

What was he, a babysitter?

"Nick?" Diana said delightfully. "Nicolas is here too?" Nicolas her cousin was also her only friend.

Not wasting a second she held on to this Darien's hand. "Where are we?"

Darien felt a surge of jealousy at the delight in her voice at the mention of Nick.

"Yeah, we'll go find him. We're at Hogwarts." He stood up, bending his knees slightly so he could still hold both children's hands.

Where would Nick be?...

"Hogwarts?" Diana's voice sounded pleased. "We are at Hogwarts?!"

"Yay! We are at Hogwarts!" Then she realized something. "Why are we at Hogwarts?"

"'Ogwarts eez not as bon as Beaubaton!" Celina insisted.

"Um...Because..." Darien wasn't sure if he should tell them the truth. "...It's a game. Nick'll explain, once we find him."

"A game!" Diana's eyes grew at the notion. "I love games! How do we win?"

"Nick will explain when we find him." Darien replied, walking slower than normal so the children could keep up.

Celina huffed and flicked back her hair. "Oo ees zis Nick?"

"Nicolas is great! He's really funny!" Diana said eager she knew something the other girl didn't. "... But sometimes he's mean..." she added as an afterthought. "And sometimes... He's really stupid!" This followed a chorus of giggles from Diana who appreciated the word stupid a lot more then we did, didn't she?
