The Quidditch Pitch

Casey smiled and laughed, "It's alright, seems to me you are a part of his pack now any ways, I suppose it is natural reaction to someone new"

"Part of his pack?" Diana asked confused.

"Well he is very connected to his wolf part right? People he cares about would be in his pack. Even in his wolf form he would never hurt you cause the wolf sees you as apart of his family I guess. At least that is how most wolf packs work"

It was how hers worked, however her pack was very small at the moment, but she hoped to earn enough trust to be apart of Dariens.

"Oh," Diana said thoughtfully. "You seem to know a lot about wolves."

Casey thought for a moment.

"I know a lot about many animals, I inherited the ability from my father to be able to understand animals language"

Diana's eyes widened. "You mean, you can actually talk to animals?"

Casey looked at her feet.

'i know it sounds like something out of a muggle kids entertainment show, but it isn't just animals all other languages to. You like like birds right?"

Cupping her hands over her mouth she let out a bird call.

A moment later a huge flock of a variety of birds flew out of the forbidden forest and flew low over there heads.

((that's it I'm giving Diana a superpower!))

"Wow," Diana said with wonder. "That's amazing."

"Hmm you haven't had the headaches I get from Care of magical Creatures class, it is chaos"

"I would think," Diana said. "Though if I had your gift, I think I would give Care of Magical Creatures the slip."

Casey nodded, "I will probably drop it next year, but my father insists I take it every year"

"Oh what class would you rather take?" Diana asked.

((We need to go somewhere))

((I know...Hmmm))

"I might take an advanced potions class, Are you in Professor Viper's Class?"

((Hmm... what do you want to do?))

Diana nodded. "Yeah... I don't think she likes Gryffindors much. Haha, I seemed to have said the understatement of the year."

((err I don't know, we need to add a twist. I just can't think of anything yet))

Casey laughed.

"Actually I kinda like her, but I don't know if she's just taking pity on my because I was in Hufflepuff or because I am not that bad at potions"

((Hm... I might have something...))

"Well I'd like her a lot better if she was less bias against Gryffindors. How are you in Defense Against the Dark Arts?"

(HM Kia's class!!! ))

Casey shrugged "Aright I guess, it is easy enough , why?"

"Oh nothing I was just wondering what you knew about Patronus Charm." Diana said casually.

((Remember she is only a 2nd year))

"Oh"

Casey looked at her feet, she hadn't been able to cast that yet, not a powerful enough happy memory she supposed.

"I know of it and have attempted to cast it but I didn't get much, so umm...." she trailed of she couldn't stand being incompetent at something.

((Lol, but she's in Care of Magical Creatures? That's a third year class.))

"But do you know about it? Like what it means when your Patronus changes?"

((Really oopes forgot... hey she can talk to animals maybe they let her skip on to it))

"I can make a educated guess, I suppose it would mean the protector changed, the animal of power in the casters mind changed, but that is just a guess"

((Yeah okay, I got nothing now...))

"I see..." Diana said thoughtfully.

Casey looked at Diana curiously.

"Did your patronus change?"

"Yeah it did." Diana admitted. "I was just wondering if my... hypothesis about it is true or not."

Casey though for a moment, "I wouldn't happen to be a certian wolf we both know would it?"
