Tav hurried along the hallway, nearly running, but keeping himself somewhat dignified. Finally he reached the common room door. The whispered password of "Half a League" opened the door to him and he smiled as he spotted his girlfriend.

Sneaking up behind her, he covered her eyes and set the medium sized box in her lap. "Hullo." he murmured.

Kaylie had been studying for her Defense OWLs when she was surprised by Tavish or everyone called him Tav McConn, the Headmistress step-son and her boyfriend, of all girls in the school, he liked her.

Giggling slightly she leaned back form her desk and felt the box on her lap.

"well Hello..." she said with a smile. "Whats this?" she asked indicating the box.

Tav moved his hand from her eyes and sat across from her at the table. Eyebrows rising in a gesture that made him look remarkably like his father, he shrugged.
"No idea, Kay. The box was chasing me down the hallway, so I picked it up and read the label. It said it was for you and so I brought it here. Care to open it?" he teased.

Kaylie laughed at the Idea of a box chasing him down the hallway, it would back made rather funny funny scene. "It was chasing you? I would have loved to see that" she said amused.

Opening the box she she face broke into a grin, all chocolates, which were of course her favorite sweet. All her favorite Muggle and Magical varities.

Looking up at Tav, she lifted the box up on to the table, "Want one?" she asked with a smile knowing of his love of Chocolate.

Tav beamed as she laughed. He loved watching her eyes light up and her face flush, either from laughter or embarrassment. She was beautiful, he thought.
"Sure." he smiled, taking one from the top.

Chasing him down the hallway indeed... in truth it had taken him two weeks to gather all her favourite chocolates together. Uncle Horatio had been helpful, although annoying as he had pestered him about who he was giving it to...

Kaylie smiled and got up, she knew he had gotten them for her, only he could have known all her favorite chocolates.

She hugged him, " Thank you, You didn't have to you know, Whats the occasion?" she asked as she sat beside him.

Tav wrapped his arms around her as she hugged him.
"I'm glad you like them, Kay." he sighed, resting his cheek against her fragrant hair.
"Every day is special." he shrugged, eyes sparkling. "But today is the second anniversary of our dating..." Yes he had remembered and carefully planned it.

Kaylie's mouth dropped and her eye darted to the calander in the common room and she almost swore. It wasn't that she forgot about there anniversary of there dating, just she forgot what the date exactly was...

"Don't worry I didn't forget" she said as she practicaly did a flip up to the girls droms.

Comeing back down less then minute later she held a box in her hand as well.

Finding a gift had been difficult and she found it adorable they both went along the lines of Chocolate.

In the box was a few packs of magical blends of Hot chocolate.

"Hope you like it" she said as she leaned and kissed him on the cheek with a smile.

Tav chuckled as Kaylie hurried away. He didn't doubt that she had forgotten... he had a harder time with dates as well. And it was cute, in his mind, that she had hurried away to get the present for him.

He smiled broadly when she returned and quickly opened the box, delight in his eyes as he saw the hot chocolate blends.
"Wow!" he exclaimed, almost falling back into "wicked"... he had been doing his best not to say that anymore...

"Thanks." Tav stated, returning the kiss on her cheek.

Kaylie hugged him once again " You are very welcome" she said softly enjoying the feeling of hugging him close.

Sitting deside him she picked up her favorite muggle sweet and nibbled on it as well, " So how has your day been?" she asked she had not seen as much of him as she would have liked. With OWL year, all the teachers were brutal with homework. She was glad Tav was around, she kept her sane.

" I have missed you" she said quietly.

Tav sighed. "Fairly awful." he muttered. "I accidently called Professor DeLanquar, Grandmama in class..." his cheeks tinted red as he remembered the Slytherins jeering at him and making crying noises.
"She ignored it, but Jordan Wycliffe didn't."

Ciaran and Kiara had both been encouraging their son to see Eglantine and Horatio as his grandparents, so Tav had all but gotten used to the idea... this recent event would make sure he was more careful...

"I missed you too, Kay."

Kaylie blinked and looked at Tav in symapthy, she was well aware that many of the staff were close friends and the transfigurations professor was they Headmistress's mother. She didn't blame him, he just happened to say it in the wrong place wrong time.

"I am sorry to Hear that Tav, just ignore them Slytherins, they are just being immature Jerks" she said as she slide her arm across his shoulders.

Tav nodded. "I know..." he sighed. "I just got a detention, that's all." it was a fairly long story and the thought of it made his cheeks turn even redder.

"Oh..." she said sadened that he landed himself detetion. "You took their bait didn't you" she asked.

"What happened?"

Tav sighed, wondering how Kaylie could know what happened without having been there... or had she? He worried briefly that she had been there to see the events unfold, but then surmised that she wouldn't lie to him and launched into his grisly tale.

"Well...Wycliffe was jeering at me and calling me "Grannie's baby" and stuff... And Professor DeLanquar just ignored the whole thing. She continued writing on the board and didn't tell him to shut his mouth or anything. So finally I shut it for him... and he hit me back and then it was chaos, Gryffindor vs Slytherin. Professor DeLanquar finally got involved then and just as she was giving Wycliffe a detention, he called her "one of the damned". I kicked him where the sun don't shine and I got a detention too."

Kaylie looked at him in shock for a moment.. and not at him but at his story. She never liked Wycliffe, he was immture, disrecpetful and abraxous. She didn't blame Tav for looseing his temper they way he had, she probably would have done the same thing if she had been in his position.

She reached out and held his hand in hers.

"I probablty would have done the same thing" she said, in truth she had come close a couple times, she heard whisperes or something bad about Tav and she nearly gotten into a bad fight about it. However the Headmistress came or another staff member would interupt.

"Anything I can do?" she asked, "you weren't hurt when he hit you are you? " she asked as if checking him over for anysigin of injury

Tav shook his head, feeling much better after having told Kay about it. "Yeah, thanks." he smiled.
"No, Jordan can yap better than he can swing. Besides I could block him." Tav had been going to karate classes since a fairly young age... working up for auror training. And since he was currently a black-belt, dodging blows from some pudgy Slytherin was hardly difficult.

Still he liked it that Kaylie had asked him...

Kaylie smiled " Good, thats my Tav" she said as she hugged him again. "I can't believe Wycliffe actually called a Professor, one of the damned, talk like that could get him expled.. not that that would be a bad thing mind you " she said.

"Personally I think he is jealous and was trying to make himself feel better by making fun of you" she said.

She was glad he was not hurt though, if he had been Wycliffe would find him self with another angry red head after him.

Tav returned the smile, wrapping an arm around her shoulders.
"He's not a pure-blood..." he muttered, having thought about it himself. Everyone always linked Slytherin to pure blood and all that, but in reality, there were more with half-blood that pure blood. "He should be expelled. He's the one that left that tack for Uncle Horatio to step on... not to mention what he and his band do..."

A gleam came to Tav's eyes as Kay finished talking about jealousy... "Maybe we could get him expelled..."

Kaylie blinked in curiousity, and chuckled at the gleam in his eyes, "I am all ears, what do you have in mind? With all the stuff he has done surely The Headmistress would expell him." she said.

Tav's smile turned into a grin that could rival the cat in Alice in Wonderland.
"Two words, Kay...Edwin's broom." It was a well known fact through out the entire school if not farther, that when it came to Edwin's broom, there was no safer device in the planet.
His mother had charmed the thing to save the 9 year old in so many ways, he could have flown it in space without a scratch. Thus Edwin's broom signified something else entirely among the students of Hogwarts... a flawless plan.

"How do you think my mum would react to a student snapping photos of the staff while they are sleeping?"

Kaylie smirked, "not sure how she would feel but I would be freaked out." she said. tryng to imagine what that would look like.

Leaning closer she whispered "So how are we going to do this then"

Tav smirked. "Easy! I have a know the passwords for most of the staff''s rooms, in case of an emergency. The others we can get from Edwin. He goes into any room he wants so the doors just open for him and he gets the password really simply."

"Then we'll snap a few pics of them and charm the camera to print them. Then the pictures will be taped to every chair in the Great Hall and we'll charm em to float as well. I'll include one of myself sleeping for extra safety and we'll be set."
He sighed, happy with the plan. "Even if Wycliffe is confused at first... he'll say he did it so everyone will pat him on the back... Then the rest is up to my mum."

Kaylie nodded but she seemed to be thinking to something. "I would hate to put a kink in your plan Tav.. but ummm" she paused as unsure if she should say it.

However she forced the words out of her mouth.

"But what if we get caught? Surely tha some of these Professor's have protections or security charms placed in there quarters" she said not sure if Tav had that in to his equation or not. "I don't want to be exspelled" her father would never let her hear the end of it being the only child in her family to have magic came with a lot of pressure.

Tav raised his hand to his chin, rubbing it thoughtfully.
"We can use my uncle's invisibility cloak. He wont mind." smiling he added, "And we won't get caught... anyone who rooms we cannot enter right away, we'll not try."
