((He has better manners then Viper, I would melt if someone kissed my hand ))

((lol, yeah..Viper's a brat, she's used to being treated like a Princess XD. I'd melt too but alas, chivalry is dead. *sigh*) Just opened a new thread to continue in, by the way))

"First-years smurf years..."
The wolf leapt backwards, landing on all four paws on the next bookcase.
Unfortunantly, this one was not as sturdy as the previous one.
It rocked from side to side, beginning to fall. Darien yelped and vaulted onto the desk, transforming his paw to a human hand.
His wand appeared in his outstretched hand and he pointed it at the toppling bookcase, knocking it backwards and sticking it to the wall.
"Shoddy workmanship that." He remarked, tossing his wand casually to one side, his hand becoming a paw once more.
"Really shoddy." He leapt back onto the bookcase, grinning like...well, a wolf.

Casey shook her head and laughed.

"Oh yes, like it was really meant for a wolf to be jumping on it, huh? Careful this is the headmistress's office, won't want to destroy it"

Looking around she looked out the window, she could hear the merpeople say obscurities as they tried to break through the ward the headmistress had set up.

"I don't know why the headmistress won't let me try to talk to the merpeople, I could help if she would let me"

"And I don't know why we don't just blow them up or something. But hey, who knows?"
Darien grinned.
"Or plan two...yell stuff at them from here, while I tell you their responses via my super awesome wolf hearing. What d'you reckon?"
He leapt back onto the floor becoming human once more, grabbed his wand and conjured a megaphone, opening the window with another wave of his wand.
"Go on, get shouting. Oh- you might need to stand up here." he conjured a platform under the open window.
Transforming one ear, he settled down at the window.

Casey laughed again,

"You are forgetting one thing, we maybe able to hear them because of our enhanced hearing, even in water but I doubt they will hear us. Oh yeah and another thing have you heard what real mermish sounds like on land? It is horrible, like nails on a chalk board, it sound even worse through the megaphone."

She stopped for a moment and smirked.

"But if you think your ears can handle it I could try anyway"

Darien pouted. "My ears are not defeated by a chalkboard and some nails. Go for it."
He leaned backwards, hands behind head, lounging lazily against the wall. His wolf ears were alert, ready to listen carefully to the response.

Casey bit her lip,
"Alright I am not exactly sure what to say to them though from up here "

Rapidly thinking of something to say.

Standing out on the platform and taking the megaphone Casey swithed her vocal cords to that of the merpeoples and spoke in perfect mermish, what awful sound.

"Attention merpeople, if we bring back your kings heart you must stop trying to hurt people. So i promise we will bring the heart back to you, but if you hurt anyone before I bring it back the deal is off"

Darien's ear twitched.
"I think that's a no...but I'm not an expert. Sounds like some seriously ripe language...And that nearly went off my audiable spectrum. And are you allowed to promise that? Viper is no way going to give it back... And the headmistress might not be chuffed you promised it's return."

Switching back to human Casey said "We can bring them back the duplicate, besides you saw how the Headmistress didn't want to deal with them, and I would say the feeling is mutual for the Mer-people."

Casey stopped to think for a moment, unknowingly letting her Slytherin and Gryffindor sides of her personality work together to form a plan, never a good combo.

"I could ask Professor Viper to let me have the duplicate when she is finished making it and take it to them. They were going to give them a fake anyway right?"

Darien raised an eyebrow.
"On your own? What are you going to do, just stroll up to the lake and go 'sorry the professor stole your dead king's heart, here it is.' what are you, crazy? Or suicidal?"

Casey folded her arms in front of her and looked back at Darien.

" The mer people won't hurt me, it is againt their code to harm a beast speaker, but if you come with me and get hurt it is Diana I am afraid of, she will kill me if you got hurt"

"And which will they value more? The code, or the dead king's heart. Hmm, I wonder..."

Casey sighed again, "Let me put it a different way, it isn't just a simple code that that they can forget about when they want to. It is like slaying a unicorn unless they are absolutly evil, which they arn't, they will leave me be even if they don't want to."

Darien folded his arms.
"Forgive me for being cynical, but meandering into a lake full of distraut and angry merpeople and saying 'hi, you can't hurt me' sounds surprisingly like a suicide attempt." He glanced out of the window.
"They're not above trickery you know, and loss can make people do many things, break many rules, they would never normally cross."
He gave a snort of laughter.
"Stupid psycology lessons, always coming back to haunt me..."

Casey gave a tiered smile." Are you always this arguementitive?""

"It isn't suicide, but I will think about it and wait until after full moon. We will see what happens then. Maybe the Headmistress will think of something and have solved before then....

"I am not argumentative...I just make my point known. My cynical perspective, as it were."
He sighed.
"Fine, but don't expect me to appeal the the Headmistress on your behalf, I'll be right behind her trying to disuade you. Speaking of which, is she ever coming back? I did have things to do today!"

Casey shruggled, "I don't know, she seemed like she done with us anyway though"

"True, but I'm not moving until she comes back. I'm already in enough trouble."

Kiara have back into her office,

"Sorry I took so long, A few thing came up. Now Mr. Vaight I will let you off with a warning for you wolf transformations. Keep in mind that the other Professors my not be as leinetent as I am. Unless in special circumtences I can't over turn there punishments. So do be careful.. Now if that was everything you are dismissed"

Rachyy knocks on the Headmistresses waiting for her to answer.

Kiara looked up from her desk and canceled the wandless spell she had on her quill to write out her paper work, and said.

"Come on in, its opend"

Rachyy comes in to ask Headmistress Kiara for help but trips in the process because of her clumsiness. She gets uo and faces Headmistress Kiara. "Headmistress", she said politely, "I'm very confused about what to do in school. I don't understand how to get to any of my classes. I was going to ask a Professor but I'm sure you could help a tad bit more".

Kiara smiled at the girl, "Alright lets see how I can help you, have a seat" she said as she waved her hand conjuring a chair for the student to sit in"

((Her wand arm is in a sling due to a fight with a mountain troll, so she can't use her wand))

"First what classes do you want to take" she asked spelling a quill to right down a list.

Rachyy realizes its late and has to go to bed. "Bye Headmistress I will talk to you more tomorrow", she exclaims.
