The Edges of the Lake (Northside)

Calista continued laughing, until she felt something twitch or move in her abdomen.
"Armando!"

Armando stopped immediately. "What's wrong? Calista? Are you okay? Is it the baby?"

Calista smiled. "No, nothing's wrong...Armando, the little one moved! I felt it."
She grabbed his hand and placed it over the baby, which was moving slightly.

"That's incredible," Armando whispered. He looked up at her with unbelieveing happiness, a grin plastered on his face.

Calista felt tears forming in her eyes. "I think they're laughing too."

Armando laughed with mirth. "I love you."

"I love you two." She laughed looking at Armando and then the little one, still moving slightly.

"Does it hurt?" Armando asked concerned.

"Of course not. It feels weird, but in the best way possible." Calista smiled.

Armando wrapped his arms around Calista and kissed her.

Calista kissed him back, then broke away when she needed oxygen.
She was rather disappointed to find the baby had stopped moving, and glanced down at the bulge in her abdomen.

"What's wrong?" Armando asked.

Calista laughed slightly.
"It's just...I'm just being silly...but I kind of miss the little one moving."

Armando smiled. "You're so cute when you pout."

"You're cute even when you're not pouting." Calista smiled, hugging Armando again.

Armando kissed her, "Well, you're not..." He paused. "You're beautiful."

Calista blushed slightly. "I would have to disagree...and weren't we going to save your desk from an early demise?"

"Oh, right," Armando said gallantly. "We must save it!"

Calista fought back a laugh as she started walking towards the castle.

Raven walked up to the edge of the lake and breathed in the fresh air. She sat down and started reading her first book of Inkheart, the book Juria had given her as a present. The soft wind blew in her hair and brushed against her soft skin. Raven opened up to the first page of the book reading while relaxing on the grass, under the tree, listening to the river flow and the soft low wind blowing in the air.

Becca started walking towards the lake and saw a Slytherin girl from afar. She smiled wanting to be friends so she walked up towar5ds her.

"Hi! my names Becca what's yours?" She asked.

Raven looked up at the Hufflepuff girl and was kind of mad to stop reading. She didn't feel like making friends at this point of time.

"Can you please go away I am trying to read," Raven said trying not to be rude.

A leaf fell from the tree and landed on her book and wiped it away and still noticed the Hufflepuff girl was still there.

Becca stood there not smiling. She really wanted to be friends with her,

"Look I don't want to be enemies can we please just talk?" Becca asked hoping the Slytherin girl would accept her offer.

Raven then sighed and closed her book and knew she wouldn't get her away,

"Please sit, my name is Raven," she said without even smiling. The wind had stopped blowing and the water stopped rippling and Raven's only time relaxing was gone.

Becca smiled and sat down next to Raven, "I like you name Raven, so watcha readin?" Becca asked looking at the river.
