Historia de la Familia
The Casillas Family is an old Wizarding Family based in Spain that can be traced through several generations. They aren't affliated with the Dark Lord however, they do believe in blood superiority. It was only in recent generations did they concieve it possible to accept Muggle-Borns in the Wizarding World. The Family has a long feud between the Vaight Family. No one even knows how it started.

Historia de la Casa
The Casillas House is more like a manor than anything else. The estate boast to be one of the biggest in Spain. The house itself has been build by Celestino Casillas, as old as the Family itself. The house is now owned by Ferderico Casillas (Diana's Grandfather), however, a few other Casillas' live in it, like Nicolas.

The Function Room of the Casillas Manor was filled with people all dressed up in their best attire. Ferderico was hosting the annual Summer Masquerade Ball.

Societies best dress in the most elegant of gowns. Ready to mingle, ready to make business transactions, ready to have a ball of a time.

Only a few people are invitated (though even if you aren't we wouldn't know since we are all in mask anyway!).

This happens before the school year started so... pretend to not know anyone!

Kiara arived in the Casillas manor, as the newly appointed Headmistress she had recieved an invitation.

Walking in she wore a long dark blue dress that she had enchanted to have it look like blue flames. Her mask was a similer shade of blue that fit perfectly over the upper half of her face.

And her black hair was up for a change and held together with a silver and blue tiara.

Professor Eglantine Rosier-DeLanquar was careful to stay away from the better known wizards and witches, despite her mask. Due to her rather complex family history, she wanted nothing less than to be recognized and would not put it past anyone at the ball to vanish her mask.

Her gown was simple and elegant, heavy black silk that clung to her waist and fell in gentle waves to her ankles. The neckline was high, but showed her pale neck, something that irked her to no end. Her sister-in-law, Vivian Rosier had fitted the gown for her and there was nothing she could have done to change it once both Vivian and Bellatrix, her niece, had finished cooing over it.

Bella had forced Eglantine to wear her hair down, insisting that she needed a new look to go with the gown. Now it rippled down her neck and back in platinum blonde curls as if mocking her newly acquired position as Transfiguration professor of Hogwarts. Truthfully she felt like a child in a fantasy book. Of course the fact that a cane helped her navigate through the teeming crowds helped destroy the image.

And she was also glad that she had put her foot down on the mask. Vivian had insisted a black mask that was attached to a handle, which was then carried around and at times put to the face. Eglantine had insisted upon a mask that could have easily disguised Harry Potter from his own wife. The thick black material covered her forehead, cheeks and the curled gently around her mouth, as if it was attempting to mirror an ancient Greek Helmet. Her eyes had been charmed to appear blue and therefore she blended into the crowd like a black cat trying desperately to wish it had not leapt into a pond.

"Welcome, welcome to mi casa!" Ferderico Casillas ushered the guest in. He was wearing a jaunty red dress coat with an eye mask to match.

"Hola!" He said to the newcomers.

Eglantine sipped her wine. Already she had made it her goal for the evening to slip into a corner and fade away. Not literally of course, but after maybe an hour of avoiding anything with two legs and a vocal chords, she planned to slip out and return to London. That would be the only course of action for the party-shy professor.

Of course fate intervened as a slightly intoxicated wizard choose that exact moment to trip over her cane.

"Sorry about that Senorita," Armado Casillas surried slightly. "I didn't see you there."

Eglantine paled, nearly dumping her wine all over the wizard. "It is quite all right." she replied, flustered that he had referred to her by Senorita instead of Senora. "I should be more careful."

"No, Senorita, the fault is all mine." He bowed. "Would you honour me with a dance?"

Eglantine smiled softly. "I do not dance very well, sir." Nonetheless she protested due to her side and hip. If he insisted though, she thought, I would be willing.

"But I tripped. The only way to that is redeemed in Spain Senorita is to Dance!" Armando said gallantly. "Besides," he said in undertone, "I am not much of a Dancer myself."

"Very well, if you insist." Eglantine gently set her wine glass on a nearby table and leaned her cane against the wall.

Armando smiled and held his hand out. "I am Armando Casillas by the way."

Eglantine placed her gloved hand in his and allowed him to lead her to the dance floor. "Eglantine DeLanquar."

"Muchas gracias." Armando said leading her to the dance floor. The music that they were playing was a very simple waltz.

"So Senorita DeLanquar, what brings you to Spain?"

"Your family's kind invitation to attend tonight." Eglantine replied. That was not entirely true...she had been all but forced to attend by her brother and sister-in-law.

"Ahh," Armando said. "So you haven't seen Espana's wonders?"

Eglantine shook her head slightly. "I lived in Madrid for two years when I was a child." She had not spoken to anyone but her family since her husband's death; it felt liberating.

"Si! Madrid es muy bonito!" Armando exclaimed. "Do you remember anything from then? You should see it now, as a Senorita."

"I remember very little." Eglantine muttered. Actually she remembered virtually being abandoned there by her parents, only 8 years old at the time. "I am sure it has changed a great deal."

Armando nodded. "Si, it has. However it has grown more beautiful with age. Now I don't mean the Muggle establishments, but the scenery, es muy linda." Armando twirlled her around.

"So what do you do you?"

"I am a Transfiguration professor. Recently Hogwarts accepted me." She cast a wandless numbing charm on her hip to keep it from interferring with the dance, which she was enjoying greatly.

"Oh Hogwarts!" Armando said excitedly. "I've a sabrina... a niece who goes there."

"How lovely." Eglantine remarked. "My niece attends as well. Perhaps they know each other."

"Perhaps they do," Armando agreed. And the song ended. "Would you like a drink?"
