Vaight Manor - Entry by invitation only...(lol)

Aiden ducked and cast a shield around him self avoiding the stunners. Looking above his head.

"Now to take care of that thing..."

Waving his wand at another statue he truned it in to a dragon and order it to take care of the metal serpant.

Waving his wand again he cast water at then wall of fire. Followed by a expluso toward his opponant.

Raoul muttered "Ascendio."
He flew over the spell and high into the sky.
He shot a blasting curse towards the dragon, causing it to explode.
With another flick of his wand, he repaired and duplicated the winged serpent and landed on the first one's back.
"Oppugno." He said calmly to the other dragon. As it soared towards Aiden, he duplicated it again, so that it became two, circling the boy like vultures.
Silently, he cast a strong shield charm around himself and set fire to the platform. He wondered how long it would take the boy to notice, distracted as he was by the circling serpents...

"Oh that is it..." he hissed angrily

Aiden looked up at the numerous flying dragons and snake above him, he raised his wand up and yelled "Immobulus"

Then he cast a water charm on many parts of the platform, although it burned him pretty nicely before the flames receded.

Then looking over at his opponent he muttered the same spell he and Amy had used when the Vaights made my duel Ana and Darien, only a smaller version so only his opponent would be effected by it.

Then not even a moment after he sent multipul stunners hoping they would bring down his shield. Then he said "Sectumsempra"

The spell took him by surprise. Raoul clung onto the flying serpent, blinded temporarily. He knew he was open to attack and heard stunners hit his shield.
He heard the boy shout sectumsempra, and leapt out off the flying serpent, landing on his feet.
He fired off two blasting curses in Aiden's direction and resotred his sight with a counter-spell.
His eyes blazed with anger.

Aiden avoided the first of the curses and cast a shield charm to block the second one. Still blasted him back quite a bit and he hit his head as he feel to the floor. However he still held on to his wand and he stood up.

Amy on the sidelines was holding her head. She didn't have the duel to focus on so ignoring the pain as Aiden was doing was considerably more difficult.

Aiden growled "Bombardo!! maxima, Expluso!"

Raoul leapt to one side and rolled, avoiding the spells by a hair's breadth.
He smirked broadly as he stood up.
He sent three simultaneous stunners at Aiden, and strengthened his shields.
"Come on boy, you can do better than that!...Or can you?"
He calmly animated the dais on which Aiden stood, and it rose upwards. If the boy jumped, he'd break his leg.
Raoul stepped backwards slightly, still grinning broadly. He was enjoying this duel.

Aiden cast a shield not willing to jump on the raised level and braced him self "Brace your self Amy this is going to hurt"

And it did.. the impact sent him flying backwards and he landed on his back. He faintly heard Amy cry out in the impact.

"I will end this sis, don't worry it will end soon"

Slowly getting up Aiden glared at Raoul, "Try this on for size" raising his wand he focused on Raoul and yell "Legimens!" as well as using his own focus. With his wand adding to it's power the spell would be incredibly hard to block. Especially since Raoul was focused on the duel and not on Occulmency shields. The element of surprise was a bonus to.

With incredible force Aiden slammed into Raoul's mind barrier.

Raoul stumbled backwards.
His occlumency shields were strong, but the sheer force of the impact broke through the first barrier.
He strengthened his second walls, preparing for another attack.
"Confundo." He muttered, sending the spell directly at Aiden, following it with four stunners. He strengthened his shields and tried to force Aiden out of his mind.
But it wasn't working.

Aiden move slightly to the left narrowly missing the confusion spell and the stunners, and pressed harder on his sheilds at the same time making a huge mess in the area where he was.

"By the time I am done with you, you won't be able to say your own name"

A Vaight bows to no man...or boy.
Horatio watched with interest as the duel reached a standstill.
Apparently, it had moved on to a mental fight.
He noticed Raoul's face contort in pain briefly, and decided to intervene and stop the fight if either contestant showed any more signs of pain.
The last thing he needed was an insane youngest son to lock away...

"Neither do I!!"

Aiden pressed on the shield and broke through deeper into Raoul's mind, pulling random memories as he went.

When he got to the area for spell knowledge.

"Ohh.. Interesting"

Aiden went in and pulled and cut random memories of Raoul's knowledge of spells.

Leaving a huge mess of things.

"have fun with that"

Raoul yelled and spluttered angrily.
Horatio knew the rulebook off by heart.
This constituted a memory invasion, and Raoul was clearly getting the worst of it.
"Halt!" He summoned both wands and slipped down onto the ground. With a blast from the two wands and his own, he knocked both competitiors back and broke the mental connection.
"Stay still, both of you! Or you will both be disqualified."
He raised his wands and entered Raoul's mind. Quite a lot of damage done, although nothing permenant. He pushed the thoughts back into order and withdrew.
Raoul was glaring, livid.
"Aiden Avalon wins."
The crowd roared. Raoul stormed away, after snatching his wand. Horatio replaced his own wand and approached Aiden.
"Good victory. But a word of warning." His voice was low so only Aiden could hear him. "Next time you invade someone's mind, do not attempt to destroy it the way you just did. Any more destruction or even worse, permenant damage, could have you disqualified. And considering the number of ministry wizards around, you could end up in court. Just confuse them a bit, nothing more. Understood?"

Aiden nodded his head, "Understood Sir, I guess I over did it, but another curse from him and I would have lost. He should have all his spells back in order in a few a days I didn't destroy anything, just scrammed it up a bit. I avoided other areas." he explained.

"I am aware, I have sorted them back into a more sensible order for him." Horatio nodded.
"Now I believe your friends await you."
He nodded in the direction of Amy.

Aiden went as fast as he could over to Amy and they help eachother up the steps. He soon began to feel the pain of his injuries once there out of the areana both of the sat on the floor. Full impact of the dual hiting both of them.

"That hurt" they both muttered.

Ana noticed the twins sit down and was puzzled. She stood up and walked briskly down the steps.
"What's wrong? Do you need me to get a healer? They're dotted around..."

Amy lifted her head, " Oh a pain relief potion for Aiden would be lovely.... That guy was brutal, I don't feel the least bit sorry for him"

"Okay."
Ana clicked her fingers and Bob appeared. "Pain relief potion please, pronto."
Bob vanished. Ana almost laughed. "Ha, alliteration."
Bob reappeared with a small vial.
"Thanks."He bowed and vanished.
"Here. And yes, they do get brutal." She winced.
"You need to watch the higher-skilled ones, they are viscous. Compared to some of the duels I've seen...not mentioning any names..."
She coughed. "Ignatius..."
"Yeah, that's a normal amount of pain duel you just won. The noobs are easy, but it gets down to the experienced ones, it's not uncommon to break bones. Great duel though, he won't be a problem now." She smiled, holding out the potion.
"OI! Are you okay down there?" Darien yelled, causing several heads to turn towards him.

Aiden drank the potion in one go and both he and Amy sighed as the pain faded.

"Yeah just a tade beat up Darien, we will be fine"
"I wouln't have been able to beat him if couldn't have gotten in to his mind," said Aiden.

"So are you up next Ana?" asked Amy.

Ana paled.
"I don't know..."
She's not sure she wants to know...She'd hate to be beaten, even by dad.
Ana silenced Darien with a glare. "I'll go check."
She walked away, trying to fight the nerves she felt building. If she lost her second duel...What would her father say?

As Ana walked away Aiden sent her a mental message, it was obvious Ana was nervous.

"You will do fine Ana, your quick, smart, and a Slytherin to top it off you will do fine"

Thanks... Ana smiled over her shoulder at Aiden.
She skimmed her eyes over the programme and reached her next duel.
She was duelling a ministry official. Some guy called Blake.
She groaned inwardly. He was going to be tricky to beat.
She walked back to the others. "I'm duelling some ministry guy. Should be interesting."

"Hope it isn't one of them pompus ones, they are annoying. Though it will be funny to see his face when he realizes you arn't a nooby" said Amy as she and Aiden got up, the pain relief potion does wonders.

"Well, we'll soon find out. Wish me luck guys."
Ana pulled her wand out her sleeve, and began to walk in the direction of the pit.
