Professor DeLanquar's Personal Chambers (located in Gryffind

Viper stiffened. She stood for a moment, absorbing the information before conjuring a potion, and a dagger. In a blind, almost insane haze, she withdrew her silver dagger and sliced her vein, splashes of blood cascading unto the potion. She whispered incantations from various languages but to no avail. The potion stayed as it was, merely covered with blood.

Silent tears slid down Viper's face as she eyed the defected potion. "I can't sense him..." she wept as she collapsed unto the ground on her knees as she met Eglantine's eyes. "I trusted you..." she whispered softly, tears trailing down her face, her voice dripping with grief and regret.

Eglantine covered her face with her hands and sobbed harder. According to Kiara, she had just killed a man. In cold blood. The sobbing was uncontrollable now and she saw more blood trickle from her nose and mouth.

Viper snarled and threw the potion at Eglantine in fury. "Oh don't act like the innocent victim! Don't play your little innocent, suffering, sweet old, Professor act! Dont give me all that fluff! I know why you did this, alright! I know! I know you don't like me! Hell, you probably even hate me! Don't play the remorse card and act as though you're sorry! You knew exactly what you were doing I-" Viper paused and took a few deep breaths to calm herself. "He was all I had left..." she whispered as she bit her lip, willing her silent tears to halt.

Kiara bent her head knowing what a statment like that coming from Viper meant. Anything good that had formed between the two now meant virtually nothing now.

Noticing Eglantines distress as well she conjured a cloth and went over to the woman.

"I wasn't her fault Viper she wasn't in control of her actions"

Eglantine gasped as the internal bleeding became worse. Viper's words cut into her deeper than any dagger, and she turned her head.
"I don't remember." she whispered. "But you can kill me anyway."

Viper scoffed and swore. "Do you truly believe that? Unbelievable..The woman coughs up blood and you go comforting her?" she asked incredulously. "I knew you two were close, Kiara. I knew that, I always saw you two together whispering, talking alughing, being best friends. But it never bothered me. I honestly didn't midn, but this...this isn't right! She killed my brother and you're trying to justify it!

She turned to the bleeding Professor with a cold, indifferent face. "Thank you, Professor. Your offer is most tempting. However, I shall decline, for I am not like you." she glared, her tone as icy as a winter storm. "I am not a murderer."

Kiara hung her head, she was stuck in the middle both literally and figuritively.

"I am not trying to justify any thing, and if Eglantine was perfectly healthy I would tell you the same thing I am saying now. I am sorry what happened to your brother, I knew of Eglantine's condtion and I promised to help her through it, but I didn't make it in time. If you must blame someone for your borthers death.. blame me"

Viper stared at the Headmistress in shock and disbelief, feeling more and more betrayed by the minute. "What do you mean If I must blame someone for my brother's death? What do you expect me to do? Skip around happily, singing for joy?" she asked. Not out of anger, but a genuine feeling of betrayal and hurt.

"Oh but you are to blame." Eglantine stated coldly, rising from her place on the floor. The blood continued to drip from her mouth, but she was obviously in no pain. "Hello, Amaranth. I am Cerise." she pulled her wand out again and brandished it loosely.
"He died well."

Viper glared. "Crucio!" she hissed. "What the hell are you playing at, Delanquar?"

Cerise laughed as the spell melted into Eglantine's body. "No joke, love." she hissed. "What do you think happens when you take and combine Voldemort's mind with Eglantine's mind? You get me! An abomination of power, hatred and lust."

Viper raised an eyebrow. "Fine Professor. You want to play lunatic-actress that's your right," she said as she walked away from the chambers.

Cerise attempted to follow her, but Eglantine regained control at that moment. Lucky for Viper...due to the fact that Cerise had been planning to kill her as well.
"Kiara, stop me." Eglantine whispered, falling down again. "Stop me."

"I changed my mind, Kiara. Kill her. She's a bloody lunatic." Viper called over her shoulder as she turned to exit.

"Excessum Ne..." Eglantine covered her mouth part way through the incantation. Or else Viper would have been turned into a fine ash. Pointing her own wand at herself she whispered a stupify. As she went limp, she felt the power angrily cursing her.

"No Viper can't let you"

Kiara wandlessly caught Eglantine before she hit the ground.


"I will Eglantine stop this, don't worry"

Placing the womans head on her lap Kiara brought her only good hand on Eglantines forehead and whisper "Let me in Eglantine"

The summoning as much of her weaked magic as she could she yelled

"Legilmens!"

and she forced her way in to Eglantines head.

Viper leaned against the wall and rolled her eyes. "Unbelievable. I'm all alone in this world because of this woman and now we're all acting as though we're around her death bed. Attention addict..." she thought bitterly to herself.

Eglantine's mind was strangely calm. Her mind appeared to Kiara as a stone courtyard with two statues standing on either side of Eglantine.
"Hello Kiara." Eglantine stated, smiling. "What are you here for?"

Kiara looked around and looked back at Eglantine..

"If you really are Eglantine you should know why I am here" she said coldly she didn't have enough power for games.

Eglantine's mind began to fight Kiara and the courtyard changed into a raging inferno. Cerise and Eglantine stood side by side amid the fire.
"You cannot destroy me without destroying her." Cerise pointed out. Inside of Eglantine's mind, the marriage of Voldemort and Eglantine's combined power was a young woman, tall and thin, with brown hair and green eyes. "Either way I win."

Kiara glared at Cerise the fire of the infero not bothering her, perhaps becuase of her pheonix bond, or because she new the fire wasn't real.

"Perhaps.... who said anything about destroying you? I merely want you to stop haunting her."

Kiara eyes flashed dangerously.

"What will it take for you to leave her alone"

Cerise laughed. "Leave her alone?" She seemed greatly amused by the idea. "Hilarious, Headmistress. I am her. Everything that festered and boiled underneath that stern facade...just needed a bit of dark magic to make me..."

Kiara smiled though it was mirthless"Is that all? just a bit dark magic? I think I can handles that. You see Cerise what you don't seem to get is I am a master of the protection against dark magic"

Then blues flames surrouned Kiara and she flew at Cerise casting a cage around Cerise and only Cerise.

"This is the seal of light as long as the real Eglantine exists she can ignore you, you will still exist in her mind by can't move freely around her mind any more. Only if she goes completely as evil as you, so much that she becomes you. Then and only then will you be set free"

((Eglantine can still hear Cerise in her thoughts, but Cerise can't take over when ever she wants))

Viper rolled her eyes as she watched the Headmistress crouch over the unconscious Professor's body. As a legilimens she had to ability to join Kiara but really didn't feel like playing mother to Eglantine. Especially given the circumstances. Scoffing, she exited the chamber and returned to her office.

Cerise screamed and attempted to fight off the cage and Kiara, but Eglantine had already set up wards around her power reserves. The flames died and Cerise's image faded from view, despite the fact that her presence could still be felt.
Eglantine now sat in a peaceful meadow, with a blue sky and green grass.
"Kiara!" she called, rising from the grass. Despite the fact that it was only a projection of thought, Eglantine beamed. "Thank you." She walked steadily up to Kiara and held out still hands.
"Now you need to go." she said softly. "You have done so much already."
