The Quidditch Pitch

Kiara rasied her eye brow, confused "Now if you believe that why are you interested in pursuing her then?"

Horatio stuck his pipe back into his mouth. "Have mankind not always reached for what they can never attain? For what they can never hope to be worthy of? Maybe I too, desire a friendship well beyond my ability to appreciate or honour."

Kiara blinked, he really did like her. Standing she walked beside Horatio.

"Now look here, you have already effected her heart, weather she is willing to admit it or not. You can't just give up now"

Kiara said seriously she wasn't going to let Horatio play with Eglantines heart.

"Unless you really don't want to be friend her, which I doubt... You can't give up on her"

Horatio nodded. "Very well then. I shall give it my best. Thank you so much for your counsel. I shall put it to good use." he bowed, and hurriedly kissed Kiara on both cheeks before pulling his heavy robes up slightly and dashing off toward the castle.

Kiara smiled as she watched Horatio take off to the castle.

"Good luck Horatio!" she called out.

Armando headed to the Quidditch Pitch, Broomstick on his shoulder.

He was pleasantly surprised to find the Headmistress already there. "Hola, Kiara."

Kiara smiled "Ah hello, come to get some flying in I see" said Kiara as she hoped on her old firebolt and zipped over to him.

'So how was your first day of teaching?" she asked as she flew low to the ground.

"It was not bad..." Armando said honestly. "I had expected the students would give their new Professor a hard time. But," Armando smiled. "Everything carried on smoothly."

"I hope Calista faired as well." He added as an afterthought.

Kiara laughed "I am sure she did, she seems like no nonsence type of woman in a class room" Kiara stated.

Thinking fore a minute she asked "Do you know when she is due? with the baby I mean?" purly out of curiousity.

"She is," Armando grinned.

He scratched his head, a mechanism he developed. "She's due in six months..." There was an unmistakable tone of happiness in his voice.

Kiara smiled, he certainly sounded like a father to be, "This must be your first child, am I right?"

"Yes," He smiled sheepishly. "It's amazing... I only hope I can be a good father."

"Actually Kiara, there was something I wanted to asked of you..."

Kiara looked "Oh what is it" she asked as she flew down as she used her broom to sit on.

Armando followed suit.

Once down, he dug into his robe pocket and pulled out a small velvet box, royal blue in colour.

"I want to... purpose to Calista." He confessed, showing the Headmistress the box. "And if she says yes..." he sucked his breath... he didn't think he could handle it if she didn't... "I was wondering if... we could have the ceremony here, at Hogwarts."

Kiara smiled brightly, a wedding at hogwarts, that hadn't been done a while if ever, but it sounded like a wonderfull idea, it was brilliant.

"It would be a honor to have your wedding at Hogwarts, it would be beautiful"

"And I am sure she will say yes" she added.

Armando slutched his shoulders. "I sure hope so. I don't know what I'd do if she... doesn't."

He sighed. "I am so nervous."

Kiara laughed slightly, "Well it is perfectly normal to be nervous, what guy wouldn't be?'

Kiara paused and decided to give a him a boost in the confidence department.

" but I don't think she will say no. She loves you that much is clear..."

Then for the ringer,

"She has already lost you once, I severly doubt she will let you slip through her fingers again" she said quietly.

Really what was with all the guys of Hogwarts and confiding in her about their loves?

Armando chuckled lightly at the Headmistress' words. They made some sense.

"I suppose you are right." He smiled at her. "Aver, I shall do it tonight then."

Kiara smiled and winked "I wish you the best of luck with it, I am sure she will be thrilled"

"Do let me now the date when you have decided hmm, I look forward to it" she said.

Armando bowed. "I shall, Senorita."

Kiara nodded then she thought of some thing that had been in the back of her mind sine Armando had returned form the dead.

"Umm can I ask you something? it isn't related to what we were talking about, but i am concerned.... I know Diana and Darien Vaight brought you back.. but I was with Diana and young Nicolas when they were informed of your death. Nicolas stormed out of my office, I was wondering if you talked to him yet or do you plan to tell him you are alive?"

She asked, she had been aware that Mr Casillas had taken his uncles sudden death rather hard.

Armando's face turned rather pensive. "Yes... Diana did inform me of Nicolas'..." He sighed. "I don't know if it is the right time to tell him the truth. Nicolas es un bueno chico pero... but... sometimes, he takes this... feud to heart. They feed him this... sandeces about the Vaights and he bites right into it."

Kiara sighed "I see, yes I can see how that may be a problem, he may have a right to know though. I know his girlfriend and her brother were the twins at Calista's trail who testified on her behalf. Keep in mind, he just found out you died, it could have been all he could think about"

Nick was a nice kid and she could see or some what under stand he felt the way he did.

Armando nodded. "I understand what he is going through all too well..."

"Truth be told, if I were in his position... I would not do anything different. I would also pick a fight with the nearest Vaight."

He smiled, "I am rather fond of Nicolas."

Kiara nodded, she was glad Armando didn't blame Nick for his reaction, when in greif the mind makes one think irrational things and act on it.

"If anyone can snap him out to the ridiculus blood feud between your families it would be you" she said.

Then a owl flew over head and droped a daily profit in her lap. Reading the headline she frowned but was hardly surpried.

"Murder Vaight ecaped Azkaban!!"

"Murderer indeed," she said disaporvingly as she hit the headline."She didn't even get a fair trial, you gits, her fate was sealed the moment she walked in to that room"
