Viper bit her lip in order to stop herself from bursting out laughing. "They may or may note have dumped amphibian organs all over Madame Lasharana's daughter."

Kiara nearly hit her self.

"Oh of the students to pull a prank on it had to be her... her mother is going to kill me!!....."

She paused for a moment.

"and don't say it.... Diplomacy I know" she said with a sigh.

Viper burst into laughter, nodding. "Good luck with that one." Viper managed between giggles as she pictured the conversation that would take place between the two heads.

Kiara sighed 'Well at least, if Lasharna comes in here with a murderous look on her face I will know why... Thanks for the warning Viper"

"So did things go alright after what happend in the astronmy tower?" she asked.

At Kiara's words, Viper raised an eyebrow. "Of course... Why do you ask?"

Kiara sighed with relief "I was just worried... can't help it...."

Going to a slight different topic she asked with small smile "I noticed you two whispering up there, anyhting going on between you two?"

It was a innocent question...

Viper's eyebrow arched higher as a faux-innocent smile smeared her face. "Whatever do you mean, Kiara?"

"Come on Viper, you like Sevastyan don't you, I saw you holding hands and whispering to eachother...." Kiara said with a smile.

Viper sighed. She wasn't a kiss and tell sort of witch...

"My hand was injured, Sevastyan healed it. He couldn't hear what I was saying over the rain so I leaned closer to him." she said in a neutral voice and tone.

"If you say so Viper, but even after he healed your hand it was still being held" Kiara pointed out. She had been standing right there, she wasn't blind and the two had alot in common.

"It was very painful." Viper said dryly, nodding to emphasis her point.

Despite herself, Viper's curiosity got the better of her. "Have you spoken to Sevastyan since then?"

Kiara rolled her eyes, "Viper someone could cast curcio on you and you would bat an eye. Don't give it was painful excuse, it doesn't work with you" she pointed out.

Kiara nodded at Viper's question,

"Yes, we talked last night, we were both having a sleepless night so we chated"

"Well what did he say about the...situation?" Viper asked, curious as to what the Defense Professor had said, assuming Kiara had asked him the same questions. Not only because she wanted an example of an excuse to give Kiara without revealing much, but also, although she would never admit it, she was genuinely curious.

Kiara smiled "He told me nothing in words.... but the fact he blushed and became nervous said quite bit." she said looking at Viper for her reaction.

Despite the amount of self-control she used, Viper barely fought back a smile as she a light pink tint covered her face and her gaze dropped to the floor. "Did he really?" she asked softly.

Kiara nodded "He did, so you do like him.. I thought as much. You are lucky Viper, he is a good man and friend" she said honestly.

Viper smiled softly to herself. "Yes, he is...He's different." she looked up at the Headmistress as one of her words confused her. "What do you mean I am lucky?"

Kiara looked down and sighed "Not all of us can find a good one Viper, your lucky" she said.

Not knowing how to respond, Viper merely nodded, before deciding, for once, to try and make things easier on Kiara. "Well, if Madame Lasharna does give you a hard time, you can tell her to come to me, I suppose."

Kiara looked surprised for a moment, "Thank you Viper that is nice of you, but I think I got Lasharna.. Knowing both of you there will be nothing left when you are both done killing each other. She is hostile with me, imagine what she will be like with you"

Viper raised an eyebrow. "Oh, now come on, Kiara. I know the woman has got almost a foot and a half over me, but I'm fairly confident I can take her." she said half jokingly, half seriously before settling on a more serious tone. "Very well, as you wish. But if the occassion calls for it, feel free to change your mind."

Kara laughed " I know you can take her Viper, I have dueled with you, and have seen you fight. But that is the problem fighting Lasharna will only cause more problems. However I will keep that in mind, thank you. You may want to warn your Slytherins that the moment Lashanra comes after me because of they prank they will have detention and their word they won't prank Lasharan's daughter again"

Viper rollled her eyes at the mention of the French headmistress. "Honestly, it was a prank. A disgusting prank, I'll admit, but children will be children. Will I still be able to supervise the detention or do you suppose she'll want to tag along and handle it herself?"

Kiara nodded "I know Viper and I agree with you, but Lasharna will stop at nothing until "justice" is made. You of course will be incharge if the detention. I wonld let her interfer with that. It is not her place." Kiara said, "I will not let control my school as if it is her own castle"

Viper nodded in comprehension. "I should hope so, for I have a feeling her idea of justice includes a guillotine..."
