A Small clearing in the forbidden forest

The woman appeared to want to flee. "E-eglantine Rosier." she muttered, voice still shaking. "S-s-she's a dark w-witch." She backed away from Kiara's limp body and Viper and Sevastyan.

"It h-happened to f-fast." she added.

Unknown the others the hidden pendant on around Sevastyans neck started to glow and heat up. Not to much it would burn, but enough to be felt.

Then a beam of blue light shot out of the Pendant and directly at Kiara's chest.

Within moments Kiara started to glow dimmly with the blue flames, however if one looked closely enough you could see emerald green in the mix as well. Looking remably like the green killing curse.

Then she took a deep gasping breath and started to cough harshly. As wakfullness finally reached Kiara she felt pain, all over, but she welcomed it. It meant she was alive again.

She could taste the salty taste of blood in her mouth, but she whipped it away with her black rode sleeve.

Then she opened her eyes....

((There... lol she is alive again!!!))

Viper rolled her eyes. Too fast? Perhaps the woman's movements were as fast as her speech...

Just as Viper opened her mouth to reply to the woman, a beam of light forced her gaze away, attracting it towards the source.

"What the hell?!!" her mind hissed.

"Kiara?" she breathed out, before getting a grip on herself, forcing her attention back to the unknown woman. Kiara had Sevastyan beside her so she would be fine so there was no reason for Viper to lower her guard.

Sevastyan could feel a source of heat apart from his own, though ignored it largely. His chief concerns were before him, not upon him. "And vot makes you think the Headmistress vould allow somevone who vould deliberately hurt the children here to teach at the school?" he asked, but was caught off guard by an almost blinding blue beam of light.

Had that... come from him? The Russian was pretty sure the only magic he had going was the shield. It couldn't have been. Yet the color was so familiar: it was the same hue as....

The pendant, his mind gave him a bit of a nudge. Assuming Amaranth had him covered, Sevastyan dropped his guard but not the shield spell and removed the pendant from his person, fastening the cord around Kiara's neck just as she coughed. The Russian immediately scooted several inches away, startled by the sudden difference from dead to alive. Was this a trick? Had the cloaked woman managed to turn the Headmistress into an Inferi before they arrived? If that was the case the mysterious newcomer would not be leaving this forest on her own two feet: of that much Sevastyan was certain.

Noticing that the blue irises were not altered the way an Inferi's were, the Russian heaved a sigh of relief and placed a firm hand at Kiara's shoulder. "Easy..." Sevastyan whispered, not daring himself to speak much more than that in the event this was just some hallucination.

The woman screamed, a single shrill note that caught in her throat. She turned and ran, obviously frightened beyond thought that Kiara had returned to the land of the living.

Kiara attempted to focus her eyes on the figure in front of her as she continued to cough into her sleeve, her chest hurt like there was no tomorrow...

"Sss Se Sevast..yan... I...need... to....g.get to... my... offi..ce... quickly..not... much... time" she gasped out.

At a scream she turned her head slightly wincing at the movenment. She was only mildly surprised that Viper was there, but confused as to who the figure running away was.

She winced in pain agian as a greenish glow surronded her momentarily before returning to normal.

Right when the cloaked woman started to flee, Viper ran right after her. "Levicorpus!" she whispered, aiming the hex at her.

The woman's body was jerked upside down and she hung form one ankle like a doll left behind on a swing. Her hood fell off, revealing a young face, maybe 16 or 17, and thick brown hair that fell to make a blanket over her head. "D-don't k-kill me, please!" she begged, tears streaming down her cheeks.

Sevastyan winced at the scream, but before he could do anything about it Amaranth had things under control. Likely a good thing, considering he wasn't quite sure if he were hallucinating or not. His brows furrowed, lines of worry creasing his forehead as Kiara spoke to him in gasps. The coughing was disconcerting, but very real, and now that Viper had things with the cloaked figure under control Sevastyan had thought he could chance some medical magic.

Until he spotted the all-too familiar green glow... the glow of the killing curse...

"No! Kiara... Stay vith us!" he practically growled the plea, hoping the roughness of his voice would be enough of a shock to keep her here. By whatever miracle magic had brought the Headmistress back to them, Sevastyan was not going to lose hope in the fact that whatever was keeping her alive would continue to do so for a little while at least. The Russian glanced around the clearing and when he didn't see the creature he sought let loose a very distinctive whistle.

A fierce gaze pierced the approximate area of the girl's face: whoever she was, she was young. Probably about student age. Sevastyan then looked to Amaranth as he heard cloven feet gallop towards them. "Please do vot you can vith that vone... I vill go on ahead and meet you in the Headmistress's Office," Sevastyan asked of his love, ignoring the nuzzle of Morana's nose against his head as he scooped Kiara into his arms and situated her onto Morana's back as best he could.

With masculine grace he climbed atop the thestral's back and made certain both he and Kiara were secure. Before even considering giving the creature the signal kick meaning 'go', Sevastyan set Amaranth with a gray-eyed worry unlike any other he'd shown thus far. It wasn't just Kiara he was concerned about, and his eyes showed it: they pleaded for Viper to be careful and not underestimate the potential foe.

Not that she would, Sevastyan reasoned, but he was not comforted by confidence in the least.

Viper ignored the girl's plea, instead taking the opportunity to glance at the girl. Clearly she was young, student-age though Viper did not recall ever seeing her before.

Her musings broke when she heard Sevastyan's voice and saw Morana beside him, nodding at what he asked of her. "I will." Noticing the intense worry in his eyes, she brushed it off with a smile. "Don't worry," she mouthed.

With that, she turned back to the girl, circling around the dangling form with her wand drawn in case she tried anything. "Alright dear, you have a choice. Be honest or have veritaserum down your throat, accompanied by my own litttle concoction that is designed to put you in agony should you even try to lie. What will it be?" The Slytherine warned with a raised eyebrow.

"Be-be h-honest." the girl whimpered, bravely trying to hold back her tears. "W-what d-do you ww-want to know." She was terrified of the darkness that surrounded her and the witch who looked like she just might kill her and feed her to some giant squid she knew lived in the Hogwart's lake.
"I am Eleutheria DeLanquar." she muttered, voice shaking but not as frightened. Maybe if she gave something to the witch, she would be more conversational.

Viper smirked at the girl's response. "Smart kid..." she nodded. Although the "kid" was probably only about five years younger than her.

An eyebrow arched at the offered name. Delanquar? "What relation are you to Professor Delanquar? Niece? Cousin?"

"N-niece..." she swallowed. Why hadn't she stayed home to watch the baby like her mother had suggested? Why hadn't she gone with her friends to that bar? Anything would have been better than dangling at the mercy of some dark witch.

Viper nodded. "Lovely. Nothing says "Hello Dear Aunt Egy" like attempting to murder her daughter-figure..." she replied dryly.

Levitating into a sitting position, Viper faced the dangled girl with a semi-amused and interested expression. "Tell me precisely why you're here." she asked as she conjured her goblet, sipping from it.

Eleutheria shook her head. The blood rushing to it, due to her position made it harder to think, but she did her best. "I-I don't know her. N-never m-met her. She's a d-dark w-witch that k-killed my uncle, her h-husband."

Wondering if her father would return for her, Eleutheria sighed. "I don't know." and now she had finally told the full truth. She had not real idea why her father dragged her along with him to his missions... why didn't he use his aurors?

Kiara opened her eyes after the green glow past and was replaced with her normal blue, only it was slighly dimmed, dimmer then the last time.

She had less then a hour before the curse ate through the limited life force saturn had left her.

She nodded her head to Sevastyan's plea or her to stay with them. She intended to...

She found herself curious as to who the girl was, she seemed rather young. But at the moment she had more pressing matters to attend to, like staying alive.

She would have sighed in relief if she could breath properly, When Sevastyan placed her on the thestrel, and they took off.

With the taste of blood still in her mouth she opted not to talk, plus her lung were hardly leting her breath enough to talk anyway.

So using her weakend magic she force an explaintion into words for Sevastyan to read.

"I am sorry to scare you Sevastyan, but there was now other way. The purgers had targeted and already severly hurt Eglantine... I needed to put a stop to it...."

The words faded for a moment as the greenish glow reappeared.

Kiara bit her tongue to keep from screaming, and wasting what little air she had.
Once the glow vanished she resumed her explaination in words.

"The Riddle name is worth more to purgers the Rosier, so I took her place in exchange for the oath they would leave Eglantine alone... The Pendant I gave you is the second chance power of the blue Pheonix. It gives me one hour to revive saturn after death. If I do i will be fine and Saturn will be reborn. If the hour expires before I can cast the spell, I'll die, for real... This is why I asked for you assitance this morning..."

The glow returned stronger this time and the pain on Kiara face was unmissable... and the light momentrily died in her eyes agian. But then it flared back and she looked at Sevastyan agian.

"Thank you Sevastyan, Viper as well it went perfectly...." she whispered harshly, saving the rest of her magic for the spell on Saturn's ashes.

Viper shot a "reassuring" smile at Eleutheria. "You know, your aunt really is a sweet woman. I'm not particularly close to her but hey, you might have better luck!" Viper nodded, dragging the girl's dangling form beside her. "Let's go meet her."

Eleutheria's eyes could not have gotten any bigger. "Me-meet her?" Now she was going to get the killing curse from her uncle's murderer wife... "She'll kill me, please d-dont, ma'am."

Despite the nod he gave to Amaranth that he wouldn't worry, the lines creasing his forehead deepened rather than relaxed. But he really had no other choices at the moment. Time was of the essence, and not even a single second could be wasted.

As Morana galloped at full speed, Sevastyan read the words that magically appeared. His whole body stiffened at the mention of 'purgers'. The Kaminskis weren't exactly innocent angels... not one of them. With the exception of Svetlana, who managed to stay out of what her brothers could not...

When the greenish glow appeared, Sevastyan gripped her shoulder to let her know he was there and that he would not let her go so long as he had the power and strength to do so. As the explanation continued, he understood even further.

Non-verbally casting a spell to open the great oaken doors to the Great Hall, Sevastyan directed Morana speedily through the castle and up its many flights of stairs. As they climbed a particularly long staircase on the thestral's back, Sevastyan noticed the green glow return even stronger this time.

"Ve are almost there... just hold on!" he beseeched her urgently, not at all liking the fact that he seen what appeared to be her life fading from her eyes. Relief washed over him when it returned. Sevastyan had seen too many soul-lights fade to be shocked by it, but by no means did he like the fact that it was happening to someone he'd grown to care about as much as he cared about Sveta.

"Save your energy, Kiara," Sevastyan whispered, his voice uneven due to the thestral's movements jostling him and his passenger about. "You can thank me ven Saturn is restored."

Viper shook her head. "No she won't. Relax, it'll be fine. I'm sure you'll enjoy the family reunion. In fact, she may still be asleep so in the meantime I'll take you on a tour of Hogwarts, particularly the Dungeons..."

Eleutheria groaned. The witch was insane or else...she wasn't. That was an even scarier thought. If she was telling the truth, then why had her father told and instilled in her the belief that Eglantine Rosier was a dark witch who had murdered her own husband and young daughter? It didn't make any sense and Eleutheria just wanted to climb into her bed and forget about it all...at least until morning.

Muttering a quick spell, Viper summoned Eleutheria's wand, storing it away within her robes. An eyebrow arched at the groan. "Don't throw an attitude with me, dear. Its early, your wandless, and there are no witnesses." she warned as she led the way to the dungeons.

Before she entered the castle, she cast a quick invisibility charm over the girl to avoid any suspicious stares from anyone who may encounter them as they made their way through the ancient school.
