Ancient Runes Office.

Calista is here most of the time she's not teaching...well, some of the time anyway.
Want to ask questions, get help or just annoy an ancient runes professor?
Here is the office to do so in.

It is a medium sized room, with a large dark wood desk in the centre, a few chairs scattered around the desk, a fireplace and a huge window.
The back wall is devoted to a whole row of bookcases, containing books or all shapes and sizes.
The floor is wooden, and the walls are pale blue, giving an illusion of the sky.
The room is generally uncluttered, until you approach the bookcase, which is constantly in use, not really that organised.

Calista is probably sat behind the desk working, or reading.
So knock and the door and come on in!

A silvery owl flew from the opened window and dropped a scarlet letter in front of Calista's desk.

Calista glanced up and noticed the letter, and the owl.
She smiled at the bird and reached for the letter, grabbing a letter opener from beside her and slicing it open easily.
She replaced the small dagger and unfolded the letter.

((lol I love letter openers...They are the coolest thing ever! Except cookies...and ducks and Voldie's ducks, that is... xD))

((Yes they are cool, especially when they are in the shape of swords! I got one from Espana!))

The letter simply said:

Go to the Rose Bushes, Mi Amor.

((Lol you lucky person! I asked my grandma for hers, but my mum said no *pouts* so what if I was 10?...I still really want that letter opener lol. Mini swords/letter openers RULE!))

Calista smiled, and rose from her seat, the letter still held in her hand.

Calista sat back down behind the familiar desk, the room seeming brighter. She glanced once more at the ring that glistened on her finger and smiled.
Then she shook her head slightly to clear it, and attempted to concentrate on planning her next lesson...

Kiara wondered over to Calista's office, she hadn't really talked with the newest professor all that much and she wanted to get to know her like she had been doing with the rest of the staff.

Walking up to her office she knocked.

Calista looked up and raised her wand, opening the door.
She laughed inside, thinking how overly dramatic that was. All she needed was clouds of smoke and an evil theme.
"Headmistress! Do come in." She smiled even more broadly. She was in an amazingly good mood.

Kiara smiled " You may call me Kiara if you wish to when not around student, Headmistress is basicly a something for the student to call me"

The Kiara cought sight the ring on Calista's finger.

"My he got you a beauty didn't he?' she said with a smile.

"Okay, Kiara." Calista blinked. "You knew?" Then she smiled. "And I would have to agree with you there." She gazed at the ring again.

Kiara nodded "Yes I knew"

Laughing Kiara wink at her "He was a nervous wreck, needed a little encouragement. I must say I am glad , you are both glowing with happiness it seems. So how did he do it? the proposal I mean"

Calista smiled gratefully. "Thanks..."
She smiled mysteriously. "Let's just say there was a mysterious note, a trail of butterflies and a Garden of Love."

Kiara smiled "Sounds wonderful"

"So how are your days teaching, what you expected at all?" Kiara asked.

Calista thought for a moment.
"Well I'm glad they chose to do my subject...And it is quite fun teaching latin..."
She laughed.
"No, I expected chewing gum, paper planes, numerous pranks...the whole thing. Fortunantly, that wasn't the case."

Kiara laughed "That is good to hear"

"So how are you handling everything else? with so much going on must be hectic."

"I'm just glad to be free..." Calista smiled.

Kiara similed "I bet you are, hard to say what would have happened if you had stayed in there any longer. If I may say so, you are lucky to still come out alright, Azkaban is the last place on earth to have a baby"

Kiara thought back to when she was one of the human guards in azkaban, when she found out she was with child, they pull her out quickly.

Then light heartedly she said "So what do you think you are having boy or girl? or do you know already?"

Calista laughed half-heartedly. "It takes more than prison to destroy a Vaight..."
She paused and thought for a moment. "I don't know...But I'd quite like it to be a surprise."

((*cough* boy *cough*))

Kiara nodded and smiled "Yes that what I did as well, it is the most wonderfull surpries you will ever get. Well if you ever need anyone to talk to someone beside Armando my office is always opened if you want to talk"

"You have a child?" Calista was surprised, she hadn't heard them mentioned before.
"And thank you...for everything really."

Kiara nodded "Yes did have a child a girl, her name was Serena......" Kiara said as a small but sad smile played on her lips. "You will love being a mother, I know it. and you are very welcome, any thing I can do to help"

Calista noticed the sadness and decided not to pry any further.
She sighed. "I just hope you don't get into trouble if we get found out."

Kiara smiled "Ah, now don't you worry about me, the ministry will have hell of a fight on there hands if they try anything stupid" she said with a wink.

Calista sighed. "Well, I am not going to be the one explaining how Armando came back from the dead and proposed to me. Thanks to a small group of helpful students, the whole pregnancy issue doesn't need explaining..."
She remembered Horatio's glare of anger, and her wand being thrown to the floor of the courtroom. She closed her eyes for a moment, trying to erase the picture of Raoul's confusion...and hurt.
He was her little brother...but he didn't understand her. And if he didn't watch out, he would end up just like the rest of them.
"This feud has gone on too long." She opened her eyes, talking more quietly. "It's about time they all realised that nobody even knows what the hell we're fighting about!"

Kiara sighed "It seems that is easier said then done, it is a difficult to to erase hate from someones heart when they don't want it to leave, even worse when they don't even know why any more. But hope still exisits, it is possible, look at you and Armando. There has got to be something, somewhy to make them see there constant hate is turning them against there own family now."
