Lessons and Homework

"Oh no, I meant the name of the prefect you knocked out." Viper asked, trying to keep the glee out of her voice.

"No not at all" Rachyy said. "It was quite hilarious though!" Addehkai hissed in enjoyment at the thought of Rachyy and Ana knocking out a Gryffindor prefect.

Viper shrugged. Oh well, as long as it was a Gryffindor, she smiled. "Lovely."

"Yes Professor, I've noticed those Gryffindors can be quite annoying and parasitic!" Rachyy said to her Professor.

Viper nodded. "Indeed. Especially when they go running to tell their Head of House how mean I'm being." she rolled her eyes.

"You aren't mean. I find you to be quite nice Professor." Rachyy smiled.

"I know right." she sighed as she summoned a goblet and drank from it. "They're all just very spoiled children who run to mummy and daddy at first light."

"Ah yes, I've noticed." Rachyy replied. Addehkai slithered off of Rachyy and up to Viper.

Viper smiled as she put the goblet down on her desk and accepted the snake. "Aren't you a beautie?" she asked softly in parseltongue as she stared at Addenkai's eyes, petting him.

Addehkai slithered up Vipers body to get to her shoulders and coiled up softly.

"How did you come up with the name?" she asked, still petting the snake.

"He told me it was already his name." Rachyy explained. "i was six years old. my parents had just died due to a camping accident. i found him as a baby and we found a connection and realized we could speak with each other. since then hes been by my side protecting and helping me along the way" Rachyy looked at her python with so much love in her eyes.

Viper smiled, remembering Rhiannon, the python she had when she was Rachyy's age. "How sweet."

Rachyy smiled at her Professors approval. "Addehkai really likes you alot. He's usually more defensive and protective of me so he wont take to someone that quickly. He usually scopes them out first." Rachyy esplained

Diana entered the classroom hesitantly. Well... least it was bigger than the broomstick closet.

Darien strolled in, grinning. "Hi there."

"What took you so long?" Diana demanded folding her arms.

"Traffic! There was a huge collision by the main stairs...and several roadworks in the entrance hall..."
Darien grinned impishly.

"Oh shut up," Diana said, shutting him up with her lips.

Darien kissed her back, hoping that a random professor wasn't going to interupt this time...

Sevastyan maneuvered his way around the dungeons, alert to the point of extreme paranoia after the whole incident with Kazimir Orlov. The phoenix pendant was around his neck, as was his habit of late, hidden as it were beneath other items of clothing so as not to arouse suspicion. Kazimir would suspect it to be a magical artifact the moment he seen it.

Arriving at the Potions classroom, and assuming Viper would be somewhere down here, Sevastyan didn't bother to knock and instead entered. "Amaranth?" Sevastyan queried and stepped in. It was a classroom, after all: not an office, or someone's personal chambers.......

.............. or, the next thing on Sevastyan's mind when he saw the pair: a broomstick closet. The Russian's jaw practically hit the floor out of shock, though a voice in the back of his mind reminded him that it should not have been such a surprise. Sevastyan certainly was not that innocent of a youth, either.

"Vot in Merlin's name do you two think you're doing in here?!" he asked, thunderstruck for anything better to say. "Miss Casillas, Mr. Vaight... a decent amount of space betveen the two of you... If. You. Please!"

Sevastyan averted his gaze momentarily, pinching the bridge of his nose. Why couldn't this have been something less... volatile? Wandering around after hours, deliberately making a mess, general disobedience - he could tolerate those. But this?! It hadn't been quite what he expected to have handed to him to deal with tonight...

Diana pushed apart from Darien, red as a tomato. "Professor!"

Darien took a step backwards, suddenly sheepish and noticed the professor's expression.
Darien bit back a laugh and obstinatly refused to look at Diana, knowing he would laugh if he did...
"Um...Hi Professor."

Once both students regained the capacity to speak, meaning that their lips were no longer locked on one another's, Sevastyan returned his gaze to them. He glanced curiously in Diana's direction at the exclamation, but then quirked a brow at Darien's casual greeting. "I vould advise against 'Hi Professor'-ing me at the moment, Mr. Vaight..." While the statement sounded rather comical, allowing himself to laugh at the student's reaction would only be rewarding the behavior.

"I trust that both of you realize how inappropriate this is? Being found so... involved?" he queried, the second eyebrow hiking up to meet the first at the emphasized word. "In a classroom, no less..."

Oh...Deja vu...
Darien had the strangest desire to laugh. He managed to contain himself...for the moment.
"Um...yes it's very inappropriate. Sorry. Er..." He was tempted to say they wouldn't do it again, but the second Viper was informed, that lie would be revealed. Darien closed his mouth before he said something stupid that would get Diana into trouble.
