The Castle and Grounds

Viper raised an eyebrow. "Thank you, Headmistress. But I find myself more than capable of walking into the castle and approaching a colleague alone without someone holding my hand." realizing how icy her word have sounded, she quickly added. "But thank you, Kiara, it is quite thoughtful."

Viper nodded. "I'll see you later, Kiara." she said as she headed back to the castle.

((wait, what. confused...thought Amy just added a post for Kiara...))

Persephone landed gracefully in the Castle grounds. Nicolas slipped off of her easily. He stroked her neck. "Do you want some more sugar?"

He got another hand full of sugarcubes out of his pocket.

Kiara walked out on to the grounds, Saturn, her phoenix flying over head.

Then not far away she saw a beautiful winged horse touch down. Remembering the warning of the horse being a bit temperamental, Kiara approached with caution.

"This must be Persephone" she said quietly still keeping a safe distance away.

Nicolas felt Persephone suddenly stiffen. He looked up and saw the Headmistress approaching them. "It's alright Persephone, it's only the Headmistress. Be good or else she won't let us stay."

"Hello Headmistress," Nicolas replied. "Yes, this is her."

"Would you like to pet her?" He asked.

Kiara nodded, she had always had a soft spot for magical animals, when she had free time she was always in the stables.

"Only if she doesn't mind"

"Here," Nicolas said getting a few sugarcubes from his pocket, "Give her some of these, she'll warm up to you a lot faster."

Nodding Kiara took the sugar cubes and slowly approched Persephone.

"Here you go, don't worry I don't mean any harm, I am willing to be friends if you are." she said bowing her head slightly in respect.

Persephone approached the Headmistress hesitantly as if to test the waters. She then gave the Headmistress a slight nod.

"Headmistress, it's alright, I think she trust you." Nicolas said giving Persephone a proud pat.

Kiara smiled "Good" she said a she petted Persephone's head.

Then over head Saturn let out a thrill.

"Oh Saturn.... you jealous chicken... You would think you would be used to me being with other animals by now." kiara said as she held out her arm for Saturn to land on.

((lol jealous chicken))

"Saturn?" Nicolas chuckled, "Looks like we like our share of Mythology Headmistress."

Persephone nodded her head at Saturn.

"Yeah, I don't think she minds animals as much. It's only humans she doesn't trust." Nicolas said as if it was something he believed himself.

Kiara thought about it for a moment.

"Hmm I don't blame her I guess the things humans have done to these creatures over the years it is no wonder."

"That's how I got Persephone, actually." Nicolas said.

"There were these Wizards who were trying to make her lift a seven ton load, Athenons are strong but... it was obvious she couldn't be able to pull it yet alone, lift it. They were whipping her madly...She was just a pony!" Nicolas said angrily.

"Thats awlful..."

Looking over at Persephone she said.

"Don't worry, no one will harm you here"

"They better." Nicolas said under his breathe. He was willing to protect Persephone at all cost.

Over hearing the gryffindor Kiara smiled in understanding.

"Don't worry Mr. Casillas, No one has harmed a creature if this kind on hogwarts ground in many years. Not to mention anyone caught abusing an animal on these grounds will be expelled."

Nicolas nodded. Not to mention, he would have his own punishment in store to whoever dares.

"Would you like to ride her Professor?"

Kiara's eyes widened and she looked at Persephone.

"You do you think? Do I pass your test?" she asked leaving the decision on the animal if she could ride or not.

"I do." Nicolas nodded. "She let to touch her which is more than what she allows most people. I think she took a liking to you."

"Here," Nicolas said stepping back. "I'll step away. Just ask her if you can ride her and she'll nod her head if she'll allow you to."

Turning to Peresphone Kiara asked.

"So it is up to you, can I have you permission to ride you?"
