The Castle and Grounds

But it was too late, Diana had already freed herself. And just in time too, she was on her feet and with her Quidditch senses able to dodge the spell.

She knew how to end this.

"Stupefy!"

Ana heard another voice shouting just as she cast her spell. "Stupefy!"
Two jets of bright red light connected in midair and exploded, filling all available space. Ana was sent flying backwards and hit a wall, launched upwards by the force of the combined spells.
Groaning, she covered her head with her hands and gripped her wand tightly.
The intense heat was gone and she fell over a metre, to the stone floor. Her head was spinning and the blackness overwhelmed her.

Not long after she entered the Dungeons Kiara could hear an exchange of spells.

At the sound of two stupifies and an explosion Kiara quickened her pace.

Diana, was minutely aware that her opponet sent her the same spell before was sent flying backwards.

She was minutely aware of the explosion that their spells combined had made as she was faced with the difficultly of breathing.

She was minutely aware of the sensation of flying before she hit her head on the floor.

Diana was now unaware, she was unconsicious.

Once she entered the room Kiara found the two students unconsicious on the floor.

"Oh no.."

Waving her wand over both of them she took them both to the hospital wing.

A red fox made its way across Hogwarts grounds and entered the castle. It was a large fox, with a thick coat clean and red with a bushy red and white tail. A single black eye glinted in the light afforded by the day as it snuck along the hallway. As if it knew the castle's lay out; it easily found a secret door by a large stone statue and slipped into the hole behind it.

Ana gripped her wand tightly, keeping an ear open for any unusual sound. The grounds were empty and still. She wondered if she was meant to be outside the castle walls...but it was too late to bother about that now. "Ana..."
She turned, slowly lowering her wand. "Father...Darien?!"
Her brother grinned at her, less of a smirk than usual. "Come on Ana, you can't betray us like this."
"I'm not betraying you!"
Her father pushed Darien away. "Go back."
Ana watched her brother retreat. He'd been being more friendly and brotherly lately. Ana gazed at her father, biting her lip as she waited for him to speak.
"You know what you have to do, Ana."
"I know father. But-"
"NO argument. Go." He turned, impatient and stalked away, cape billowing in the wind.
Ana turned and ran. Faster and faster, until she couldn't breathe. She sat down on the grass and caught her breath. Hogwarts had been like a home to her...The Professors had been kind...But her father...
She remembered Darien's warning, and the way he looked at her, not his usual smirk. He wanted her to help her school...But father had told her to help them. Ana's shoulders fell. She'd made her decision. Angrily, she began to run back into the school, to the Great Hall.

Kiara ran through the grounds thanking the fates new moon was starting the phase, her lungs had less of a problem.

Once out side wards of Hogwarts she stopped and pulled her sleeve up, revealing the mark.

"Who would have thought I would be doing this, of all things?" she said to her self.

taking out her wand Kiara pointed it at the mark and concentrated. It was like picking a lock.

Then as if it clicked Kiara vanished in a cloud of Black haze.

Resisting the urge to break down cry right there Kiara continued moving, she had to prepare hogwarts fo what was to come.

At a rather quickened pace Kiara turned her head to Miss Casillas as she made her way back to the caslte.

"Were you hurt at all?"

"No," Diana said softly.

"What's going to happen now? Now that he is fully back I mean."

Kiara's eyes darkened,

" I am not sure yet, first I need to make sure Hogwarts is secure, as well as inform the ministry, but as for what going to happen in the long run.... I don want to say"

Eglantine had had a house-elf retrieve her cloak from her rooms and now waited by the front doors for Kiara, as she had been instructed to.

Kiara moved over to the stables and found the thestrels inside, she harnest them and hooked them up to the carage.

"Come on front of the castle you know where it is" she said to them.

Following behind them she saw Eglintine at the front of the castle.

"What are they?" Eglantine asked, curious. The creatures looked fairly harmless, but she wanted to be certain.

Kiara smiled though a bit sadly.

"They are thestrels, I thought you would be able to see them, they can only be seen by someone who who has seen someone die. They are gental creatures though" she said as she patted the dark but beautiful horse like creature.

Climing on to the carage she reached her arm out to help Eglantine up onto it.

"Thank you." Eglantine said taking the offered hand. She silently levitated herself to not give away how weak she was and then settled down in the carriage.
"What is Hogsmeade like?" she asked.

Kiara smiled again as she gave the thestrels a nod and they started moving.

"It is a wizarding Village, it has a few shops and cafe's, the students always enjoy going on trips there, It should be nice to going somewhere different for a change"

"Ah. Does it have a pub?" rather ashamed to ask, but Eglantine decided that a drink would probably be most helpful.

Kiara laughed, she hadn't expected that.

"Yes a few of them in fact, although I think you will like Three broomsticks better. The people who own it are really nice, The other Hogs Head is just creepy"

"The Three Broomsticks?" Eglantine chuckled. "Sounds very interesting. Who does own it?"

"Hannah and Neville Longbottom a married coupled run the place. They're nice people, I think you'll like them"

"They used to attend Hogwarts, did they not?" Eglantine had heard enough about Harry Potter and his friends to place Neville Longbottom on the list.

Kiara nodded,

"Yep, both of them were in the D.A. as well. We should be there soon"

"The D.A?" Eglantine repeated, obviously lost. "What does that stand for?"

Kiara nearly hit herself.

"Sorry, the DA was made famus after the battle of hogwarts that people just assume you know what it means. The DA stands for Dumbledore's Army, dispite its name it was started by Harry Potter and his friends so they could teach them selves defence, since the teacher they had at the time refused to teach them any thing useful. The result of the DA was students able to protect them selves against the death eaters and Dementors if I remember correctly"
