The Castle and Grounds

Enter the mystical Castle of Hogwarts

Explore the magical castle as much as you want, It is the weekend so no class you are free to explore. There are a number of adventures to take on within the walls of the old castle so go, pick one and have fun.

1)There is a rumor going around the school that a Vampire lives in the dungeons of the castle. There could be, a first year Slytherin girl came screaming from the dungeons saying something had bit her. Witnesses say the girl looked as pale as a ghost. The girl had disappeared the next day, and was never saw again. Could the thing that bit the girl still be in the dungeons?

2)Peeves is on the rampage again, not only is he still picking on "innocent" first years but he is making a mess of the halls and classrooms. Can he be taught a lesson? Will the students of Hogwarts declare war on Peeves once and for all?

I will let both scenario's built up before I release the "Vampire" and Peeves loose on you.

"Helena," Diana said exasperatedly. "What in the world are we doing here? It's creepy."

"Shh... we're looking for the vampire." Helena said. She was leading and Diana was following her, rather hesitantly. Diana didn't want to go, but Helena give herself more detentions than anyone Diana had ever known, Diana wanted to be there just in case she got herself in any real danger.

"Vampire... what are you saying?" Diana said. "You're mad! ...Wait, you aren't going on about that rumour again are you?"

"Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner," Helena said. "Now shut up, you'll scare it away."

Diana was dragged, rather forceably, deeper into the dungeons.

It was so...crowded.
So loud...
Students crowded everywhere, taking up every inch of space and chattering mindlessly. Ana glared furiously at her book. When she'd sat down, the place had been deserted.
Now it was full of students.
She slammed the book shut and walked along the corridors, an idea forming in her mind. Separating herself from the crowds, Ana descended into the dungeons.
Maybe here she'd be able to read in peace.
Ana sat down on the floor, her back against the cold stone wall,took out her book and began to read again. The sound of footsteps came to her ears. Too many for one person. Ana closed the book and pulled out her wand. Who dared disturb her now?! Whoever it was, they would pay...

"Helena," Diana said exasperatedly. "I'm pretty sure that's just a rumour, let's go play chess or something up in the Common Room."

Gryffindors!
"Oh yes, Gryffindors are so loyal aren't they? Squabbling in corridors is clearly a display of true friendship." Ana stepped forward into a patch of light, wand held ready. Nobody disturbs her quiet time! Nobody! Least of all some Gryffindors!
Glaring with as much force as she could muster, Ana ran through some spell ideas in her head, prepared to attack.
"And of course, they are clearly very brave...after all, dungeons are terrifying. The stone walls are so very intimidating, and the bright torches are enough to send people running..."
Ana smirked at the two Gryffindors. Were they going to bother with a comeback? She cast a critical eye over them both. No...Probably not.

((lolz, I think we sound like gang members))

Diana jumped at the sound of someone else's voice.

"You're right Diana, there is nothing down here." Helena said looking at the Slytherin girl who appeared in front of them.

((lol!))

Ana rolled her eyes at the pathetic duo.
"Oh I'm wounded. Really I am. I'm only a pure-blooded Slytherin who could easily pound you into complete and utter oblivion...But if I'm nothing; what exactly does that make you?"
She held her wand limply at her side, appearing to be casual, but all the muscles in her arm tensed and ready to fight.

Diana tugged on Helena's sleeve, "Come on!"

Helena shrugged her off and laughed at the Slytherin. "And what exactly does having pureblood got to do with anything? What are you going to do? Bleed until we past out?"

Ana smirked. Finally, some of the Gryffindor 'courage'.
"I could do, since we both know that wouldn't take very long..."

"Oh, don't cut yourself on our account. We're sorry, we didn't mean it." Helena said sounding anything but.

"I wasn't under the impression your...comrade...had actually said anything offensive, so I would have to question your use of the incorrect pronoun." Ana smirked, amused by the girl's jibes.

Helena clicked her lips. "Typical Slytherin, doesn't understand subtle insults. Honestly, their gross inbreeding has affected their brain.”

“Yes,” Diana said getting annoyed. “Now we are done. Good-bye.”

Ana glanced down at her watch.
"Not bad, that's almost the amount of time it took the last group of losers to run from me. Although, considering their age, they were braver than both of you..."
Ana pointed her wand at the floor and muttered a spell, as quietly as she could. An invisible trip jinx now stretched behind the Gryffindors. Her lips curved into a bolder smirk of defience. They wouldn't be able to see it of course, and would doubtless presume her incantation hadn't worked.

"That must be nothing new, people running from you, it's no wonder you cut yourself! You really ought to stop doing that, wouldn't want all that pureblood wasted." Helena turned to leave but ended up activating the trip jinx.

"Gah!"

Ana laughed, her laughter echoing off the stone walls, sounding quite insane.
"Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean there's nothing there. You really shouldn't underestimate me!"
She held her wand up in a defensive position, ready to block any attack they might throw at her.

"That was uncalled for," Diana said, fullly annoyed at the cheeky little Slytherin. "Avis!"

Ana was surprised, she had to admit it. She hadn't expected a flock of small birds. She quickly flicked through her memory, as the birds hurtled towards her. They pecked and tore at her and in pain and irritation, she cried out.
"Incendio!"
Small burnt feathers floated to the ground. Ana realised she was crouching on the ground, arms over her head. Annoyed, she stood up, pushing strands of hair back from her face.
Ashamed of herself, she glared with unreserved hatred at the Gryffindors.
"LANGLOCK!"

The smell of fried chicken filled the air as the ashes of the birds fell to the floor.

If Diana could have spoken she would have commented on animal cruelty. She glared at the Slytherin. Little did the Slytherin know, Diana was well practised in nonverbal spell casting.

"Confundo!" Diana thought.

Ana's mind became a confused mess. Swearing, she sank down to the floor and tried to concentrate.
She remembered her mother's voice from years before.
"Concentrate, order your thoughts!"
Ana fought inwardly, knowing that every second was leaving her open to attack. She knew better than to organise her entire mind, it would take too long and she vulnerable.
Fighting to hold one thought she muttered, "Protego totalum".
Non-verbal spells, of course. How could she have been so stupid? She'd left herself wide open to attack. Her father would be ashamed of her.
A new anger fought it's way to the surface of her mind, fuelling her determination. She had to regain control!

"Finite Incantatem," Diana thought, pointing her wand at her mouth.

The shield the Slytherin put up was silly. It was only good for protecting areas. She only suceeded in wasting her energy by trying to protect her space. A simple 'Protego' would have done the trick. Besides, the shielding spell only protects from direct attack.

"Serpensortia!"

Ana opened her eyes. The room seemed blurred and she heard a voice, as though from far away shout a spell. Her eyes adjusted, her ears were still muffling sound. A dark shape appeared in her vision. A snake!
Ana leapt to her feet, amazed she managed to remain upright. Adrenelin raged through her, sharpening her reflexes. Serpentsortia... How ironic.
Ana smiled, pointing her wand at the snake.
"Incendio." The snake became an inferno.
"Lets see how you like it..." Ana muttered, pointing her wand at the Gryffindor. "Confundo!" But she was not going to underestimate her opponent again. "Obscuro. Incarcerous!"

((Hey! One spell at a time! Slytherin! Because of that none of your spells will hit me.))

"Protego!" Diana shouted a spells hit her one after the other. They simply bounced off of her shield.

"Tarantallegra!"

((I'm a Slytherin - can't help it...))

Ana jumped to one side, the spell narrowly missing her foot. She stood up, rubbing her shoulder where it was bruised. "Protego" she muttered.
"Incarcerous!"

Diana was eloped in ropes, but not before she threw one more spell at her opponet.

"Expelliarmus!"

Ana cursed as her wand fell to the floor. She darted after it and slipped on the stone floor. She knew she had to stop Diana from freeing herself.

"Stupefy!"
