Darien fought back and locked the wolf safely behind a wall.
He fell onto the floor, but nt changing into a wolf...
He stayed human...

Ana got ready to stun at a second's notice, wondering what was going on with the internal war.

Aiden kept trying to get in, although he was glad couldn't at the moment.

"Keep going Darien, you are doing better" he thought as he slamed in to the wall again.

Darien shoved back with equal force, while the wolf threatened to rise.
He forced it back down, whilst forcing Aiden to stay out of the wall.
He felt his energy being drained, as though he had run a mile.

In the real world Aiden stumbled backward.

The outside the boreders of Dariens mind Aiden gave one last shove on the wall.

Darien's wall weakened slightly and part fell.
But the wolf remained locked away.

"Almost there Dar" thought Aiden as he sought out the memories that held a angry feeling.

The wolf howled within him, but the wall held.
Darien tried to force Aiden out of his mind, but his energy was failing.
But at least he wasn't a wolf yet.

Aiden stumbled back slightly but he was impressed the wall around the wolf had yet to come down.

Then he was curious to see how far he could go, finding a string of drumstrang memories he pulled on it.

Darien winced as the memories flooded back, the betrayal of the new teacher...Jake's body lying motionless on the dungeon floor...
The wolf howled more fiercly, but the wall stayed up...

Aiden kept going becoming more and more impressed with how well Darien was doing.

Coming across a string of memory concerning Ana, Aiden shook his head and skipped over it.

Then he found one concerning Dariens father, that one he pulled on.

Darien realised what that memory was...
"No..."
Flashback time!
"You are a failure." There was finality in the voice.
"But...Father-"
"You are a pathetic spineless worm, why can't you control yourself?! You nearly decapitated your uncle Darien!"
Tears streamed down his face. "I'm sorry!"
"Daddy..."
"Not now!" Reginald turned, and stopped. "Oh I'm sorry Ana, your brother's been bad."
"No...Uncle was bad." Ana pouted. "Uncle told Darien he was a freak..."
"Ana...what do you mean?"
Ana folded her arms. "Uncle hit Darien! He was trying to provoke him!"
"We will discuss this later Ana, go! Go!"
Ana left. Darien's tears slowed, until his father hit him. Backhanded across the face. Pain and anger flared in his eyes.
"Dad!"
"You ruined the party! All of the people there were going to give us customers! We'll be lucky if we make a profit this year and it's all your fault!"
Reginald stormed out, leaving Darien alone, in the dark...

Darien opened his eyes, felt his teeth lengthening, but he threw up the wall, tried to reinforce it.

Ana braced herself, ready to fire a stunning curse.

Amy who had been observing eveything form her like with Aiden thought over to Ana.

"I think he is getting the hang of it"
Then she thought over to Aiden.

"Aiden try one more memory then I think we have done enough for today"

Aiden went deeper into Dariens mind, where emotion memories were thicker, and pulled on one ...worst fears...

Darien's mind whirled.
His worst fear...
A huge wolf emerged, blocking out the sun. It's eyes glowed red, and it lunged at him, pulling him one way, towards darkness and blood.
He tried to pull back, but it was too strong.
His worst fear...
was himself!

He fought harder, strengthening his wall, but the wolf broke through.
He howled and Ana stunned him.

Aiden pulled himself out breathing heavily, "well I don't think.. he will have a problem... once he rebiulds that wall of his... It took his worst fear for him to change that time"

Amy move beside her brother feeling winded herself.

"Yes he did very well.... I am impressed concidering.... he had nothing there when we started" she said.

Turning to Ana she asked "is he alright?"

"Yeah, he's fine." Ana nudged him with a toe as he returned to human form.
She unfroze him and pulled him to his feet.
Darien promptly fell down again, landing very undignifiedly on his back.
"Ow."

Amy smiled, "Congrats Dar, you are well on your way, I am impressed and I am not easily impressed"

Ana smirked. "I was too, until he failed to stand up."
"Silence, wench." Darien hissed at his sister.
Ana rolled her eyes.
Darien scrmabled onto all fours and began to stand up, on one knee.
Ana casually kicked his leg from under him and he fell flat on his face.
"Silence...wenchie." She grinned.
Darien growled in response.

The twins laughed,and Amy said "Well this concludes this lesson, and Darien just to warn you you will on killer of a headache tomorrow. So have a pain killer ready, just going all out with makeing wall like this can be painful."

"Great." Darien stood up slowly.
"Anyone got a pain-relief potion on them?"
Ana rolled her eyes. "Yes, of course! I always carry medication around with me."
"Always so sarcastic. It gets old."
"Oh, like you?"
Darien rolled his eyes. "You are just jealous because I'll be able to have firewhisky before you."
"I don't intend to wait, oh goody-two-shoes brother."

Amy laughed again "I think I have a extra vile you can have Darien, I got plenty"

"Thanks Amy...See! Some people carry medicines with them!" He smirked down at Ana. "In. Your. Face."
Ana rolled her eyes. "You are pathetic."

"Well they are in my bag in the common room, I don't need them during the day"

"Hah! See, noone carries them around with them!" Ana smirked right back at Darien, who turned his head the other way.
"Pathetic little girl.- ow!"
Ana smiled sweetly. "My foot slipped, and connected with your knee."
Darien edged away from his sister. "You scare me."
Ana smiled. "It's my job...well, more of a hobby really."
