The Infirmary

Juria looked over to the new presence.

"Hello, I'm the school Doctor, ill help you out.”

Juria went over to Zeb and looked at his cut.

"Hmm a nice clean cut, it must have hurt but don’t worry, ill get it all taken care of."

Juria smiled beautifully and went into a cabinet quickly. She got out a razor and a small alcohol pad. Because it was on his eyebrow, she had to shave carefully around the area otherwise something might get in it and keep it from healing.

"Please stay still for me."

She smiled and worked on the area carefully. While she worked, she wanted to make the student feel comfortable.

“My name is Juria by the way… are you new here? Or I just have not seen you around?”

She smiled and worked carefully, to not cause any pain.

Zeb smiled nervously at the females surrounding him, nodding politely to each one. He winced slightly as Juria went about healing his injury, flinching slightly from the sting.

"Zeb. Zeb Balducci. Um, I'm kind of new here, I suppose you could say. I'm from Italy but my father has allowed me to stay here with my Madre until I graduate." he explained, consciously forcing himself not to fidget.

Becca giggled when she saw the nervous boy "So what house are you in? and what year?" she started a conversation with him.

Raven shook her head, she knew Becca was doing more then having a conversation with the young boy, she was flirting with him. Raven flipped another page already half way done with the book. She wondered why she always flirt with almost every guy she sees.

she must be desperate or lonely Raven thought reading on in her book.

Zeb raised an eyebrow at the cascade of questions, but opted to be polite and refrain from saying anything. "Ravenclaw, 6th year." he replied. "And yourself and your friend?"

"I'm 4th year, and in Hufflepuff" Becca replied giggling.

"And this is Raven she's in Slytherin, 7th year"

Zeb nodded in response. "Nice to meet you both."

"pleasures all mine, and it's very nice to meet you" Becca smiled.

Zeb nodded, a little unnerved by the obvious flirting. "Ditto." he offered.

Juria smiled a little, she could also see the hinting of trying to flirt. She finished her job quickly and put a patch over the cut.

"There you go Zeb, all clear, come to me later for a change in bandages."

Juria smiled then started with small talk,

"You are a Ravenclaw? I was also when I was in school here.”
She smiled at the student.

Becca looked at Juria and frowned "I'm bored can I get up now?" she asked.

Juria turned her head and looked at the student. She laughed slightly and replied,

"Yes I think you are able to move now, but test it out to see if it hurts yet."

Juria turned her eyes back to Zeb, who probably felt as if he was surrounded by too many girls.

"Are you feeling alright Zeb?"

She smiled and questioned.

Zeb grinned when Juria said she was in Ravenclaw. "Cool! Best House ever, huh? Same with my Madre. She was in Ravenclaw too."

"Just fine, thanks to you." he replied, bowing slightly in a gesture of thanks.

Becca got up slowly and making sure everything was alright. She took a couple steps and nothing happened and she smiled, "Thank Juria!!!" she smiled skipping to out of the infirmary "Come on Raven!!" she got to the door "Bye Juria!"

Juria watched as Becca started to skip

"HEY!! WATCH IT!!"

Juria started laughing,

"Don’t injure yourself again!! That would be bad."

Juria smiled, showing her teeth.

"See you later."

She then announced as they left, then turned her attention back to Zeb.

"Yes I agree, best house ever."

Juria laughed whole heartily then smiled.

"Are you enjoying your classes Zeb?"

Raven laughed at Becca's stupidity and got up off the chair, "I'll talk to you later, bye Juria," she smiled leaving the room with a skipping Becca.

Zeb nodded. "I haven't been to them all yet since I just got here, but yeah. Everything's pretty good so far. What about you? Having fun stitching up busted students?" he chuckled.

Juria smiled and sighed,

"Yep, how fun it is to hear everyone's whining."

Juria grinned in a funny way.

"I'm sure you will love all your teachers, what is your favorite subject?"

Zeb shrugged. "Transfiguration, I guess. But Defense Against the Dark Arts is quite interesting as well. Not to mention Herbology. I used to help my Madre grow her garden back in Italy. What were your favortie subjects as a student?" he asked politely.

Juria smiled, the boy was polite and charming. No wonder Becca tried to flirt with him.

"I never really had too much favorites, I enjoyed Potions and Defense Against the Dark Arts the most... however I can’t really say I had favorites. I loved all my classes."

Juria smiled.

"Well I think your cut is going to heal fine, no scar."

Juria happily reported.

Zeb grinned. "Thanks so much! How can I thank you?" he asked politely. In Italy, he normally gave his teachers and tuotra small tokens of thanks such as flowers and chocolate. However, nowadays he was more cautious considering the last one ended up being allergic to both.

Juria smiled gently and responded,

"I am just happy that I could help."

Juria put the items back and asked with her back turned,

"Have you made many friends?"

"No, not really." Zeb replied with a slight shrug. "Me and my Madre just arrived so there hasn't been much time to get to know anyone all that well yet."

Juria turned around and smiled at him,

"Well if you ever want to talk to anyone, you can come here and talk with me, I always enjoy the company. But you are officially healed now, you may leave."

Juria smiled and announced he was free to leave.

Becca came in the infirmary with Cosette seeing Juria and Zeb "Hi Juria I have a new patient for you" Becca smiled and looked at Cosette "Maybe we should hang out some time, well i got to go bye!" Becaa left.
