Restricted Section

Diana shook her head. "They probably brought his body back from Egypt. They're probably going to put him in our family tomb."

"Then lets go!" Ana began to walk briskly.
"The longer we take, the longer it has to rot. Don't want him to wake up covered in mould..."

"Wait..." Diana said. "How do we make them," she gestured at her locket and Ana's dagger, "work?"

"Improvise." Ana replied.
"Lets face it, no one apart from us even knows about the life force, it's hardly going to have instructions."

"Good point..." Diana said. "Alright, where can we use the Floo Network?... Wait, can Darien apparate us to Spain?"

"Probably, we'll have to go find him."
Darien?

Fine. On my way.

Darien strolled casually through the doors.
"Did someone call?"

That was odd... Diana blinked back her suspicions. There were more pressing matters at hand. "Could you take us to Spain?"

"...Why?" Darien raised an eyebrow.
"To resurrect her uncle."
"What?!"
"Darien just shut up. We'll explain on the way, now let's get going."
Ana began to walk out of the library.

Viper scanned through the list of potions books rather irritatedly. For a school library over a thousand years old, the books were certainly outdated, she mused as she read some of the old potions books with half the potions in it updated into much better versions.

Pulling out a piece of parchment and quill, she decided to write down a list of books whose versions needed to be updated.

Horatio entered the restricted section of the library, smiling when he saw a busy Professor Viper writing.

"Good day, Professor!" he exclaimed cheerfully, walking up behind her. He stuck his pipe in his mouth and sighed deeply.

Viper raised an eyebrow at the familiar voice. "Good day, Professor McKevin." she replied with a small smile.

While Viper may have been rather mean to the older gent during their first meeting, she didn't have anything against him. In fact, she was rather impressed with his patience and unwavering good nature.

"Would I be to bold if I asked how your day has been, Professor?" he asked, puffing out a smoke shape that morphed from snake to wheel, rolling and rolling in a circle.

"The usual: children refusing to follow instructions and causing accidents, groaning when homework appears. What about you, Professor?" Viper inquired politely, trying to ignore the enticing smell of the smoke coming from the older wizard's pipe.

Horatio chuckled. "The same, I suppose. Looking forward to the Yule Ball?" he yawned slightly, and wrinkled his nose.

Viper's smile grew as she thought of her date to the Yule Ball. "Very much so. I take it you are as well?"

"Yes, Professor DeLanquar granted me the honour. You are going with Professor Kaminski, eh? You two do make a lovely couple." he ran his hand over his beard, as several bits of ash had fallen into it from his pipe.

Viper blushed lightly at compliment. "I could say the same about you and Professor Delanquar."

"How kind of you!" Horatio beamed. "She does make everything about her better doesn't she, even me I suppose. Heavens! Look at that I'm blushing red." the older professor chuckled heartily. "What brings you to this fine area?"

Viper nodded with a smile. "Well, I'm having a laugh at how outdated these books are and am now trying to see which editions are needed to be updated. And you?" she inquired, wondering if perhaps he was meeting Eglantine nearby.

"Ah sounds interesting." Horatio nodded. "Me, I was looking for you actually."

A raven eyebrow arched in response. "Indeed? Whatever for?" Viper inquired, genuinely curious.

Horatio chuckled, "Curious are we?" he kidded. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out a vial. "You are a potions mistress, a fine one I'm sure. Only a true one would appreciate this. One of the most rare of potion ingredients..."

Viper fought back a smile, as she situated herself into a levitated position. "I'm listening intently..."

"A nymph's tear." He handed her the delicate vial. "Took many years to acquire, and now I give it to you, as my days of making new potions are at an end."

Viper gaped at the bottle, shooting Horatio an "Are you serious" look. "Professor I-I don't know what to say. I couldn't..."

Back at the department, there was one vial of a nymph's tear, however it was strictly off limits to ECHO's basic experimentation. In order to use it one had to fill a good three years worth of research paperwork to file a request form to receive the ingredient.

To be given the ingredient freely...Viper didn't quite understand the motive at hand.
