Dueling Demo

Eglantine pulled her wand from her pocket, in case the next few spells further injured either duelist. This was a terrible idea, she thought.

Viper tried to block the spell once more, was a moment too late for she was still struck with the spell, although a milder version, leaving her in a fit of giggles and her balance slightly affected.

"Levicorpus" she managed in between giggles.

"K-Kiara, I-I need to say something, b-but p-please d-don't be offended" she uttered, her giggles overcoming her. "O-Or angry." she breathed out, swaying dangerously.

Kiara winced as the levicorpus lifted her up in the air.

"Liberacorpus"

Flipping back on to the platform she was careful to land on her good leg.

"Usually when someone says that it most likely will offend". She said with a raised eye brow.

"Stupefy!"

This time Viper was able to put up a shield, although the strength of the stunners managed to knock her to the ground, snapping her out of her confusion.

Sommersaulting closer to Kiara she softly said. "Look, everyone needs a friend, I know that, I understand that and I realize that Eglantine is one of yours, however, I feel the need to warn you of this: her mind is weak, vulnerable to any attack, so you may want to take heed of anything that slips your lips in her presence." she cautioned sincerely and honestly, with no trace of venom or nastiness in her tone or appearance.

When she remembered that there were others watching and they were getting agitated and bored by the mute conversations she snapped back into dueling, smirky slytherine mode. "Now let's see how good of a snake charmer you are, Headmistress! Serpentsortia!"

Kiara eyed the snake as it slythered toward her,

" I don't fear snakes" she said as she let the snake advance on her.

Quickly she picked up the serpant from behind it's head, The snake hissed at her rearing its deadly fangs.

"Fera Verto"

The snake turned in to a watergoblet.

"You should know that, and you also know you underestimate Eglantine, she isn't weak. Expelliarmus"

Viper blocked the spell and shook her head. "I don't underestimate Professor Delanquar, Kiara. If anything my respect for her these past few weeks has increased. I know she isn't weak. I'm just warning you to be cautious. Can anyone truly say they would not give up their deepest darkest secrets under the cruciatus?" she quickly added. "Besides me of course, but thats nothing to do with my moral fiber. thats just a medical issue. anyways, BOMBARDO!"

"Protego Totalum!!"

" Depending how impprtant that secret is people have resisted telling information under the curciatus before, Turture can't break everyone"

" Petrificus Totalus"

Viper blocked the spell again, not in the mood to be frozen. She sighed. "I don't mean just torture, Kiara. It's an example. You know as well as I do that Voldemort has many methods of getting what he wants. I'm merely beseeching you to be cautious. Eglantine is a powerful witch, I've no doubt about it. But more powerful witches and wizards have succumed to Voldemort's mind. Kiara, I'm not trying to throw dirt on her, I'm just informing you of a possible leak. That's all. Stupefy!"

Kiara ducked out of the way.

"I am cautious, and I the appreciate the concern, but to tell you the truth, I have told Eglantine nothing, It is the other way around she has been telling me everything, I offer her advice and support, I have no secrets to offer her"

"Impedimenta"

Viper conjured a shield charm and nodded. "It is merely a word of advice, Kiara. One that I hope you shall take heed of should you ever be desiring a confidante. Tarantallegra!"

Kiara once again moved out of the way of the spell.

"That is one word of advice i am already well practiced in"

"Flipendo"

Viper nodded, keeping her shield charm steady. "Indeed. But even the most practiced of us need a refresher every now and again, and that's all this was, Kiara. Not a dirt storm." she glanced at Eglantine, the corners of her mouth twitching "Truth be told, Professor's kind of growing on me." she winked before throwing her favorite charm "Bombardo!"

"Protego!!"

Once again the spell pushed her back a bit and broke her sheild.

"Good I don't have to have you acting like an old married couple anymore"

"Rictusempra"

"Protego!"

She smiled and shot Kiara an mock bewildered look, batting her long eyelashes in confusion. "But then what would we do all day?" she laughed before exclaiming "Stupefy!"

Kiara side stepped.

"On second thought nevermind, you two actually getting along could be more dangerous"

"Obscuro"

Viper laughed as she blocked the site. "We're the Heads of Slytherin and Gryffindor, Kiara. You may as well write it in stone that we were meant to be rivals! Wingardium Leviosa!" she aimed at Kiara.

"Finite Incantatem" said Kiara.

She gasped in pain as she landed on her injured, but quickly pushed it back to the back of her mind.

"Good point, but you never know"

Viper ducked ut of the way only to have her hand turned to stone. She eyed it for a moment before "finite incantatem"

She smiled. "Kiara, I'll admit that I'm getting fond of Professor, but I highly doubt we shall ever be best friends who go on shopping excursions." she giggled at the thought. "Can you imagine her entering one of my stores?" she laughed at the thought, not cruelly, but out of pure mirth.

"Colloshoo!"

"Protego!!"

"i suppose not, but that could be the age difference to"

"Incarcerous"

"Finite Incantatem."

Viper smiled. "I suppose. We should go shopping sometime!" she suggested before casting "Bombarda Maxima!"

Kiara growled.

"Protego Totalum!!" it pushed her back caused her to stummble.

"You really like that curse don't you?"

"Stupify!"

Viper shielded herself, skidding a few feet from the impact. She smiled and nodded. "It's one of my favorite spells. I'm a fan of the explosive." she winked before casting "Depulso!"

"Protego!"

"So do I.... Unfortunatly the use of the of the explosion spell could break my promise not to "hurt" you. So how about this..."

"Deprimo!!"

Viper rolled out of the way "Aguamenti!" she breathed out.

"Incendio!!"

The water and fire clashed canceling eachother out.
