Professor Viper's Personal Chambers (Located Nearby Slytherin Common Rooms)

Viper closed her eyes as Sevastyan trailed his kisses along her collarbone, thoroughly enjoying the sensations they invoked in her, very much like the ones she had experienced last night. "They definately don't make them like this in England..."she mused.

To answer his question, she gently lifted his head and met his lips once more, kissing him deeply. "Does that answer your question?" she whispered with the same semi-smirk and smile. Much like she had done last night, she ran her fingers through his hair, brushing the strands away from his handsome face. "What about you? I do so hope our...activities...did not over exert you." she teased lightly, kissing the side of his neck gently.

Had the touch been anyone else's, Sevastyan would have wildly rebelled against being led away. Without hesitation he met and matched the emotions found within the kiss, and unlike last night was quite reluctant to let her break the lip-lock.

A tingling sensation was left behind in the wake of her touch, leaving him momentarily stunned. Viper's teasing was met by a dry-mouthed laugh. "I may have been injured before... our activities, to use your vords... but I'm by no means frail," he replied softly. An arm disentangled itself and slowly made its way up her side. As she had done with him, Sevastyan lifted her head gently and locked onto her lips with his again in a passionate kiss.

Without even thinking or even separating from the affection Sevastyan disentangled the rest of himself and propped his upper half up with an elbow, though the hand on the end of this arm had wriggled itself to rest beneath her head. Seconds later he was leaning over her, his other hand tracing the features of her jaw and the contours of her neck. By the time he reached her collarbone he broke apart the kiss so they could catch their breath. "Does this answer your question?" he asked, repeating the question posed to him in a seductive tone as he traced an elaborate pattern upon the skin of her shoulder, and worked his way down her arm. The gray irises were bright with a mixture of emotions.

At Sevastyan's answer to her inquiry, Viper sighed, enjoying every single emotion he ignited. With a barely concealed smile she shook her head. "No, it does not. Maybe you need to clarify your answer. Be a bit more thorough..." She replied in the same teasingly seductive manner, her green orbs sparkling.

Raising her head slightly, she kissed the corner of his mouth slowly and deeply, her hands and fingernails, trailing and scratching down his back. She briefly wondered if his back bore any deep marks, courtesy of Viper's nails last night...

It was clear her statement was out of play, but interpretation allowed for many different responses. Did Amaranth imply what Sevastyan thought she was getting at? The physical signals seemed a sure enough indication to him.

"I shall endeavor to enlighten you further, then..." the Russian trailed off breathlessly before aligning his lips with hers, slowly but surely, matching the depth she offered and adding a bit more as he felt her nails dig into the skin of his bare back. There were several trails already present upon the light olive skin, some welts deeper than others, but aside from a comfortable heat radiating from the scratches that was all the wizard was aware of.

With a quick, smoldering glare at the open curtains, Sevastyan wandlessly spelled them closed, enveloping the pair of them in darkness for a second time...


A Few Hours Later......

Sevastyan was comfortably propped up into a semi-sitting position, still in Amaranth's bed, with said woman reclined against his chest. He enjoyed the feel of her skin upon his. The sensation made him feel even more alive than he already knew he was. A spark of the passion between them still remained, taking the form of warm embers. One lonely sliver of green light peeked in on them from the curtains.

Things were quiet for several moments, the only noise consisting of their breathing. There was still a sheen of sweat upon his fore. Stormy gray eyes watched her, soft and serene, as he adjusted her hair by gathering it up and placing it on the shoulder of hers that was furthest from him. "I believe the expression goes: 'a penny for your thoughts'?" Sevastyan asked her, his voice as soft and tender as the caress of his finger upon her cheek that followed.

For a while, Viper lay against Sevastyan, more content and happy since, well, ever to be brutally honest. The feel of his skin against her's and the sound of his heartbeat and breathing putting her in a state of complete tranquility. Still, her thoughts continued to circle on what would happen the moment they left this room. True, both admitted having deep feelings for the other, but...what if last night and today was just a heat of the moment thing?

Viper didn't truly believe Sevastyan would ever do such a thing like that to her. But still... The long list of men who have disappointed and hurt her weighed heavily on her mind.

At the sound of his voice, she immediately broke from her reverie, smiling at his gentle touch. Tilting her head slightly, she pressed a loving kiss on his chest, right where his heart was and snuggled deeper into his form. "What are we?" she asked softly with the slightest hint of vulnerability.

Many of Viper's relationships with people, not necessarily romantic, but various ones such as her's with Kiara, her's with Eglantine went undefined, constantly changing. But with Sevastyan...well, that simply wasn't an option to Viper. She needed a definition of what they were to each other, who they were, what exactly their relationship was.

Friends like him and Eglantine? Boyfriend and girlfriend like Mr.Vaight and Ms. Casillas? Brother and Sister-ish like him and Kiara? What were they?

Viper honestly did not know the answer. Although, she dearly prayed it wasn't the latter of the three...

The corners of his mouth twitched upward at the affectionate contact. "Vot are ve?" he repeated, not really surprised at the apparent fact that this was what Amaranth was thinking. Sevastyan detected a slight overtone of something in her voice, though couldn't place what it was. "That is a good qvestion. However, I can only give you information on vot I think ve are," he began cautiously. The Russian prayed to Merlin that what he was about to say didn't get laughed off.

"Last night, before... before our declarations, I vos under the impression that ve vere just friends," Sevastyan explained. "But now... it is different. I'm not the kind of man or vizard that does this kind of thing on a vhim. At least, now... I von't deny the fact I vos by no means an innocent youth." A hand reached across Viper's abdomen for her hand.

"I- I vould personally like to think that ve have crossed the line from friends to... to a... boyfriend and girlfriend doesn't seem to qvite say vot I vant to say. The next thing is, vould you have me in such a capacity?" Sevastyan finished his speech on an uncertain note. Was that what she wanted? Is that the way she felt about him? Would it change once they separated company? How were they to act around not just their charges but their colleagues when the other was near?

Sevastyan decided to leave out all the rest, focusing solely on Amaranth and her reactions to his words. Why did the gap of time between admission and response seem so awkward?

At the touch of Sevastyan's hand on her's Viper immediately responded, entwining them.

At his response to her question, Viper could not stop the small smile slowly spreading across her face. Obviously he was having similar thoughts as she was and having trouble defining their relationship.

"Only if you'd have me." she whispered, bringing his hand to rest against her cheek as she snuggled deeper against his chest, reassured by his words.

"Конечно," he replied in the same tone and stretched his neck as far as it would allow to kiss the top of her head. It had been one of the last words he'd said before the chain of events the night before. Sevastyan's other arm wrapped around her tightly, encouraging the closeness she was initiating. "Of course," Sevastyan translated for her. "Vy vould I not have you?"

A kind of hush fell over them again, but it was a comfortable one...

As Sevastyan and Viper lay curled together on her bed, it soon became apparent to the witch that the once comfortable silence, well, wasn't exactly silence anymore, for the wizard had started humming.

It took Viper a moment to realize what Sevastyan was humming but when she did, she grinned widely. She knew the song all to well for it was one of her favorites. Craning her neck, she whispered into his ear. "I want to taste you but your lips are venomous poison..." before kissing the spot right beneath it

Sevastyan quirked a brow in response to the breath upon his ear. It took him a moment to realize precisely what it was she'd said, and by the time he did he had hummed a couple more lines.

"I don't vanna break these chains..." he attempted to sing softly in a capella, deciding it best not to move whilst receiving the display of affection.


"You know this song? By Alice Cooper?" Sevastyan asked with clearly pleasant surprise. The artist in question wasn't a wizard, to the Russian's knowledge, but he was indeed a rather magnificent songwriter. Misunderstood by the general public of the Muggle world during his rise to prominence and thereafter, but great nonetheless.

Viper giggled softly and nodded. "One of my colleagues John Munch was a die-hard fan. He'd play the cd over and over again in the lab when we were trying to work. He'd infuriate everyone with it but soon it just helped us stay focused." she sighed. "It reminds me of Munch..."

Realizing how what she said may be interpreted, she quickly added. "The artist, not that particular song. No, that'd be...strange. No, Munch loved Alice Cooper, had his posters all over his office." she smiled, reminiscing.

"What's your favorite song?"

Had the word 'colleague' or some other platonic adjective not preceded the name of the man, Sevastyan would have gotten rather worried and more than a little suspicious. Instead he favored hearing Viper's tale over needlessly jumping to conclusions. A laugh escaped his lips as she sighed.

He seemed to contemplate her question rather deeply, as if he'd just been asked his opinion on the meaning of life. "I've never really had vone distinct favorite... there vere too many to choose from," he chuckled, "But I've alvays liked the song Poison. Of his newer vorks, I liked Vicked Young Man, Pick Up the Bones. I am the Spider is my current favorite, I suppose you could say.

"Vot of you? Do you have a favorite song?"

"Or, better yet, vot does 'that particular song' remind you of?" Sevastyan wondered, kissing her tenderly on the forehead. Obviously he was referring to the song he'd been humming moments ago. To ensure she didn't fret about the chances of misinterpreting what she'd said, the Russian smiled after asking such a question.

Viper grinned and nodded. "Poison is one of my favorites. Along with This Maniac is in Love with You, Welcome to My Nightmare, and Spark in the Dark ((xD))"

At his rather suggestive question, she smirked, kissing him gently. "I think we spent quite a bit of time demonstrating the interpreted meaning of the song last night and earlier." she winked.

"I like those as vell," Sevastyan returned.

He had to laugh just a little at her observation. "That ve did," he agreed and tightened his grip on her just hard and long enough for her to know he'd done it.

"Though, I have no problems vith finding vays to interpret it further... if I vere to have a villing partner to do it vith me," Sevastyan remarked perhaps even more suggestively than the time previous.

At the suggestive response Viper giggled. "I don't wanna break these chains..." she whispered, feeling that lyric summed up her answer rather nicely as she ran her fingers through his hair.

Sevastyan leaned his head against hers, enjoying the closeness even if it wasn't as passionately amorous as before. As her hand went through his hair, his fingers traced her jaw line. "I vant to kiss you, but I vant it too much..." he replied in lyric with the same tone, and tenderly kissed the corner of her mouth as if to prove the first part of that lyric was more than just reciting the words.

Viper leaned even closer at the contact, getting fluttering sensations from his touch. "I want to taste you but your lips are venomous poison." she replied, leaning closer as though she was about to kiss him but pulling back at the last moment, instead tracing his lips with her thumb.

Sevastyan leaned forward to meet the kiss, and couldn't help but grin mischievously when she'd pulled back. "You're poison runnin' through my veins..." he recited with his grin still in place, fingers trailing across her arm in vein-like directions.

He decided to change the verse, "Your mouth, so hot..." Sevastyan mimicked Amaranth's present gesture of lip-tracing. "Your veb, I'm caught..." he whispered and leaned toward her. The implications were pretty much clear on that one, or at least to him they were clear. After all, this was Viper's domain...

Viper gave a pleasant shiver at his caress across her arm and across her lips, kissing his fingers as he did so. Reaching over to trace his damp forhead, she whispered with a half smile, half smirk. “Your skin so wet…” she broke off as she thought of how to illustrate the upcoming verse. After all, neither of them were wearing lace…

However, the smirk soon became full-fledged as she whispered a spell, transfiguring
the emerald covers that covered them to an emerald, lacier one. "Black lace on sweat..." she replied triumphantly with a playful smile.

Sevastyan quirked a brow in interest at her improvisation. He wasn't really one for wearing lace, but he couldn't help but appreciate for a moment how it looked when draped upon Amaranth.

"I hear you calling and it's needles and pins..." he followed, his interpretation of this lyric in regards to the pair of them making itself known as he very lightly dragged his fingernails along her forearm in a hint as to what he was referring to. Sevastyan couldn't help but smirk suggestively, waiting to see her reaction to that one.

Viper countered his smirk, pushing Sevastyan unto the bed so she was right on top of him and kissed his neck before breathing against his ear. "I want to hurt you just to hear you screaming my name..." digging her nails into his shoulder blades as an emphasis.

Raven eyebrows rose as he allowed himself to be pushed, the areas of skin Viper touched with hands, lips, and breath feeling a distinct tingle. 'Vell, I don't know about hurting, but...' Sevastyan had started to muse when he felt a peculiar sinking of fingernails into his shoulder blades. He didn't start at the touch, but he did unexpectedly grunt in response. It was hard to tell if it was out of genuine pain, exaggerated pain, or, likely more plausible: pleasure. The only thing for sure was that she had caught the Russian unawares.

"Don't vant to touch you but you're under my skin." Now if that wasn't the most blatant lie: it was clear that touching Amaranth in some way was central to his gestures of affection. Just to prove it was entirely lyric, Sevastyan wrapped one arm around her waist and gently pulled her so that she would be directly on top of him skin-to-skin. His other hand cautiously gathered her hair. Sevastyan then reached up to return the gesture of a kiss upon her neck.

Viper stifled a gasp at the completely direct contact and added displays of affection. "I want to kiss you but your lips are venomous poison..." she nuzzled against his neck, shivering slightly from his kiss. Though seconds later, she defied the lyric, opting to place a lingering kiss on Sevastyan's lips.

Sevastyan smiled at the returned affection, savoring every moment of this closeness. Of course, all of the romance they shared since the night previous had been just as relished. He raised his head up to meet her in the kiss, the fingers of his left hand lovingly tracing the contours of her ear and getting lightly tangled in her hair.

"Should I be vorried about an angry snake in addition to a perturbed, protective House-Elf?" he asked with more than a little amusement. Sevastyan didn't remember seeing the snake. Either way, both pet and elf would just have to deal with it: that much could be read plainly in his eyes, right beside the amusement. The arm around her waist - his right - tightened slightly in a form of embrace. The fingers of his left hand tenderly combed and de-tangled the closest bit of hair he was able to reach.

Viper raised an eyebrow in amusement. "Should I be worried about an angry thestral?" she countered playfully before melting into a cadence of light laughter.

"No, Drakon will love you just as much, if not more. The house-elf...well, I have no idea. House-Elfs are very tricksy." Viper nodded in a mock-serious tone before dissolving into laughter once more, snuggling into Sevastyan's chest.
