Celina's Apartment

-After Zeph has run away(twist+1month)-

Celina pushed open the door to Zeph's room. And her look of shock soon changed to anger.

"Zephir!"

Noticing his duvet and other items were missing, she stormed down the stairs and began to search the house.

"Damn boy!" She hissed, pulling open cupboards to check for her son.

Diana walked in front of the front door. "Is this it?" She asked Darien.

Darien shrugged. "No idea." Peering awkwardly around, he swallowed and rapped sharply on the door. "Celina? You here?"

Celina paused in brief surprise, leaving the cupboard door ajar, and slipped the chain from the door to examine the two people she had not been expecting to ever see on her doorstep.

"Well, eesn't thees a pleasure? I am sorry, but I 'ave important zings to do..."

"Like finding your son?" Darien was blunt.

Celina glowered. "'Ow would you know about zat?"

"He'd shown up in our doorstep claiming that he's a run-away." Diana explained.

"A likeleeey story!" Celina glared. "Ees zis your revenge, keednappeeng my son?"

Darien glanced at Diana in a bemused manner. "...What the hell?! HE turned up on OUR doorstep! How the hell is that kidnapping?!"

"As I said, a likeleey story!"

Diana put a hand on Darien's shoulder to attempt to relax him. She replied. "We didn't kidnap him."

Celina made a noise of disbelief.

Darien took a deep breath. "It's true!"

"Save eet for ze jury." She spat. "And geeve heem back to me immédiatement!"

"What are you talking about?" Diana said in disbelief.

"You heard moi!" Celina snapped, folding her arms and adopting an oddly aggressive posture.

Darien muttered to Diana out of the corner of his mouth. "I think she means she'll take us to court...though what for I have no idea." To Celina, he merely added "You're crazy."

"Crazy?! Moi?! Would you be zo calm eef your son 'ad been stoleen from you?!"

"We've told you already, he came to us!" Darien began to shout. "It's not our fault you don't look after him! When did you even notice he'd gone? He must have been walking since this morning, you stupid-"

"I look after eem perfectly well!" Celina interrupted, a faint tinge of pink forming on her cheeks, though whether it was anger of mild shame Darien couldn't quite decipher.

"Taking us to court won't be necessary. We didn't kidnap him." Diana said looking at Darien then back at Celina. "He's at perfect liberty to leave whenever he wishes, and return to you."

"Well o' course you are lyeeng!" Celina hissed, refusing to believe her son would ever stay away from her by choice.

"This is getting us nowhere." Diana said sighing. "Listen, why don't you floo him and ask him to come home?"

"Why don't you just breeng eem 'ome?" Celina demanded, still livid.

Darien snarled. "Because he doesn't want to! And I don't bloody blame him!"

"Of course 'e wants to! I am ees muzzer!" Celina lashed out at Darien, but missed.

"We cannot force him to come here." Diana said putting a shielding charm between them and Celina.

"But no doubt you can force 'eem not to!" Celina snapped.

Darien glared. "Shut. Up. He's not being held hostage. If you don't want him back that's fine."

"Of course I do!" Celina faltered.

"Alright, how about we arrange a meeting? Where you can ask him to come back home." Diana suggested.

Celina's expression was sulky. "Fine. Where exactly?"

"Anywhere you'd like." Diana said glancing at Darien.

Celina pursed her lips. "Very well. I vill come and see 'eem, at your 'ome."

"Fair enough." Diana said. "We'll be seeing you then."

Darien turned and began to walk away.

Celina paused, the slammed the door.
