"Like football, you say. Sounds very interesting. I'm sure I will enjoy watching you and the others play it." She cleared her throat and glanced over at the board.

In a flash of blue light A Phoenix appeared beside Eglantine, leaveing the head mistress note asking her to come to her office later and the cane.

Just as quickly as the blue Phoenix it appeared it vanished again.

Eglantine shrieked as the unexpected arrival of the bird just about gave her a heart attack and placed a hand to her forehead as the bird vanished. "Goodness!" she murmured, picking up the piece of paper and noticing the cane. "How thoughtful though."
A moment later an envelope floated down the hallway.

"I am sorry if I snapped at you earlier, I hadn't meant to. I know you were only worried. There is a reason behind my actions however. come to my office when you are free and I will tell you what happened the night i stopped being an Auror.

Diana blinked at the surprise appearance of the Phoenix.
"Well isn't this a night of magical creatures," she mused to herself. While the Professor read the note given by the Phoenix, Diana managed to wipe a good portion of the chalkboard.

"When you finish with that board, we will make out way to the DADA classroom to clean that one as well." DeLanquar said softly.

"Alright Professor." Diana said. She dusted off the remaining dust in the surface area of the board.

"So, to the DADA classroom then?"

Eglantine rose from the desk and leaned heavily on the cane. She had no idea why her legs and hip were giving her such a terrible time that day.
"Yes, off we go."

Diana sensed her Professor's difficulty. "Err... Ma'am, where is your cane? I don't think I've ever seen you with out it."

"Right here." she replied tapping it on the ground. "The Headmistress sent it with her bird."

"Oh," Diana said. "Shall we go then?"
