Muggle Hospital

Aiden sighed as Ana's Father coughed.. and coughed...

"Merlin... Ana? Why don't you can get some one to help him? I will stay here.." He whispered.

Ana nodded gratefully. "Thanks." She headed to the door. "I'll be back soon."

Reginald's coughing paused momentarily as the door swung shut.

Aiden stood where he was waiting for Ana to come back with someone, he hoped it was soon.. Ana's father was hardly a person he wanted to stay in a room alone with, hurt or not.

He raised his eye brow at the man when he stopped coughing, but other then that he desperately tried to avoid eye contact.

Reginald raised his eyebrow in response.

"...And how are your parents um...Arron?" Reginald's illness had not made much difference to his feigned forgetfullness or general attitude.

Aiden sighed and rolled his eyes. "My name is Aiden Sir.. and My parents are fine, thank you." He said folding his arms in front of him.

Reginald felt another wave of pain pass through him, but gave no outward sign, as far as he was aware.

"...Out of interest...Aiden...Why are you really here?"

Aiden contemplated for a moment..

"I am here because I am Ana's friend Sir, She wanted me to come... So here I am" he said this time meeting Reg Vaights in the eye.

"Odd." Reginald remarked, closing his eyes once more. "I wasn't aware she still needed people to hold her hand..."

Aiden once again fought the urge to glare..

"I am sure she doesn't sir, but I am sure you are aware Hospital are not the most pleasant of places.. As I said I am here as her friend" he said hoping Ana returns with some to give him something to sedate him...

"Her friend...of course." Reginald opened his eyes again, another jab of pain racking his leg.

"What sort of friend precisely?"

Aiden would have liked to say, None of your business.. but of course he couldn't.

" I am a good friend" he said simply.

He then wanted to ask what sort of father are you?... but again he held his tongue.. for now.

"I should hope so." Reginald closed his eyes again as another spasm of pain hit him.

"Should you be anything other than a good friend to my daughter I might have to kill you."

Aiden wasn't sure if he was kidding or not... but it sounded like a threat.

He cleared his throat, " Of course Sir...." he said playing it safe.

"Good..." Reginald sighed, a few more spasms of pain assualting his right hand side.

Aiden sighed and looked around for Ana to come back before Mr. Vaight quizzed him again on his relationship with Ana and others.

"Ana? Whats up out there, everything alright? your father seems to have stopped coughing, if you want to know..."

The door swung inwards, and several nurses rushed in, grabbed the ends of the bed and proceeded to start wheeling Reg away.

Ana slipped through the door as the nurses left, feeling awkward. "Not a moment too soon...They're taking him to St Mungo's now, and Darien's with him." She attempted to smile.

"...Sorry about that...He's just-well, he's always a git."

Aiden smiled " Not a problem Ana, scary thought actually.. being here in the hospital did nothing to change his disposition.." he said.

"So no whats the plan, what to go to Mungos as well? or back to hogwarts?" he asked, concerned her looked so tired.

Ana sighed. "Does anything ever change his disposition?"

"Uh...I mean, Darien's with him...And it's unfair to drag you around after my grumpy dad." She paused. "Should we just go back to school?"

Ana was greatly relieved, she knew he father would be on the mend soon enough at St Mungos. And Darien had promised to let her know of any changes... Her worry was now overwhelmed by fatigue.

Aiden breathed out "Only if are sure Ana" he said as he put his hand on her shoulder, " I don't mind really.."

"But I am fine with going back to Hogwarts, you seem like you could use some rest" he said making a move to head out the door.

Ana shook her head. "I'm fine." She followed him back into the corridor.

Aiden nodded not wanting to argue with her.

He did think they should go back to hogwarts though, Ana was surely tired even though she said she wasn't.

"It is up to you Ana, but I am sure your Father is in good hands.. he will be his chipper self as usual with in the day..." he said.

Ana smiled slightly at the idea of Reginald as "chipper".

"Sure. Let's go back to..Hogsmeade?"

Aiden nodded and smiled, " Sure sound fine to me, sounds wonderful compared to this hospital" he said with a chuckle.. everything was so white.

Ana smiled, and slipping into an empty corridor, she pulled out her wand and turned on the spot, heading once more into the darkness.

((...Street? Or...somewhere? :L Where to?))

Aiden followed closely behind Ana.. Perhaps he could still get that cup of Tea for Ana from madams.
