McConn House April 10 2024 (Fixed future)

Horatio's mouth fell open but was quickly reeled in as he smiled. "Oh wonderful, Kiara." he exclaimed, leaning forward to kiss her cheek and pat Ciaran on the back. Eglantine smiled as well, gently taking Kiara's hand in hers.
"How lovely." she murmured, her small smile reaching her eyes. "How long?"

Any doubts about Eglantine not aproving vanished from her mind, and she beamed.

"Due in November, I am almost 2 months along now, and I went to a healer as soon as I found out. We are both healthy now and are taking precautions to stay that way" she said pratically glowing at both her parents.

Horatio and Eglantine both nodded, happy that another grandchild would be arriving soon.
"Think it'll be a boy or a girl? or both?" Horatio jested, receiving a rather heated glare from his wife. "Just kidding, sweetbriar..."

Kiara smiled, " Healer says it looks like it might be a girl, to soon to sure yet. And heavens no, we not having twins... you two have that area covered." she said with a chuckle.

Horatio nodded. "A sweet little lass then..." he murmured. "Like our dear Rossa, eh?" Ciaran nodded.
"Thought of any names?" Horatio continued, curious. After all, he and Eglantine had decided on Ara and Ava's names the day after they had found out she was expecting.

"A bit soon love..." Eglantine murmured, obviously forgetting how quickly she and Horatio had decided on their daughter's names.

Kiara looked Ciaran, she personaly hadn't thought about it yet, to many other issues to worry over.

"I don't know yet, what do you think dear?" she asked Ciaran, she mind becomeing sleepy after the days events to think of names.

Ciaran smiled. "A nice gaelic name from me family sounds nice." he murmured. Horatio coughed.
"Something that everyone can pronounce if ya please." Horatio muttered. After all the McConn and McKevin clan were hardly known for their simple names.

Kiara agreed with Horatio, she would go with any name Ciaran wanted, but as long as the younger children and there future teachers could say easily.

Truth be told she was rather picky about names, despite her attempts not to be.

"Yes I can already see Rossa trying to say her little sisters name" she said with a giggle.

Ciaran chuckled. "Would be like me first attempt to say me uncle's name. Hard one, lass." he murmured.
Horatio having witnessed the event, chuckled as well.
"You said it 9 ways and no of them correctly."

Kiara chuckled, "It would be cute though" she said.

Streching again she got up, "I am going to get some Tea, would any hor any of you?" she asked. She of course would be getting one of her herbal blends, without Caffein.

Horatio wrinkled his nose. "No thanks, dear. I'm on a total sugar and fat diet." Eglantine's exasperated sigh confirmed what he said.
Chuckling Ciaran nodded. "That would be lovely, lass." he murmured, rising from his chair. "I'll help ya."

Kiara smiled at Ciaran, She hadn't told him she was expecting anymore then a hour ago and he was already offering to help her with things. She found it was not nessisiary at moment but she found it very sweet of him. However she was starting to get tired, so she didn't argue with him.

"We have hot chocolate as well Horatio " she said heading to the Kitchen.

Horatio beamed. "Well in that case...I'm all for it." he chuckled, rising from the couch and following Ciaran and Kiara into the kitchen.
"So... you do plan to name the little darling don't you?" he asked, leaning against the counter.

Ciaran rolled his eyes. "Of course, Horatio."

Kiara laughed, "Really Horatio, think we are leave our baby nameless, we have 7 more months to think of a name Horatio... no rush to choose one now" she said filling the kettle with water.

Horatio shrugged. "Eglantine and I had Ara and Ava's names all planned a day after we found out!"

Ciaran nodded. "And from what I recall... you did not speak to each other for a week afterwards." Eglantine entered the kitchen, having been left abandoned in the sitting room.
"I spoke to Horatio..." she murmured. "He just slept on the couch."

Horatio groaned. "Awful week that was. Here I was planning on becoming a father and all ready to celebrate...and my darling wife kicked me from our bedroom." He winked at Eglantine, who rolled her eyes.

Kiara shook her head, "I would rather not fight over names thank you" she said putting the kettle on the stove. She had enough to worry about, never mind getting all in a tiff over what they were naming the child. It was silly.

They would talk about names and find one both of them liked.

Horatio nodded, patting Kiara's shoulder. "Of course, Kiara. I was only kidding with you."

Kiara smiled and chuckled but said nothing, as she summond a pack of hot chocolate, from the higher top counter, heavens no, if she and Ciaran fought... she didn't know what to do.... for she couldn't have this baby with out him.

"What is everyone else having? Ciaran, Eglantine hm?" she asked pushing abway the scarey thought as she made the tea.

Ciaran retrieved the tea ball and loose tea tin and mugs, setting them down on the counter.
"Tea for me." He smiled, kissing her neck. Eglantine didn't appear to have heard Kiara, as she was staring out the kitchen window.
"Eglantine. Tea?" Horatio muttered, touching her arm. She glanced back at them, looking slightly confused.
"Is Edan suppose to be in the yard?" she asked, cocking her head to the side.

Ciaran's eyes widened and he hurried to the window. Sure enough, Edan was playing in the dark. "What the..." he murmured already headed for the door. "I put him in bed."

Horatio chuckled. "Apparently he hopped out."

Kiara looked outside and blinked, "How did he get to only way out is through the back door...." she said as she followed Ciaran outside to retrieve their son, who seemed to take his own little adventure outside.

Ciaran was wondering the same thing as he scooped his barefoot son from the leaves in the back yard.
"How'd ya get out here, lad?" he asked, carrying him over to Kiara.
Edan beamed, pointing up at the window.
"I flew, Da!"

Kiara mouth dropped and she looked up at the window "Good heavens" she breathed mostly out of relief he hadn't fallen and broke his neck. And making a mental note to talk to her son about trying to copy muggle movies.

Edan noticed that both of his parents looked unconvinced. "But I did, Mama! I was laying in bed and suddenly I flew out the window!"

Kiara's eyes widened in alarm, suddenly very glad she hadn't seen this happen... "Yes honey, not to worry I believe you, Eden honey, did you want to fly?" she asked since he didn't scared by the expirence, so in was resonable to assume he wanted it to happen.

She sent a glance to Ciaran, it was time to talk to there son about trying to control his magic, what Edan just did could have been quiet dangerous it is lost his focus at the wrong momrent.

Ciaran almost chuckled, but bit his lip to remain stern.
"Oh yay! I wanted ta fly, Mama. Like Miss Price." he exclaimed, smiling.
